Having full control over our content, how it is displayed and where is a benefit. Customer service and support is usually fast and efficient and any issues fixed quickly. Pros clean integration with our SMS, customer service, ease of use for all users - admin, trainers, students. Being able to have full control over our content and editing when needed. Cons often integration fails. 2 way integration would be so useful. Sometimes navigation, editing etc is very confusing - going around in circles to get to where you need to be. Journey view - this would benefit from having the units listed against the assessments and the outcome of units/assessments eg if a unit is marked CT, you cannot see this from Journey view. They always take the time to listen and accommodate our requests. Overall, the platform is easy to navigate for both students and teachers / assessors. Cons Assessment creation can be a bit clunky at times. It's getting better (AI creation, cloud-based saving etc) but still can be time consuming. The software can become a bit slow if you are on an assessment for a while, and the mapping does not seem to duplicate if you duplicate an assessment. Review Source PP Phil P. Could use some smoothing out as mentioned above, but otherwise a flexible platform that has significantly sped up enrolments and assessments. Pros Easy to understand interface that clearly shows all relevant fields on the home page. Takes some time to learn what each section is, but once you have that down you can easily breeze through it. Cons Not as many account management options as I would like - cannot reset student passwords, merge student accounts, edit email addresses/login after initial log on. Everything has to be redirected to either the student or Cloud Assess support. Would love to be able to manage these features directly for a quicker response time to student queries. I used Cloud Assess when I was a frontline worker and it was easy to get into and now as an assessor. Pros The way that tests and assessments are set up in the system. It's hard to give the students blank or new attempts at the tests. Cons Resetting failed attempts for tests. I've struggled to understand the difference between blanks and duplicates. The platform is fast and stable and the support is amazing. User experience (from my student's feedback) is that it is easy to navigate and intuitive to use. Pros From a trainer's point of view, Cloud Assess is intuitive and easy to use. It is easy to automate workflows, which can save hours of time and the support provided is exceptional. Cons It is a little pricy compared to competitors but is adaptable enough to be able to save countless hours of admin/trainer time if it is set up and used intelligently. I believe our company is considering the change away from the expensive one and onto Cloud Assess exclusively. Pros I can look up any of my trainees and see what they are working on and where they may need help Easy to use as a group and keep them in lock-step before progressing to fast for some. Cons It doesn't talk to other programs I use in terms of linked together but I believe this can be possible. Also, as it is controlled as to what version is currently active of each assessment template, there is no risk of assessor accidentally using an old version. Ease of ensuring ASQA compliance. Cons Some of the auto features are a bit clunky and pop up and sit in the way of the action you are trying perform and end up having to wait for the pop up to clear as it is in the way and the titles of the some of the menu options are a bit weird, for instance 'Intakes'...why did this change from course to intakes..it doesn't make sense Reason for choosing Cloud Assess We liked the look of it, the fact we could do away with printing as much, the version control to maintain compliance.
