Some companies fall off after the sale is made and here I find the ongoing support life cycle manager meets many expectations and beyond. Pros This is a fantastic tool for Small medium large and enterprise organizations by pre selling this product for many years and I use it internally to manage my IT assets as a product continues to evolve it makes it easier for me to leverage new technology and deploy it in my own fleet and for my clients. Cons The product itself is very good some of the licensing and pricing can be cumbersome but overall once you get beyond that the product services purpose above and beyond with lots of features you didn't know you need it. Pros SOTI MobiControl is one of most powerful mobile device management solution, and one thing that stands out about it is its comprehensive approach to managing mobile devices and endpoints across a wide range of platforms irrespective of firmware, OEM etc. its one in all and versatile solution to keep track of all end points across any organizations. Cons There have been reported cases of performance issue, initial pricing model and onboarding is always a limiting factor. limited reporting on some OS can also be an issue while choosing SOTI MobiControl. June 3, 2023 3.0 SOTI MobiControl helps us when it comes to asset management. Using this MDM, we can easily extract report, remotely access enrolled devices, manage applications, locate devices and other features. So overall, I guess it has been wonderful. Pros Their Location Tracing feature is simply amazing and very helpful. We've had concerns of missing android devices and theft, and we use this feature to help us locate where they are. You need to be able to trust your MDM software, and almost everything about my experience with SOTI made me not trust the software, or the company. Pros Has options for on-prem appliance. They are very quick to answer your emails and very knowledgable. They are very good at teaching you how to work with SOTI. Pros Being able to lockdown devices. Being able to remotely troubleshoot the devices. Being able to track and view device logs. Cons The initial setup takes some knowledge, especially if you want to add certain specific features. I wanted all devices to use a company logo as a background and that required some tweaking, but customer support was quick and knowledgable to help out with configuring it. Although not as simple to deploy as some other products (mostly is using Telnet), it does have outstanding Remote Control, and it is an extremely stable product. We have many very large deployment and it's been very easy to support. I recommend their training if you're planning to do the install; packaging the apps can be a little complex. But overall, great solution! Note that our experience so far as been mostly with the Windows Mobile operating system. Pros Not too expensive. Very complete and capable. Remote control very fast. Create apps, manage work controlled devices and remote access features all in the same software. Cons Difficult to navigate and not very many support documents available. Devices that are named one thing will revert to their default name with no warning or reason. Adding Windows 10 Pro devices requires quite the expertise, so I advise someone with little to no IT knowledge to stay away from this and let your System Admin tackle this one. Pros The features presented on the MDM were quite impressive. Cons A lot of issues with this. Some Android OS devices keep losing their assigned names and they would show offline when they are on and connected to WiFi with a working connection.
