Love love love Daysmart. Would be their poster child if I could. I love how user friendly it is. Use it

Friendly customer service even for silly question. I just love the Daysmart Software so user friendly. The phone application is another good part especially on the run and when I forget my laptop...SO EASY! Has allowed me to let go of AVImark after 16 years...much more functional program. They also are ipen to improvememts if warranted.

Cons

Sometimes you have to wait for a call back and leave a message. Sometimes that can be frustrating because it can take a day.

Pros

They were quick to resolve our issue and send us the report we needed. They made sure we received updates.

Cons

Having to constantly check my computer for updates. Would prefer if they could give a time for an update.

Easy to use, multiple ways to get to one place, mostly self explanatory. I can request a feature and I can usually get the feature added.

Pros

Easy to use. If you have a question, support staff is just a few clicks away.

Cons

Inventory is glitchy at times. There are times when the On Hand amounts are off but then without changing anything, the next day the numbers are correct.

### "SO happy with DaySmart!!"

Our prior PIMS was slow, not at all intuitive, & had redundant steps involved to do even the most simple tasks. Using DaySmart has been like a night to day difference & we're so glad to have it!

Pros

DaySmart has been so easy to work with. The formatting is very intuitive & has been a breeze to navigate.

Cons

Not really a complaint having to do with DaySmart, but I wish I had more time to review all the upgrades/streamlining being added multiple times a month.

Excellent customer service, a program that is easy to navigate, and frequent updates that improve the quality of the program.

Pros

DaySmart customer support has always been very responsive to my questions via live chat, and they have excellent customer service and provide clear answers. I greatly appreciate that if the person I'm chatting with can't answer the questions, they find the right people to give me an answer in a very timely manner.

Cons

I really don't have any dislikes! I was the person in our practice that wrote all the workflows when we transitioned to DaySmart years ago, and it was very easy to do because the program is so clear and navigable.

Pros

Cons

Unfortunately, there is no way to send mass communication within this practice management system. Wish there was.

Overall, we are satisfied with the DaySmart Vet software. There are still features that we would like to see added, but we struggle a lot less than we did a few years ago.

Pros

I love the ability to text/chat with the support staff, they are always friendly and helpful. If they aren't able to remedy my situation quickly, they create an engineering ticket and get back with me. I used to have a 3 ring binder, which I used to keep track of printed emails and hand written notes, to keep track of our software issues. Now, a copy of our chat is emailed to me. Our clinic has been using the DaySmart for over 7 years, and several features have been implemented to make the software more user friendly (i.e. the ability to have a "master" item with "uses" that all pull from the same inventory). Also, I really appreciate the integratation with other software platforms, which gives the ability to link lab results into pet profiles, and orders placed via Vetcove and some of the individual vendors are super easy to integrate into inventory.

Cons

I would love the ability to create inventory sales reports by manufacturer. It was a standard report in our previous software, and I used it all the time when placing large orders during promotions.

Good response time and knowledgable support.

Pros

The support changes over the last couple months have been a great improvement. Getting updates directly and with the entire tread of the issue is very helpful. Response time has also improved. Chatting directly with support is great!

Cons

The support chat window covers the navigation on the page and sometimes makes it difficult to keep working.

Reason for choosing DaySmart Vet

We started implementation with ezyVet and it was a disaster. I had to stop the implementation and then discovered that Vetter and DaySmart were working together. It made the implementation much better and the team was much better than ezyVet. I have done a lot of software implementations in other jobs before I started CRCG and have never experienced anything that bad.

We had been on DaySmart 123Pet for 16 years and needed medical record functionality and document storage. DaySmart wasn't in the product list for this question so I put in ezyVet. We were in the middle of implementation with ezyVet and it was so bad I had to stop it.

Pros

They waited for me for over 3 weeks while another team worked on the issue. Make your own inventory items.

Cons

They do not inform me about update; usually happening over holidays. Notes are reversed, so the most recent should be at the top.

### "An application that is easy to use with excellent customer service "

Excellent customer service. I’ve had difficulty and many times late at night yet someone always answers and that’s very important to me within the new service.

Pros

Excellent customer support at all hours. It’s easy to use which is most important to me and provides reports that help with business tracking.

Cons

The cost is high compared to many other apps. I loved the Daisy feature but it’s much too expensive.

My experience has been great I wouldn't try another software due to how long we have been using DaySmart Vet and also because they are so helpful when something goes wrong.

Pros

The customer service is really good, they help fast and accurate. And they are always very helpful and friendly.

Cons

The setup of the software, it can become confusing and there are so many different ways or options to get to one item.

Overall Daysmart is very straightforward and works well for my limited scope practice. The pricepoint is also very competatitive.

Pros

The product is nicely simplified for my small buisness and their training videos and help platform are well laid out to make set up straight forward. Their help desk is also very responsive and problems get fixed easily. The form set up tool is great as well and very easy to adapt.

Cons

The templates are a bit rigid so adapting the exam for each patient is difficult as you have to write in everybox for the template every time instead of being able to adapt a template to leave out or add in certain elements or body systems in individual medical records. Also adding everything as a 'record' is a bit clunky.

