If this cannot happen, he is proactive in bringing requests to the development team which are frequently actioned. Pros The customer support we receive is amazing. The product is intuitive and easy to use, it does exactly what we need and want it too. Cons I would like there to be a way of tracking invoices and payments within the student management system which could be attached to the individual student's record. Switched from [Canvas](https://www.capterra.com/p/127214/CANVAS/) Canvas is not suitable for registered training organisations. It was terrible to use with poor training and support. It did not do what we needed it to do and we found it impossible to be released from our contract. When we were we could not get our student and assessment record off the system in the format we needed. We have records which are practically useless in and excel spreadsheet format. From the initial contact with the Sales team who were happy to negotiate our package through to the onboarding and ongoing support - al included in the fee. There is very little else to pay (unless you want Cloud Assess staff to upload your material, then there is a modest fee). Pros It is a complete package that will fulfill our needs for both and LMS and SMS. V very modern program designed by experienced educators. Cloud Assess are very responsive with support and are constantly upgrading the platform. Cons At times I don't find some of the functions particularly intuitive. However, there is great support with Help, Online tutorials and account coach mentor. Once you are shown the tricks, there are countless very helpful and easy features to use. Could use some smoothing out as mentioned above, but otherwise a flexible platform that has significantly sped up enrolments and assessments. Pros Easy to understand interface that clearly shows all relevant fields on the home page. Takes some time to learn what each section is, but once you have that down you can easily breeze through it. Cons Not as many account management options as I would like - cannot reset student passwords, merge student accounts, edit email addresses/login after initial log on. Everything has to be redirected to either the student or Cloud Assess support. Would love to be able to manage these features directly for a quicker response time to student queries. The Dashboard is good. Pros Good assessing product. Trainers like it. Good lay out of assessments and unit resources. Cons The feedback pages for feedback could have a more advance editor to add bold typeface and larger font sizing if possible. When students need to submit videos there is a limit. Simple and user friendly interface is vital for student engagement. Cloud Assess was also good value for money compared to other LMS SaaS providers, is suitable for Australian VET and allow content sharing across multiple instances. I believe our company is considering the change away from the expensive one and onto Cloud Assess exclusively. Pros I can look up any of my trainees and see what they are working on and where they may need help Easy to use as a group and keep them in lock-step before progressing to fast for some. Cons It doesn't talk to other programs I use in terms of linked together but I believe this can be possible. CEO of RTO Education Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Assessments in one place" September 28, 2021 5.0 Overall it has saved us a lot of time and effort of printing and filing and keeping of paper copies (as per ASQA) requirements Pros The fact that it requires no printing whatsoever is a winner for us. Also, as it is controlled as to what version is currently active of each assessment template, there is no risk of assessor accidentally using an old version. Ease of ensuring ASQA compliance. Cons Some of the auto features are a bit clunky and pop up and sit in the way of the action you are trying perform and end up having to wait for the pop up to clear as it is in the way and the titles of the some of the menu options are a bit weird, for instance 'Intakes'...why did this change from course to intakes..it doesn't make sense Reason for choosing Cloud Assess We liked the look of it, the fact we could do away with printing as much, the version control to maintain compliance.
