Experience has overall been great. The team has always been able to help and have attended to any engineering request in a timely manner. They have solved all issues quickly and as straightforward as possible.

Pros

Customer service. They are very attentive and always ready to help out when the team is in need of help or clarification on the software. Also the clarity with which they approach requests.

Cons

I would like to be able to write reminders or messages in mass texts/emails to all of our clients.

Took some adjusting, but finding it very easy to use. One of my favorite parts is how easy it is to communicate with clients.

Pros

Easy to get around in the patients history. texting/emailing invoices is great.

Cons

I don't like when scheduling an appointment you have to know owners name. It would be so nice to locate by patients first name. Program runs slow when loading lab work

Great. It has been the perfect software for our mobile veterinary clinic. It has easily integrated with antech and so far, does everything we need.

Pros

The customer support is excellent. Ease of appointment scheduling and integration with antech. We love the reminders and tasks that we can assign to employees.

Cons

Our emails to clients through daysmart would initially go to spam and I had to make a domain email/update our domain to resolve that issue.

OUTSTANDING! I have been pleased with the entire process of learning the software, and implementing it. All of my questions have been answered and addressed with knowledge and professionalism.

Pros

I love this software. It has a clean easy to follow interface. The program is intuitive, and the training for the use of the product is outstanding. I love that supporrt/help is available 24/7 in so many different formats. I am so happy I made this choice!

Cons

It would be nice if files could be directly attached to emails from saved files/documents on the computer. It would also be nice if there were a spell check feature.

Overall, daysmart seems like a software that can be very good. It does need some fine tuning.

Pros

I like that daysmart has the ability to contact customer support through chat.

Cons

Daysmart does have a few hiccups, such as sending clients a lot of reminders that cannot be changed, only completely turned off.

Overall pretty good just wish things were more customizable for each clinic and there was less clicking

Pros

Still enjoy the fact that help support is there whenever I need them. I message them frequently and get a response almost instantly.

Cons

Unable to edit templates to not have headings with our logo- uses a lot of ink which isn't necessary

One thing would like better is when I print the End of the Day Detail report, the refunds reflect in the total whether it is cash, care credit or credit card.

So far so good. Some struggle adjusting to cloud-based program from a server based one.

Pros

I like the ability to easily switch between patients profiles and look at different information in different tabs.

Cons

Feels more client/owner based than patient based. When scheduling appointments have to know client first and last name before pet's which proves difficult sometimes.

Support group is great, quick questions answered. I have been using this for two weeks and have enjoyed the product!

Pros

Super user friendly. Great and quick support team. I like how easy it is to navigate the program and review services perform for each visit in my medical notes.

Cons

I haven't used the product long enough, but I would say I would like to see active diagnoses in the same place we see wellness services due/contact information.

I like it so far except some of the processes are not intuitive as though the programmers have never actually worked at a vet practice, which can make using the system more lengthy.

Pros

She was very patient as I was working on multiple things when I started the chat and she asked for screen shots and then sent one back which was incredibly useful for me to send to my sup to do what i needed

Cons

It is a new platform so sometimes it is hard for me to get back to the page I needed but I have found some solutions with the help desk!

Pros

If you have any questions or need to know how to do something in DaySmart there is ways a support person available to chat with. If they don't have the answer they will try to get the issue resolved with their back end team.

Cons

Some days DaySmart is slow. Don't like that you are unable to go back to the day that you were scheduling it just goes back to todays date (day).

### "Best Veterinary Record Keeping Software Out There"

Overall I love Day Smart and will continue to use it as my main and only software for records and appointments.

Pros

I love the ease of access and everything is straightforward and easy to edit. I love the auto-save features when writing records and the ease of scheduling. I also like that I dont have to use all features of the platform for it to function well.

Cons

I wish there were a better way to book two patients for the same client for the same appointment. I also wish that two-way texting was an automatic feature and that it was added to the monthly cost at a lower amount. Currently, the add-on feature is as expensive as the monthly fee, so you are paying twice. Support can take some time to get back to you but they do provide good feedback and instructions on inquires. I wish there was an integration with Square invoicing for records and I hope they start billing in Canadian dollars to the Canadian users.

Daysmart would be wonderful if it worked in all the areas we need. It doesn't and we don't know why. Sad, because if it did work it would be an amazing program.

Pros

Online access, no hardware to manage on our end except the tablet or laptop or phone.

