### "Good cloud based program"

It has been a good program. I like that it is customizable but not overly so. They continue to add helpful features which is great. Since it is constantly being updated it doesn't get dated buuuttt just like many dynamic programs, recent updates can lead to big headaches.

Pros

I love that it is cloud based. I am a mobile practice so I use cell data to be able to go from house to house. Not too click heavy and generally intuitive for the most part. Many add on features that come with the program.

Cons

The text boxes for exam forms do not allow for rich text. I like to bold my abnormals. Many add ons, but some are more robust than others creating headaches at times. My quickbooks doesn't always play nice with the program but I love that it brings done my admin time. I just wish they would remit tax appropriately when transferring from quickbooks.

### "Helpful and friendly"

Overall it is pretty positive. It is difficult for our less tech-savvy staff to work with. We are a mobile equine vet with 3 veterinarians so scheduling can get hectic. The customer service is supportive and helpful but sometimes feels limited in what they can do.

Pros

Their customer support is always friendly even in frustrating situations. I like that it is cloud based so that we can all access it from anywhere.

Cons

It is not a very user-friendly interface. I wish it was more mobile friendly. Several of the enhancements we have asked for have sat for well over a year.

I am still new to the system, but overall it has been very user friendly. I am really excited to use all of DaySmart's features and see how they impact the business.

Pros

Customer support from the help desk has been great. They get to your questions quickly and give you clear directions on how to edit or find anything you need.

Cons

I wish there was a way to hover over a patient to see what services they are due for from the appointment screen. It would be a lot more convenient.

Love love love Daysmart. Would be their poster child if I could. I love how user friendly it is. Use it

Pros

Friendly customer service even for silly question. I just love the Daysmart Software so user friendly. The phone application is another good part especially on the run and when I forget my laptop...SO EASY! Has allowed me to let go of AVImark after 16 years...much more functional program. They also are ipen to improvememts if warranted.

Cons

Sometimes you have to wait for a call back and leave a message. Sometimes that can be frustrating because it can take a day.

### "DaySmart Cloud-based PIMS"

We chose DaySmart as our PIMS for a new clinic and it has worked out very well for us and the staff. They offer training to help new staff get up to speed.

Pros

We've been using DaySmart for 5 years. They provide good value for the money and good customer support. There are occasional bugs but they are usually fixed in short order. They are always making updates and improvements based on customer feedback. The scheduling and mobile app are also very helpful for getting patients in the right appointments.

Cons

After they sold the company and became DaySmart support and improvements took a bit of a hit in terms of response times and improvements but they got better over time.

Excellent. Would highly recommend using the online chat so you can keep working while they investigate the issue you may be having.

Pros

They were quick to resolve our issue and send us the report we needed. They made sure we received updates.

Cons

Having to constantly check my computer for updates. Would prefer if they could give a time for an update.

I started with Daysmart after only being with In clinic only software. Daysmart has made my working from home so much easier.

Pros

This system is incredibly easy to learn at point of play. Customer Support has been kind and incredibly helpful any time I've had to use them! I have used both Chat and phone support. Cloud based so I can access DaySmart anywhere

Cons

Has some glitches with invoicing, Especially if two people are in the same invoice at the same time.

### "Wonderful System"

I love it! I have used multiple other systems in my 20 years and this is one of the easiest. The setup took less time than other systems I have setup. It has a lot of features and integrations that are helpful.

Pros

I LOVE DaySmart! It is so easy to use and they are constantly upgrading it with things we request. It is easy to request changes and you are able to vote on other people's recommendations. It is easy to email or text people their invoices, forms, certificates and more. Clients can pay online easily or we can put their card on file. The app for clients is great. They can see all of their documents and request refills. I made most of our forms and it was easy to figure out. The setup process is easier than some other systems. Making adjustments to inventory is also super easy.

Cons

Sometimes our clients get confused with our DaySmart texts because they come from a different number than our clinic number. It would be nice if the DaySmart texts came from our number.

Our Vet had used DaySmart/Vetter before. I had used and helped set up EzyVet. We both used Idexx Neo at our last practice. When we talked about the setup differences and we realized DaySmart was much easier to setup.

Thank you for your review. Good news -- if you contact our support, we may be able to use your business number to send/receive SMS messages. It's called 'SMS porting' and as long as your business phone number isn't used for any texting service currently, we can port it to be used for SMS messages sent/received in our software.

They waited for me for over 3 weeks while another team worked on the issue. Make your own inventory items.

Cons

They do not inform me about update; usually happening over holidays. Notes are reversed, so the most recent should be at the top.

Excellent customer service, a program that is easy to navigate, and frequent updates that improve the quality of the program.

Pros

DaySmart customer support has always been very responsive to my questions via live chat, and they have excellent customer service and provide clear answers. I greatly appreciate that if the person I'm chatting with can't answer the questions, they find the right people to give me an answer in a very timely manner.

Cons

I really don't have any dislikes! I was the person in our practice that wrote all the workflows when we transitioned to DaySmart years ago, and it was very easy to do because the program is so clear and navigable.

Customer service has been helpful with our concerns. It has taken a while to get used to the work flow but we are starting to figure out how to best make it work for us. Wish there was a way to start a SOAP note and then bring in the estimate vs having to open a SOAP by converting the soap to an invoice...just adds an additional step.

Pros

Appreciate the drug log, fairly easy to use, and price point. Customer service has been helpful addressing our questions. Easy to email records and text clients through service.

Cons

Very click heavy. Wish there was an integrated AI for SOAP notes. Also wish the text # could be set to our business phone number vs having a separate number. It is confusing to some clients.