### "Don't knock it till you try it."

Worlds better than Digitails as we can have a mixed practice online. Cornerstone is so difficult to get online. I am happy with the flow this software gives our clinic.

Pros

The IT staff are always working to help explain anything I do not understand. The program is online so I can work from home or mobile.

Cons

There are some things I would like to see added. Deleting multiple letter under one patient. Texting multiple numbers under one account.

Generally we love Daysmart. Usually, the things we are unhappy with are already being worked on by the support team.

Pros

Incredibly helpful support team. Cloud based software is convenient, intuitive, and easy to use. You rarely have to make more than a few clicks to get what you need.

Cons

Can be buggy, but support is almost always helpful. Would be 10000x better if tasks were visible across multiple locations.

I like it - I think it's quite user friendly! I am not sure if everyone agrees with, but I have been a vet for about 8 years now and I think this is one of the better ones we have used/come across so far!

Pros

First of all, it is quite accessible from anywhere - as long as you have wifi/connection. I think it's quite user friendly, my previous practice did not have pre-populated exams, we are going to be using pre-populated exams in the new practice - game changer!

Cons

It is a little clunky because without pre-populated exam you need to fill out each individual lines from every aspect of the exam - time consuming!

I have used the product since opening my practice in August 2018, and I have no complaints! Visiting doctors compliment the system as well!

Pros

Customer support is top notch! I appreciate how the product is constantly updating to improve the work flow! Scheduling is super easy, for both us and our clients when using the app! I feel like the fees are good for everything that is included.

Cons

Sometimes the program can be a little click heavy and the way you can do one thing multiple different ways.

### "Very User Friendly"

Pros

The ease of navigating through the different pages of the platform is a huge plus. The schedule is easy to see and use, especially with how much control we have over how the schedule looks (such as time increments, columns, appointment types). Many of the features are also very intuitive and do not take long to understand, making it very easy to teach to new staff members.

Cons

Not being able to export the correct file type to upload controlled prescriptions for reporting has made more work for our staff, as we now have to manual log them all, whereas our previous system we were able to export a file that was ready to be uploaded. We've also run into a few minor customization issues, such as trouble sending text reminders for surgery appointments since the appointment time is required in the message, or the appointment configuration not letting us change the default to exclude the invoice document.

Overall experience has been great. We originally were with Vetter (and happy). Then DSV purchased Vetter, and there wasn't great customer service yet. The recent past, customer service has been revamped with chat options and service in the USA which we really appreciate. Customer service is now awesome!

Pros

The best part for our clinic is being fully integrated with our schedule, timeclock, patient charts, labs, client communication, billing and card payments.

Cons

I would like the ability to have an app format for the client text inbox to give our staff a push notification when a text is left after hours. We are rural and don't have an emergency clinic, so we try to help our patients after hours when needed. We are still trying to find the right solution.

Overall experience has been predominantly positive. DaySmart has added a lot of innovative add-ons that have really helped our overall daily work flow.

Pros

Very user friendly and easy to learn. I appreciate the addition of the learning module, as well as consistent updates trying to continually improve things.

Cons

Unfortunately with every update, there tends to be a glitch with coding, that causes additional issues.

Pros

(Still using Daysmart Vet). It is a fairly intuitive program and if there are any issues, support is awesome and responsive!

Cons

Some of the help articles aren't really as helpful as they could be. Most of the time I just ask to be connected to the live chat.

It makes my job 10x easier every day. Im constantly bouncing between the features and trying to learn new things with it. If only my life was scheduled as easily.

Pros

Honestly its a very powerful program. The more i dig into it the more i enjoy it. Customer support is always helpful for me.

Cons

My appointment colors dont always transfer to where i put them in my settings and there are many different ways to do things so it makes it somewhat hard to train new people

Pros

DaySmart vet offers fast customer service, constantly going above and beyond to fix bugs/issues and constantly offering updates and improvement.

Cons

My least favorite thing is DaySmarts medical notes can be hard to navigate through sometimes. Also finding previous migrated information can be challenging.

Great customer service from the start.Have been using for 5 years now. Easy to use software which was critical for me.

Pros

Easy to use. Saves notes as you go. Can be accessed with your phone. Creates automatic reminders. Great layout. Great customer service.

Cons

So far so good. I can't think of anything I don't like. There are probably way more applications that I haven't even used but that's on me.

4/5! It will be 5/5 if we can categorize tasks based on priority, multitask in one patient chart instead of following the rabbit trail window to window when we have to bounce back for information which cuts the flow of information efficiency and finally the equipment cataloguing as mentioned above. Otherwise, nice product, easy to use on the road and VIP human support!

Pros

The support staff specifically \[sesnsitive content hidden\] who helped me today- she listened and was great help -I appreciated her feedback on the Equipment monitoring design.

Cons

Need ability to sort tasks based on priority | Need equipment cataloguing system that is robust enough to create reminders for repairs, take notes, etc. I've developed my own using Patients (equipment, IT) under Owner (me JTS Systems Support).
