### "Excellent proposal workflow tool, but pricing and advanced editing should be reviewed"

April 30, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about is how it removes friction from the proposal process. In practice, teams can use templates, content libraries, approvals, pricing tables, and e-signatures instead of manually editing Word or PDF files. For example, this reduces errors, shortens turnaround time, and improves close rates.

Cons

What I liked least about is that some advanced formatting or pricing table edits can feel restrictive. Pricing may also become less attractive for small teams or lower proposal volumes. In more customized sales environments, setup discipline is important.

### "Efficient Proposal Builder for Businesses"

September 16, 2024

4.0

Overall, this platform has been the backbone of my department with creating a positive digital impression of how our team presents packages to potential clients. Being a part of a digital marketing firm, having our best foot forward digitally has increased our authority in our market.

Pros

I enjoy the ability to create templates and streamline my proposals. Having a built out system to continually turn around proposals efficiently has helped me win more deals.

Cons

Sometimes the formatting of terms and conditions and table building for pricing can be a bit glitchy when copy & pasting new terminology or updating pricing.

### "Customer service is everything!"

September 12, 2024

4.0

Overall, I am happy with . The customer service makes a HUGE difference. And our contact, \[sensitive content hidden\], goes above and beyond to help us. If it were not for the amazing customer service, we would not have renewed our contract.

Pros

I like how user-friendly it is. It's easy to pick up and learn how to use it. This makes it easier for some of our less tech-savvy colleagues.

Cons

Copying and pasting from Word into . Most of our account reps work on their own financial documents in Microsoft Word. When they copy and paste it into Proposify, it looks terrible. Extra spaces added, and bullet points don't transfer. It's a headache to go back and clean up. This discourages my colleagues from using Proposify.

### "Wowza Proposals!"

May 16, 2025

5.0

helped me (maybe it was more like I helped Proposify do the work...) create effective and powerful proposals. We went from boring, hum-drum business "letters" to full-colour, wowza proposals without much training at all! It's a great product and the built-in document management/signatures is very cool.

Pros

was extremely easy to use. I used it primarily for business proposals and the flexibility that it offered in terms of placing graphics within text boxes made the job simple and effective. The document tracking was kind of cool, too!

Cons

There wasn't much that I didn't like. We had a one year plan and while I thought that the cost was reasonable, upper management disagreed!

I have enjoyed using it and have never had any problems that I can't get an answer for.

Pros

It's very user-friendly and easy to add slides. It's easy to adjust tables or pricing or anything that I need to change.

Cons

I don't like it when new updates are made. but that's not a big deal. I know adjustments and improvements are important.

### "Proposify Is Worth Checking Out - Great Product!"

September 11, 2024

5.0

Very positive and now since I have several years of use under my belt, plus client feedback on their appreciation for the quality of our responses, it makes us feel great in using the product to attain overall high success.

Pros

I like the product's overall capability to help with producing very professional looking proposals - it has been very nice to use.

Cons

Wish that there was a Window's like undelete feature, just in case something is edited that you want to backtrack on. A bit unforgiving in that area.

### "Best Product I have used so far"

September 16, 2024

Pretty good.. like it better than using google sheets or MS Word.

Pros

I love the way you can build pricing tables and templates into a proposal. Then you can customize even further with added personalization.

Cons

It gets a bit wonky with cache with your PC-- so you have to refresh reguarly to make sure things are saving. Then it takes some learning to know where to click with you mouse to drag/drop and open menus.

We love and recommend it to our clients.

Pros

The ability to send out proposals and also track client viewing time.

Cons

Editing is a little clunky, its getting better, but still not as seamless as MS word or other word editing software. Also, it would be great if there could be an administrator role that can "sign" for the proposals instead of waiting for the consultant that was listed as signatore.

### "Typically, users may track the effectiveness of their sales staff by receiving metrics from Proposify."

November 14, 2023

5.0

To assist users in creating and sending proposals quickly, offers a large selection of pre-made templates.

Pros

My proposals seem more official and are simpler to follow when I use . The customer service team is superior to the tool itself, even though it is still amazing. Knowledgeable, professional, and enjoyable to work with, they are ready to assist at any time. Proposify offers guaranteed privacy because they protect user data with cutting-edge security methods. Our remote team finds it simple to maintain consistency among the several estimates we utilize, and we can monitor the status of each estimate from a single dashboard.

