Overall it has been a pretty good experience! Support is attentive, and the program itself is user friendly and always evolving!

Pros

(Still using Daysmart Vet). It is a fairly intuitive program and if there are any issues, support is awesome and responsive!

Cons

Some of the help articles aren't really as helpful as they could be. Most of the time I just ask to be connected to the live chat.

### "Don't knock it till you try it."

Worlds better than Digitails as we can have a mixed practice online. Cornerstone is so difficult to get online. I am happy with the flow this software gives our clinic.

Pros

The IT staff are always working to help explain anything I do not understand. The program is online so I can work from home or mobile.

Cons

There are some things I would like to see added. Deleting multiple letter under one patient. Texting multiple numbers under one account.

We are a mixed practice and Digitail is small animal only. They also did not transfer our patient files over properly so we had corupt files. We had to find all the errors and pull from Cornerstone because they were not helping.

Great customer service from the start.Have been using for 5 years now. Easy to use software which was critical for me.

Pros

Easy to use. Saves notes as you go. Can be accessed with your phone. Creates automatic reminders. Great layout. Great customer service.

Cons

So far so good. I can't think of anything I don't like. There are probably way more applications that I haven't even used but that's on me.

For the cost and experience it has been the best cloud based software I have used! Easy plans based on the number of users.

Pros

The online support is always very helpful and each representative is always professional and follows up quickly

Cons

They are still in the process of updating functions and I wish there were some reporting functions that were more readily available.

### "All In One Software for Veterinarians"

Overall experience has been great. We originally were with Vetter (and happy). Then DSV purchased Vetter, and there wasn't great customer service yet. The recent past, customer service has been revamped with chat options and service in the USA which we really appreciate. Customer service is now awesome!

Pros

The best part for our clinic is being fully integrated with our schedule, timeclock, patient charts, labs, client communication, billing and card payments.

Cons

I would like the ability to have an app format for the client text inbox to give our staff a push notification when a text is left after hours. We are rural and don't have an emergency clinic, so we try to help our patients after hours when needed. We are still trying to find the right solution.

We just started using it and so far it’s been great. We’ve had some hiccups but sorted it out with the help of customer support.

Pros

It’s easy and the customer support is great. The setup was good. Once you start using it, you’ll see how easy it is to use.

Cons

Nothing so far. Still on our trial but it’s been smooth so far with the customer support to help you along the way.

Always positive experiences, their tech team are ready to help with setup and afterwards. Great software and app.

Pros

The ease of use... how user friendly it us for us and our clients. The cloud base software makes managing patients easy.

Cons

Rarely it has a glitch for up to an hour, but nothing serious with use. Sometimes the page is slow to load, but I think that's more our internet speed problem than the software.

4/5! It will be 5/5 if we can categorize tasks based on priority, multitask in one patient chart instead of following the rabbit trail window to window when we have to bounce back for information which cuts the flow of information efficiency and finally the equipment cataloguing as mentioned above. Otherwise, nice product, easy to use on the road and VIP human support!

Pros

The support staff specifically \[sesnsitive content hidden\] who helped me today- she listened and was great help -I appreciated her feedback on the Equipment monitoring design.

Cons

Need ability to sort tasks based on priority | Need equipment cataloguing system that is robust enough to create reminders for repairs, take notes, etc. I've developed my own using Patients (equipment, IT) under Owner (me JTS Systems Support).

The troubleshooting agent took the time to see my view point on how it was working and was able to effectively communicate that to the team who ultimately worked on the concern.

Pros

The issue I encountered was addressed and resolved quickly. Examples were provided of how the systems operates in the background and verifications were made to ensure the setup I wanted for my automatic forms was going to work for our clinic.

There were no notable issues with this interaction.

Pros

How accessible it is to you when your not at your work computer.

Not many training videos to train folks on. Especially folks in different roles like inventory management.

Pros

Very user friendly, and the support has been phenomenal. Makes managing my busy hospital so much more organized.

Cons

It is a bit pricey converting to Canadian dollars. However, my account manager was able to help accommodate pricing as much as possible.

It can a lot of clicks to get where you want to go, but there are new updates always coming out which help.

Overall in the last 8 years of working with it, its an easy simple system. Most new users are able to use the system and if not they can do walk throughs or get help from the AI or tech crew.

