It's a tool our business truly can't live without. We were down for a day or two during the upgrade (our old Act software was super old...lol) and it was like we were working with one hand tied behind our backs.

Pros

Customer Support was wonderful, we upgraded to a current version and had some hiccups. But I got assistance right away!

Cons

Still to slow, may have to look at the size of our database. I find going to lookup contact from the calendar extremely slow.

I like the ability of creating custom tables for me to capture more information for my business. As well as associate items to a particular contact.

Cons

I would like the ability of using the custom tables to gather information as associate it with other items in ACT. I believe if act allowed the ability of creating a custom entity like a list of properties that would be wonderful.

They are always friendly and helpful and the system work well for tracking the information we need access to.

Pros

It is a fairly easy to use system and customer assistance is great. It works well for what we need at our business.

Cons

For us, we use some of the systems they set in place in a different way and sometimes it can be hard to work around the presets for the systems. We have worked with customer support to make the system work better for us.

I have been using ACT since it was a Win3.1 product. Over the years it has continued to evolve with various owners at the helm, but continues to fulfill its core purpose for us.

Pros

Simple interface which keeps important data and history easily accessible. Not too flashy and not too buggy.

Cons

Continually upgrades over the years. If something isn't broke I would prefer it be left alone. I don't need my CRM to do everything just keep my pipeline organized.

Pros

Task and calendar integration — Helpful for staying organized with appointments, reminders, and follow-ups. Customization — Users can tailor fields, layouts, and workflows to fit their business. Email tracking and history — Keeps communication tied directly to client records.

Cons

Slowdowns, syncing problems, or database issues as contact lists grow. Complicated setup and maintenance — backups, updates, and database management could become frustrating.

I like the cloud base version, it is helpful using the mobile version as well. Support has been good

Pros

one place to store all our data and use of scanning adding customers in , as well as adding documents

Cons

i can't easily look up machines i have sold by model or state. I can only email through out using the primary email address no secondary. Queries are hard to figure out how to create

Nothing but excellence. The customer service and the tech service is second to none as well. I can't imagine not having ACT.

Pros

It's everything to me. I love it, have used it for 20+ years for both personal and business. It keeps me organized, it keeps me on task, it keeps my calendars in sync.

Cons

Nothing truthfully. I think each different aspect inside the contacts, the calendars, the to do listing, are great.

CSR was fine to work with. Answered my questions and got my system serial number returned to me so I could access my info.

Pros

Customer data access and ease of reports and info. Customizable fields relevant to my needs. 123456789

Cons

Just need a laptop version. My previous version did everyhing I need. Dont like the $30 monthly fee to access my data. Dont need support and frills.
