It's very easy to report and edit time from inside the tasks. I also like how easy it is to create reports, the fact that it pulls custom variables from Asana is very helpful! Cons The time estimation feature could be better. I would like to see from a report, which tasks from an Asana project still have no estimation defined. I really appreciate the flexibility and ease of pulling helpful reports. Pros The UX is easy to learn and navigate. It's nice to have the chrome extension. Cons On other tools it's nice to be able to quickly type 1h (one hour) or 30m (thirty minutes). Get used to that on project management tools like Asana then switch to Everhour and then have to switch to the analog format. It would be nice to have both options. Pros It's very intuitive to use. It has the richest set of features of any time tracking app we've used with Asana. Cons I forget to stop the timer sometimes. Having an auto-stop feature based on x number of idle minutes or some other trigger that would make sense would be great. Excellent integration with Basecamp3 Pros The fact that i can use it to track hours for myself and my team both for billable and non billable items. That i can also use it to invoice, that i can pull detail reports for me, my staff and my clients with the right information so confidentiality stays in play and most importantly what brought me to Everhour, they integrate with Basecamp3 which is a MUST for me. The integration is seamless and EXACTLY what we needed. No other program offered it, even the others that integrate with BC the other integrations didnt work for us. Cons I don't have 5 team members using this yet and i probably won't for a long time. I don' t like paying for 5 although the price is worth what this product does for my company. " December 13, 2017 4.0 Pros The ability to stop and start the timer within Basecamp on your browser. It has an attractive layout which is easy to follow and the reporting looks good. Cons Having to sync and add projects to produce time sheets for clients. Lack of monthly retainer feature means that we have to do this function manually each month. Time rounding function rounds up and down instead of up only so some time is lost when a project's activity is rounded down. Cons I dislike that you can't edit time spent on a task in Asana (you can only add), and if you need to subtract time you have to go into the Everhour webpage. Good ability to set billing rates on a per user and per project basis. Cons The reporting feels a bit limited. Also would be nice to be able to format the .pdfs of the reports with more detail (headers, footers etc.). Also, not being able to do multiple currencies is almost a deal-breaker. Perhaps the ability to tag each project with a currency would be a simple way to implement currencies without changing the whole backend. Integration is perfect and we have never had any problems. Our team consists of four people who work mainly off-site and update their activities throughout the day. Pros Love the integration with Pivotal Tracker and that time is tied directly to tasks. Great for generating weekly/monthly reports with visibility into where time was spent. Cons Forgetting to stop the timer and closing the computer will cause the timer to continue running. The timer also stops automatically at midnight without a notification.
