Pros: Clean website presentation.

I have nothing else to add to this, but I am writing this out to meet the 100 character requirement. You should probably add this comment to the cons for my experience. I recommend removing the minimum character requirements here.

Cons: 1. No phone based helpline. It makes getting assistance very cumbersome and tied to typing out questions in chat or via email. I believe this makes it harder to communicate the issues that need addressing.
2. No way to enter events that have occurred in the past without technical assistance. This means I can't go back in time easily to capture volunteer events that happened prior to purchasing the software.

Pros: The VolunteerMark team is always accessible. I can communicate my questions or suggestions. They truly want to help and make the product work for our organization. I love that all of our volunteer opportunities can be showcased online and that we can manage that easily.

Cons: There are a few enhancements that I know are in the works. For example, we would like to have a "Pending" option when a volunteer applies for a volunteer opportunity. This would allow the volunteer that we received their interest, but we are in the process of reviewing, interviewing them, etc. before we can actually "Accept" them in the volunteer role.

Recommendations to other buyers: I encourage you to just try the software out. See how it compares to your current systems in place and what you can do with it to further enhance your volunteer management efforts.

Pros: The People at VoluteerMark! Especially the founder who went out of his way to customize and make sure all of our needs were met and all of the obstacles and special circumstances could be accommodated.

Cons: Nothing that I can think of. The process was seamless and so easy to implement.

Recommendations to other buyers: As a consultant I evaluate so many different options for the needs of my different clients. My experience with VolunteerMark was one of the BEST I've had so far. I wish they all worked as seamless!

Pros: This product is very intuitive to learn and use, has good tutorials, and the support team is very responsive. The one stop "marketplace" for volunteers has been a great idea and useful to us and our volunteers. The blog's ideas on best practices and how to recruit, retain and inspire volunteers has been helpful to me as a volunteer coordinator.

Cons: It's hard to incorporate our older, non-computer literate volunteers.

Recommendations to other buyers: They have a free 30-day trial that gives you a chance to play with the product and see if it will work for your needs.

Comments: VolunteerMark has taken the scheduling of volunteers to a whole new level for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. They are great to work with, open to new ideas to improve their product and service, timely in addressing issues, and have new features that are introduced regularly. Our volunteers find it easy to use and our staff does as well. Switching to VolunteerMark has saved our organization time and money. The impact it has made on the Volunteer Program is evident just after a few short months of using VolunteerMark. It is easy to set up volunteer opportunities, keep track of volunteers and communicate with our volunteer base from the website. We are excited to see what great, new things VolunteerMark will continue to do in the future!

Comments: The HALO Foundation uses VolunteerMark to help our volunteers to easily get involved with our mission. As opportunities arise, we simply add the description of what help we need on VolunteerMark, and then share it in our newsletter and through our social media posts. So easy to communicate! Plus, it's user friendly for the nonprofit manager.

Comments: Before we partnered up with VolunteerMark, we found ourselves swamped in excel documents and sheets of paper. We tried to develop a scheduling software to alleviate the stress and problems, but nothing really worked. Then we met VolunteerMark and it was a life-changer. To be able to easily schedule, communicate and organize our outings and volunteers in one software application made everything so much easier and efficient. Just a great technology.
