The implementation process was very easy. Pros Fingercheck has been a game changer. We were stuck in the 1800's using a regular punch clock. Now using the facial recognition feature that Fingercheck has we are saving time and money. Cons So far there is nothing negative to report. Before using this, payroll took me almost a full day; now I can get it done in an hour. It's reliable and does exactly what we need it to do for a small team. Pros The best part is how the time tracking syncs automatically with the payroll. It saves me so much time because I don't have to enter data manually twice. I also really like the mobile app; it's very convenient for checking things on the go. Cons The setup process at the very beginning was a bit confusing, but once we got used to it, it was fine. Pros The platform itself is very easy to use, very user friendly you don't really need to have someone show you how to use it, has a ton of features. Cons I wish you could personalize it more, meaning adapting it to each user, but overall is good. It managed federal and state filings well and self-completed filings such as 941 or W-2 without additional assistance. This has helped me avoid the need to hire other compliance consultants. Cons There is one flaw in the accrual system for PTO in that it gives wrong hours whenever a shift is adjusted during entry. As mentioned before, paying subcontractors for labor can be tricky especially with such a rapidly moving industry like construction. FC makes the process much more manageable. Cons Oftentimes, I feel that the software can be slow to generate/run requested reports.