Cons

Even with the abundance of customization possibilities, there is always opportunity for further integrations and customization choices. While 's design function has a rather intuitive user interface, there are a few glitchy controls that frequently call for page refreshes or other awkward workarounds.

### "A Proposal tool for big kids"

October 5, 2016

5.0

I love this thing and use it all the time. Before I got this program I was shuffling through Word docs on my computer and constantly rewriting brand new proposals for each prospect. helped me streamline my process for kicking out really great looking proposals. The absolute best part of the whole tool is how it allows each party to e-sign the contract right inside the program. Really handy and beats the pants off asking someone to print, sign, scan, and send back. It's the real deal and honestly I couldn't go back to send someone a pdf from my word doc or whatever. This is way better. http://www.signal-interactive.com

Pros

I save all my different versions of proposals and can mix and match different sections as needed for each client. Helps to have a library of sections, different contracts, etc. The delivery, editing, and signing is all in one place. It sends us both a PDF version with signatures to file after closing. Uses great code snippets to automatically fill in the client name, the cost, etc to make each one somewhat custom. I get notified in my email when my prospect views the proposal (which is exciting). It looks a lot more professional when they get the nice designed email with a button to click and the proposal deck is laid out with a nav bar. Takes you from minor leagues (with silly word docs or PDF attachments) to big leagues, especially as a digital agency.

Cons

It's definitely not a design tool so I have a hard time getting the layout and design of the proposal to look the way I want. It's fairly limited in what it can do in that respect so we build pieces (images) offline and then paste the image into the proposal sometimes. Otherwise, for what it is, it's pretty good at helping me put together a good looking proposal. It's just not an Adobe product or anything. The way content pieces in the library are saved and edited is somewhat confusing and I've struggled to replace everything after deleting templates and then losing content pieces.

### "The best way to present proposals to clients!"

December 3, 2016

5.0

As the owner of a Digital Agency in a crowded marketplace, it's important to be better at every opportunity. allows us to do that. It's made with the creative industries in mind and has a pretty nice default contract in place that can be used. Of course, as per all contracts, it's important to get it checked/re-written by a professional to make sure it's 100% legal and enforceable. Proposify gives a decent depth of analytics on user behavior from the moment they open your proposal. They also track the proposal journey through to the client and allows the option to add an auto follow up to non-signed/opened proposals. Clients always comment on how much they love how easy it is to digitally sign our proposals/contracts and some have even incorporated Proposify in their business. Proposify allows you to create different proposal templates. We use this feature to have a proposal for each of our services and then we just tweak the scope of services to the individual client's requirements on the fly. All of a sudden, a proposal that looks like it took over an hour is out the door in 10 minutes. The early bird catches the worm and Proposify makes it so we can close deals faster. The only thing very slightly negative regarding Proposify is the pricing. It's certainly one of the most expensive platforms we pay for on a monthly basis however it isn't unaffordable. It may be a bit of a stretch for a small business to pay for regularly and the 5 proposal limit on the lower plan is quite restrictive for the price. They used to offer 10 proposals for that price which seemed much better value to me, however, they're constantly updating, improving and adding integrations and they're a business after all so need to bring the revenue in. All in all, don't hesitate, just sign up! You won't regret it.

Pros

Integrations. Looks. Functionality. User Friendliness.

Cons

Pricing but it's not too bad.

### "Proposify for small business sales proposals "

October 2, 2018

4.0

Pros

The ability to track current and pending proposals that have been submitted and to see where each client is spending the most time in the proposal.

Cons

The lack of integrations. As far as we have been able to utilize the Podio integration does a great job updating it's own app but as soon as you try to incorporate internal data it gets jumbled. The problem here is that it cannot auto relate to an existing project and a project must be created before we can set up the proposal (as we must work out the pricing before creating the proposal). It could really use a clean up on the integration bit.

### "Clunky, difficult to use"

July 20, 2018

3.0

Pros

I like being able to have templates for the proposals that I can update quickly. The templates looked professional.