Pros

The awesome support from their tech crew, how easy it is to integrate other systems like our blood machines and such into daysmart/vetter.

Cons

What I like like is the inability for the text inbox from clients to not end up under the client profile for communication purposes

I appreciated the prompt help support and ability to chat live with a support agent. Given how busy my day is, I don’t have time to sit on the phone oh hold to get my questions answered, so the text live with an agent was really helpful.

Pros

Regarding the online help support, I was able to chat quickly with support about my issue I was having and receive feedback that was helpful.

Cons

None, I did not feel that there was any con to the support feature. It gave me the option for an AI support to to talk live to an agent.

It was rough in the beginning with learning new software but has overall been a great experience!

Pros

I love that I am able to instantly chat with support, email support and the response time is amazing! If they do not have an immediate answer, or something the software does not currently provide, they take the time to research and find ways to get you the results you are looking for!

Cons

Would love to be able to combine some reports that they are currently not able to provide. I can get the information but have to pull a few reports.

DaySmart Vet has been an extremely useful system for our clinic. It makes inventory, client communications, and patient care accessible and easy!

Pros

Easy to use software. The ability to customize documents for our clients is wonderful! It is also very convenient to have a web-based browser. Any time I have any question or need help with a problem, the support team has always been extremely helpful.

Cons

There are very few things I dislike about DaySmart Vet. Honestly, I would just like there to be a few more reports available at the end of the year to save me a few steps, but the information is easy enough to find what I need.

I can’t say enough good things about the Support Staff, they are superb and have multiple methods to contact them for help. They are quick to respond and always provide expert service.

Pros

DaySmart Vet aligns perfectly with the AAHA-VMG chart of accounts for practices participating in benchmarking programs where they need their data organized in this fashion. I love how easy it is to gather quarterly information from the reports, and the filters are intuitive and help you drill down to the info needed. I appreciate that the reports can be exported to Excel.

Cons

I’m still hoping for a “bulk update” enhancement to make it easier to move items in bulk from one category to another, currently the process is very labor intensive when you have a lot of items to move.

We are very happy to switch from fully paper to the digital software. DaySmart staff has helped us with every question along the way and we’re less than a year in and feel very comfortable with the process.

Pros

The ability for the software to help manage the hospital as well as the patient and client information.

Cons

With any software there are system errors, fortunately we have not had many, but those would be the only major complaints.

Pros

It's easy to learn how to use DaySmart Vet. Within a shift or two new staff are able to go the basics they need.

Cons

I don't like how I cannot manually change the name of a service. For example surgery is charged by time so it's listed as "Sx Misc 15 Minutes"- when I use this for a mass removal it would be helpful if the line item name could be changed to Mass Removal, adding a not to the line item just seems to confuse the clients.

Thanks for the review! Regarding changing the name of a service - your administrators CAN create any service names as inventory items and you can have a separate display name. If you wish to further extend this, inventory items can have uses which are the same item with a different name/price. While uses are typically used for vaccines, they could just as easily be applied to services and list specific names you regularly use

Fully comprehensive system and easy to use, encompasses multiple tools in one

It cannot be used across multiple devices at the same time and also each item has to be added individually hence it takes a bit longer

Ease of use, user friendly. Customer service is always great, and quick to help and answer any issues

Cons

Glitches, needs more integrations. Petdesk integration has the most issues. But CSR's are very quick to resolve.

Overall, DaySmart Vet is the easiest to use veterinary charting platform that I have come across. It's constantly updating and taking in to account the needs of the users.

Pros

I like the ease of using the calendar for moving appointments, the layout of the client and patient pages, adding to the patient's chart, and I especially like the customer service associated with DaySmart Vet.

Cons

I wish there were easier ways to handle client billing issues.

DaySmart is a great for allowing us to manage our equine practice effectively and efficiently. The customer service is wonderful and so helpful! I definitely recommend other practices come on board!

Pros

Our equine practice has used DaySmart for years. The product is excellent for allowing our practice to manage our patient/client information and integrates wonderfully with the lab we use, allowing seamless test ordering and attachment of laboratory results. The customer support is amazing with DaySmart and everyone is so happy to help!

Cons

When I first began using DaySmart vet, I would have loved to have a general overview video explaining its features and capabilities to gain a better overall understanding of what it can do and what it can be used for and where to go for answers.