Easy to use, multiple ways to get to one place, mostly self explanatory. I can request a feature and I can usually get the feature added.

Pros

Easy to use. If you have a question, support staff is just a few clicks away.

Cons

Inventory is glitchy at times. There are times when the On Hand amounts are off but then without changing anything, the next day the numbers are correct.

Overall Daysmart is very straightforward and works well for my limited scope practice. The pricepoint is also very competatitive.

Pros

The product is nicely simplified for my small buisness and their training videos and help platform are well laid out to make set up straight forward. Their help desk is also very responsive and problems get fixed easily. The form set up tool is great as well and very easy to adapt.

Cons

The templates are a bit rigid so adapting the exam for each patient is difficult as you have to write in everybox for the template every time instead of being able to adapt a template to leave out or add in certain elements or body systems in individual medical records. Also adding everything as a 'record' is a bit clunky.

Good response time and knowledgable support.

Pros

The support changes over the last couple months have been a great improvement. Getting updates directly and with the entire tread of the issue is very helpful. Response time has also improved. Chatting directly with support is great!

Cons

The support chat window covers the navigation on the page and sometimes makes it difficult to keep working.

We started implementation with ezyVet and it was a disaster. I had to stop the implementation and then discovered that Vetter and DaySmart were working together. It made the implementation much better and the team was much better than ezyVet. I have done a lot of software implementations in other jobs before I started CRCG and have never experienced anything that bad.

My experience has been great I wouldn't try another software due to how long we have been using and also because they are so helpful when something goes wrong.

Pros

The customer service is really good, they help fast and accurate. And they are always very helpful and friendly.

Cons

The setup of the software, it can become confusing and there are so many different ways or options to get to one item.

Generally we love Daysmart. Usually, the things we are unhappy with are already being worked on by the support team.

Pros

Incredibly helpful support team. Cloud based software is convenient, intuitive, and easy to use. You rarely have to make more than a few clicks to get what you need.

Cons

Can be buggy, but support is almost always helpful. Would be 10000x better if tasks were visible across multiple locations.

overall very happy with this program, would only recommend improving the accounting and inventory functions. Cost of goods sold report is lacking

FANTASTIC FOR MEDICAL RECORDS, easy to use overall. Easy to use, good reminders and overall no issues with the medical record side of things

Cons

accounting is not as good as the medical side of things. Lacks a lot of the account and accounting reports that our office manager wants

Overall, we are satisfied with the software. There are still features that we would like to see added, but we struggle a lot less than we did a few years ago.

Pros

I love the ability to text/chat with the support staff, they are always friendly and helpful. If they aren't able to remedy my situation quickly, they create an engineering ticket and get back with me. I used to have a 3 ring binder, which I used to keep track of printed emails and hand written notes, to keep track of our software issues. Now, a copy of our chat is emailed to me. Our clinic has been using the DaySmart for over 7 years, and several features have been implemented to make the software more user friendly (i.e. the ability to have a "master" item with "uses" that all pull from the same inventory). Also, I really appreciate the integratation with other software platforms, which gives the ability to link lab results into pet profiles, and orders placed via Vetcove and some of the individual vendors are super easy to integrate into inventory.

Cons

I would love the ability to create inventory sales reports by manufacturer. It was a standard report in our previous software, and I used it all the time when placing large orders during promotions.

Overall it’s becoming more user friendly but could use a little work at easier options. Needs easier and quicker ways to navigate

Pros

After using the program for awhile, seems pretty easy to navigate and complete the task at hand. Has good options for information on patient.

Cons

Needs to be easier to see what you’re looking for at hand like possibly having tabs under the patient for each category(medication/procedures/etc) and list them per date. Instead of having to select history then pharmacy then search the meds.

I like it - I think it's quite user friendly! I am not sure if everyone agrees with, but I have been a vet for about 8 years now and I think this is one of the better ones we have used/come across so far!

Pros

First of all, it is quite accessible from anywhere - as long as you have wifi/connection. I think it's quite user friendly, my previous practice did not have pre-populated exams, we are going to be using pre-populated exams in the new practice - game changer!

Cons

It is a little clunky because without pre-populated exam you need to fill out each individual lines from every aspect of the exam - time consuming!

Pros

Honestly its a very powerful program. The more i dig into it the more i enjoy it. Customer support is always helpful for me.

My appointment colors dont always transfer to where i put them in my settings and there are many different ways to do things so it makes it somewhat hard to train new people

Pros

Very user friendly and easy to learn. I appreciate the addition of the learning module, as well as consistent updates trying to continually improve things.

Cons

Unfortunately with every update, there tends to be a glitch with coding, that causes additional issues.

### "Very User Friendly"

Pros

The ease of navigating through the different pages of the platform is a huge plus. The schedule is easy to see and use, especially with how much control we have over how the schedule looks (such as time increments, columns, appointment types). Many of the features are also very intuitive and do not take long to understand, making it very easy to teach to new staff members.

Cons

Not being able to export the correct file type to upload controlled prescriptions for reporting has made more work for our staff, as we now have to manual log them all, whereas our previous system we were able to export a file that was ready to be uploaded. We've also run into a few minor customization issues, such as trouble sending text reminders for surgery appointments since the appointment time is required in the message, or the appointment configuration not letting us change the default to exclude the invoice document.

Overall a fantastic product. I do not have many complaints. Clients have asked for the ability to see radiographs and attachments from the client side of things in the app, but overall very impressed with the simplicity of this software

Pros

Everything is so user friendly and client friendly. The ease of adding information makes my job much simpler and productive.

Cons

I am not able to pull up reminders for all animals at one barn at one time. It would be great to be able to open a facility and open a list of reminders for every animal at that facility for scheduling purposes.
