The first recruiting software I've ever used, and I wouldn't consider switching to anyone else.

Pros

The ability to stay organized in the recruiting process, and communicate with all of our athletes from a centralized location.

Cons

If the input fields are not made concise enough, it can be a lot to sort through to find the information needed.

I would describe my overall experience with Front Rush as frustrating. Took me awhile to hear back from customer service and then had my contract automatically renewed at a higher price. Since you cannot cancel mid contact, I am stuck paying for a service I do not want.

Pros

Not much. I cannot think of any Pros that can't be done through text messaging and an excel sheet.

Cons

I would not recommend Front Rush. The cost is very high compared to what it can do. When you try to pull from NCSA, Front Rush does not copy over phone numbers so you have to go back in manually and add numbers to every recruit. Front Rush also does not show new names in order of when you added them. I was able to get on calls with Customer Support after sending multiple emails asking for help but they were unable to assist. You also cannot cancel whenever so you spend hundreds of dollars to input NCSA contact information yourself.

Reasons for choosing Front Rush

It was the service being used by the previous staff so I kept it. I will be canceling it as soon as possible.

Pros

Front Rush allows coaches to keep track of their recruits and current roster. You can upload names from a tournament directly into their system, mass communicate with your team or recruits, add notes about your prospective athletes, etc...

Cons

I think the idea of Front Rush is better than the real thing. Reporting tools are very difficult to put together, even organizing a list of students is difficult, and you can't wrap text for your notes (so your note just goes into a long, endless line instead of a neat box). Everytime I try to filter the list of potential recrtuits for a sport, my results come up empty. I can't get all of the previous year's recruits out of the way so I can help coaches focus on their current priorities

Very smooth, great customer service, and an overall good product for what we need.

Pros

What I like the most is organization it provides to coaches when recruiting. Gone are the days of excel files and printing hard copies of recruiting profiles. Being a collegiate coach has evolved over the years and in order to maximize your team, you must be organized. When you're organized, you will be able to get more productive work accomplished. It is a very user friendly software and I would recommend it to many coaches.

Cons

I least like that when I add a recruit from a recruiting software such as NCSA, not all of the information goes to front rush. Often times things like intended major are left off and then I manually have to go back in to complete it. This isn't the end of the world of course but hopefully in the future the software can communicate better with one another.

Pros

How I am able to keep track of conversations and interactions with recruits. It makes communication between coaches on the same staff easier as well because I can see notes what they talked about, how they played, etc. The fact that Front Rush is able to pair with admissions software now as well takes it to a whole new level. Great addition!

Cons

The "Duty Board" on the front gets crowded and post of the time contains things that I don't need to see or do. I would rather the front page be more organized or be able to be personalized.

Cost effective and it's ease of use. I have been working and familiar with FR contact management solution for six years now and still very impressed.

Cons

Not able to print the notes. I want to be able to print the notes out not in Excel format or Report format fashion.
