I'd say once you have designed a few templates for your most requested services you'll be good to go! There are some generic templates which have some good meat but need some sprucing up and tailoring for your individual needs. I would definitely recommend Proposify to other business owners. Pros Gives a professional image when submitting proposals to clients. Covers all the legal wording with pre-templated options. Cons Can be slightly buggy at times but not enough to warrant non-use. Formating / designing your own templates from scratch is a bit overwhelming when starting out but becomes easier as time goes on. Having the right format and just making things look good. And sometimes we really don't know if the client actually sees the document with the right time or just pass it by. Proposify really removes these and lets you do the job quick and see the results right away. Pros Proposify is a great tool for having canvas for job proposals. You can basically have a template and just fill the info you need for sending your client a great deal. All of it it's customizable, so you can just change colors or add photos, whatever you like. Think of it as microsoft Word, but it other great functions. Like checking how much time does the client actually sees the proposal. It's perfectly adapted to 2016 business, but still keep options for in-between use (pdf download). The templates are very beautiful and professional. Some features related to word processing need to be improved, I believe it's a matter of time as improvements are made regularly. Cons The number one issue is the inability for more than one person to work on a proposal at the same time - when you do so, one person loses the work they've done when the other saves theirs. It's a nightmare if multiple team members need to view and edit a proposal. There are a number of other issues related to how the app is designed, formatting text in proposals, and bugs. When I began measuring that resource in terms of $$$, I quickly realized the waste. Why do I love Proposify beyond the professional image it portrays, the protection it offers with premade editable templates, at a glance organization of bids and a look-forward-to, easy to use platform? It saves me allot of time, and time is money! Not to mention I am winning more proposals than ever before. Pros See review. Cons The only issue I typically have is clicking into the editable windows. Have tried many over the years, but Proposify is the best, by a country mile. Overall it is a breeze to use, a few glitches, nothing major. Editing text could be smoother but I normally have Grammarly running and I think that could be causing issues, again, they are small. Overall, Proposify is excellent, well done to all involved. Look me up if you are ever in Galway. Also, I hope you are working on an app, if not, lets talk! Pros Ease of use, the sales pipeline, suggested content, the contracts, contract signing, impresses clients. Cons Could be easier to manage fonts, text editor could be improved. The software is easy to setup , and beyond easy to utilize on a day to do basis to send proposals. The value compared to others that I've tried is beyond fair, and the software has no bugs like some of its competitors. The only think I hope to see in the future is additional integrations with other SaaS . Besides that, Proposify gets a 5 stars in my book. With the content library, templates, and ability to add/delete sections changed our quoting timeframe from half a day to an hour. Not to mention made signatures and contracts easy and seamless Cons Little issues of moving the pricing tables and images, sometimes they are embedded, sometimes not. It depends and is frustrating. Cons Proposal templates are using A4 size. If you are in the US, you will need to do a good deal of manual work to turn templates into US-Letter size. Their support is not helpful: "I'm sorry to say that A4 is the international standard for page sizes. In order to make sure we're competitive in all markets, we have to make sure our templates are able to reach as many people as possible. August 31, 2019 5.0 Pros This software changed everything for us. I was making all our proposals on Google Docs and had no way to access analytics & options the way Proposify gathers for us. Cons I don’t like that once you sign, you cannot alter it. The signature you use is saved, so changing it can be a pain. Common practice for me is to always date my signature. Wish this could change. Pros I love the professional proposals we can create. It blows other proposals I’ve created out of the water. One awesome piece is the integration capabilities with our CRM and being able to accept payments from the proposals.
