It's easy to customize. I'm not an expert at building websites, so this makes things easy to get started without worrying about the plugins on wordpress.

Pros

I like that I can create a directory without needing all the plugins like I would if I used WordPress. Saves a lot of time

Cons

I wish we could add multiple websites to our account without having to purchase a new plan. Each BD plan is standalone, which means more investment for you if you want to run 2 websites or more.

Great! The customer service seems to be helpful. I've been receiving some newsletter and usually newsletters are junk to me but not from Brilliant Directories which I was surprised.

Pros

I love how I can start a website with businesses already on the website and those businesses can also claim their pages.

Cons

There so much to do with Brilliant Directories that I would never run out of ideas. I do however want to see more video tutorials about what more it can be used for.

Account setup was super easy. Learning how to use the platform wasn’t as difficult as some others I use. In my opinion, this will be my go to platform.

BD is an amazing platform. The process it takes you use are seamless and very user-friendly. One of the top platforms I use for my business.

I have been using the tool for a short time, but I keep finding more features that are very useful. It is clear that it is a very mature tool, where a lot of work has been done on both the technical side and the related business side. My plan has been to create a free public directory and then monetize it through advertising and donations, and the tool has supported all of this easily. Also, if I had wanted to start, for example, by charging businesses directly, I could have done that very easily because the tool has those features integrated. It has so many options that I don't even know how to use them, but I started with the basics, and over time I will integrate new functionalities as I need them.

Pros

What I like most about Brilliant Directories is that I have a team that is constantly supporting my activities: there are regular webinars to clarify doubts and show new features, there is very good documentation, and the technical support team is always willing to help. The team is constantly creating resources that make it easier for us to build our sites and turn them into a truly profitable business.

Cons

At the beginning, it has a somewhat steep learning curve, although by following the various video tutorials and documentation available in the tool itself and on the website, as well as using the support chat, the time is reduced.

It’s definitely a learning curve as everything in life but I love that you would deal with the headache of other methods building directories like Wordpress which I tried for many years and it was just a headache, can not believe why took me so long to find BD.

Pros

At first it’s intimidating for no developer person but I really love that they provide with lots of tutorials and constant webinars, that really make it easy to follow

Cons

I would love to see the new design / front end themes capabilities that they said it’s coming along now that the rest of the back end it’s pretty robust

Intuitives Tool, mit allen Funktionen, die wir für unsere Community-Plattform benötigen. Membership-Pläne, E-Mail-Marketing Tool, Blog-Funktion, digitale Produkte u.v.m. sind in Brilliant Directories standardmäßig integriert. Weitere nützliche Features wie beispielsweise ein Community-Board können über Add-ons einfach integriert werden. Sehr umfangreiche Dokumentation, großes Tutorial Archiv und ein tolles Support-Team ermöglichen selbst Anfängern das schnelle und unkomplizierte Aufsetzen einer eigenen Community-Plattform.

Pros

Brilliant Directories bietet alles, was wir für unsere Online-Community-Plattform benötigen. Das Tool ist komplex und dabei sehr intuitiv zu bedienen. Überzeugt hat uns auch das tolle Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Darüber hinaus ist Brilliant Directories DSGVO-konform.

Cons

Das Design der Templates wirkt etwas altmodisch (alle Vorlagen können allerdings individuell angepasst werden).