Cons

The software is very clunky and difficult to format. When adding information, the editor was constantly reformatting and it was not a good experience. It added so much time to creating a proposal, that it didn't make sense to use anymore. Maybe they've made updates, but I cancelled my subscription because of this.

### "Integrations and Options"

September 5, 2019

4.0

Utilizing has allowed us to speed up our project intake process getting more in the pipeline and spending time on things that make money instead of just busy work.

Pros

It was really important when we were selecting proposal software to have integrations and the ability to allow the client to make choices that didn't require that we adjust the proposal. gave us both. We use Freshbooks for invoicing and Asana for project management and it integrates with both! (unfortunately Asana is via Zapier only). It also lets us give options in the proposal for the client to pick things like # of years of licensing or change the amount of deliverables to get the final price they need. This cuts down on back and forth emails that frees us up.

Cons

I would love to be able to pay for the service on a monthly basis instead of quarterly. Not that it really changes anything in the grand scheme of things but it lets me better track our finances.

Bad. The tone of the guys is just awful. max 5 active proposals at any one time? What a stupid plan. Ugh. Such a great product with such great potential and such shortsighted execution.

Pros

Cons

Hi Lawry, thanks for taking a moment to leave us your feedback. If your monthly proposal volume exceeds what our Tall plan offers, you might see a better value by upgrading to one of our larger plans (unlimited active proposals start with our Grande plan). Grande plans also offer additional features to help you streamline your process even more like Client Input Forms, Custom URL, and standard integrations. But we definitely hear you, and if the Grande plan doesn't fit into your budget, then Proposify might not be the best fit for you and your proposal needs. ### "Worst App for Crashing and Bugs With Software Not Repaired"

April 23, 2020

1.0

Could be so good, but really far from where it needs to be. I would recommend switching to another product.

Pros

If bugs were fixed and the app was working properly it would be okay. I like that you are notified about proposals.

Cons

Slow, Buggy. Unable to search for contacts as it comes with a fault in the software. Unable to add duplicate contact emails. Website crashes often and not easy to edit templates. ### "Worst software ever"

December 5, 2019

1.0

The business problem I had hoped to solve was creating more efficiency with the proposal process. Instead I've inherited a new set of problems created by that is far worse.

Pros

It really does have the features my business needs. Their poor support staff is trained to be super nice, but they can't help the fact that they work for a bad product.

Cons

It is the buggiest software I have ever used. We are working against deadlines and literally every time I have to create a proposal, it loses functionality. I literally can't make the most simple edits. It just freezes up or arbitrarily removes things. It's maddening.

Reason for choosing Proposify

Qwilr lacked customization. I flipped a coing between and PandaDocs. Now, I've wasted so much time in Proposify and have to strongly consider a new learning curve with a superior product. This has been a nightmare.

We love the fact that what is being sent out is consistent as far as branding and language, that it is really easy for the prospects to read and execute, and that the salespeople actually use it!! It has been a great addition to our sales toolkit!

Pros

Our salespeople are delighted with . It has provided a professional, consistent, fast and easy way to submit proposals to prospects. It has also made it very easy for the prospects to respond and execute proposals. Our close rate on proposals has increased and I expect to see that continue.

Cons

### "Very poor quality product, Poor integrations, Poor proposal layouts that are inconsistent"

June 21, 2018

3.0

Cheap.

Pros

Cheap. Integrates with a lot of applications. Relatively flexible design. Mobile App is not bad.

Cons

\- Everything is set in Northern Virginia, US time and all notifications, dashboard timing is our of your time and makes it very confusing to use for us to track when we sent a proposal and when the customer received reminders. - The layout is very inconsistent and tables are constantly going over the text and images in PDF version when in the web version it was OK. And what you see in the system is different to what customer gets. Very frustrating. Especially with 2.0 version. - Support is useless and in chat replies on the next day, best case scenario and their replies are shot and more designed to get you off their back not to provide the solutions. - With version 2.0 our customers almost never serve the email and because it is sent via their server we could never track if the customer actually received it. - No ability to track bounced proposals. Basically you have to run blind. - CRM integration is horrible and creates a lot of duplicates in our CRM.