Cons

Not phone friendly at all, reminders by text are a huge fail and daysmart says we have to report each error for any correction to this problem, we don't have time to do this. Statement amounts don't match invoice totals for the period selected in some cases. Again each error must be reported and that's something we don't have time to do. It will be easier for us to find another solution more reliable. Invoices are redundant, not necessary and cause problems. Inventory numbers are not accurate and no matter how hard we try they end up off for reasons that we don't understand. This may not be a problem with the software as much as a a lack of understanding on our part as the user with inventory numbers being off. However, if it is too difficult to understand then maybe a simpler solution is the answer.

We were offered a great price to be the first brick / mortar clinic to try Vetter - couldn't resist.

We started the service when it was called Vetter, and when we were comparing it with many other programs, we realized that it was developed properly to be used by veterinarians and not just made by coders that don’t really understand our daily flow and our needs as veterinarians. We have always been very pleased and treated very well by customer service, and the original Owner of Vetter. The transition to DaySmart was smooth without any hiccups.

Pros

Intuitive, easy for staff to learn, smart, always being updated, modern, integrated with many different services, easy to get help, well priced for all the things that we can do with it, I was improving.

Cons

A few features here in there that seem awkward, but that software developers are always keen to work on. We try to give feedback and ask questions when we have time, and we never have any problems.

Pros

DaySmart is a simple yet modern cloud based veterinary software. VERY easy to use! No unnecessary options, extra steps or complicated procedures. Inventory tracking and easy payment processing integration is very helpful in our busy hospital. Help desk chat option is also a great addition.

Cons

I would like to be able to do the returns to the credit card on the same day without the card present. Help desk is very helpful, yet there isn't always an agent available and I don't usually have time for a phone consult (as an admin manager I help out up front a lot).

CUSTOMER SUPPORT- ZERO. I cannot even tell you how many times we have had to call with issues over the last year of my new startup practice and how almost every single individual has to elevate the concern to the development team, and can never provide an answer with the issue. And we're talking for SIMPLE things that should not be problematic. Like marking up prices of drugs. How is it that the minimum price set is not added to whatever we make the cost per tablet of a medication. In other words, if we make the minimum cost $15, and the cost of the tablet $0.10, instead of making the price $15.10, it makes it $15. These problems make no sense, and its not something that is crazy to improve, they are basic necessities that Daysmart has just done wrong. We've had problems with estimates not showing ranges accurately (several times), we had issues with reminders not being sent to clients showing that vaccines were due, and an employee told me it was because I did not have my integration turned on, but this is false because you do not need an outside program to send reminders. I have emailed them so many times I have lost track, and no response. At this point I am seriously considering switching my PIMS because the lack of customer service is just abyssmal

### "Easy to use, intuitive, customer service has been challenging recently "

Daysmart is my teams first experience with a cloud-based PIMS system. The transition was smooth to me but hard for some of my change-resistant team members. We seemed to have settled into it well after about 1 year though a few of my team seemed very comfortable with it within 2 months. I am overall happy with it and really would not have had anything negative to say about it until 4 months ago when our customer service issues began. I wouldn’t have even considered changing softwares until then.

Pros

When I chose DaysmartVet (then it was called Vetter), I chose it because of its user friendly interface. I have a varied staff from young to almost retirement age that need to use the software heavily and I needed it to be robust enough to do what I needed but also easy enough to understand/learn for our entire team. I think that part is wonderful, I have new team members who pick up the software rapidly without too much trouble. The hyperlinks within each page are nice to jump back and forth between different parts of the software needed. Just starting using the app a few months ago and I think that is working out okay too.

Cons

I least like the customer service lately. I felt that it was helpful before and the customer service members I spoke with in the past would be able to assist me as well as to check in to make sure my issue has resolved. In the past 6 months or so, I have felt abandoned and ignored by the help desk team. It would be nice if when using new features they would be more attentive to help set it up instead of just pointing to the help articles. Some of those articles help but if I’m going to them with a question it is usually because the articles did not cover it or were confusing.

We can keep track of uses on invoices so we can get proper payment for inventory on hand. I like the ease of creating and closing invoices. Keeping track of inventory is some what better, still depends on entering and use. Still learning about the uses in the inventory and how to set up the item.

Pros

It is relatively easy to use. If you need assistance their help team is amazing. There are several ways to access different screens like billing and payments, etc.

Cons

Sometimes things are not clear and are confusing but the help team can walk you through these times of misunderstanding. I have come across different changes and needed helpeither accessing or learning to utilize the change.
