Convene made it easy to share information, documents, and schedules with my colleagues, which made planning and managing events much smoother. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the convenience, efficiency, and functionality of Convene. Pros I loved using Convene! One of the best things about it was its ease of use. I was able to quickly and easily plan and manage meetings and events, which saved me so much time and hassle. The platform was user-friendly and intuitive, which was a major plus. Cons One of the things I liked least was the limited customization options. While there were some customization options available, I would have liked more control over the look and feel of the platform. We share documents and spend less on printing, sheets and ink, it is a software that has a high image resolution and good audio quality. Pros It is a good software to meet digitally with work members or clients, it is easy to create meeting invitations, the notifications are good, I like the digital whiteboard because we can write anything during the meetings, the audio quality is good, the system of surveys is excellent, shares the necessary documents digitally and ensures that our information is protected. Cons Without a drawback, it is a software that due to its ease of use allows rapid deployment between departments, there are few problems and the scheduled meetings have been positive. From setting the system up to rolling it out to users, Convene have supported us every step of the way. Response times to queries is impressive with workarounds/resolutions usually quickly found. The software has enabled preparation for Board meetings to be a quick process, saving time for other tasks during the day. Pros Great functionality, simple and intuitive to use. Convene has simplified my Board meeting preparation enormously. The ability to build an agenda, move items around (including attachments) is extremely easy and time saving. Convene's ability to export a pack of papers in a matter of minutes has saved me almost a full working day of preparation. With the onset of the pandemic, Convene was used for lots of different meetings, purely because of its functionality and speed of use. Cons I have encountered a couple of issues regarding the uploading of Excel spreadsheets and password protected documents. The former has mainly been resolved by ensuring a pdf of the document is prepared and uploaded. Users quickly became familiar with the software. The value of this investment really showed when we were forced into office closures with the onset of the Covid Pandemic in March 2020. Our business decision making was able to continue and function effectively due to the flexibility available through use of Convene. The biggest benefits are: savings in paper and print costs, saving in time spent producing and circulating meeting packs, ease of access to document library and previous meeting packs. Pros It was easy to implement and simple to learn how to use. We introduced Convene initially to improve the efficiency of non-executive Board & Committee meetings. Very soon after implementation the Governance team identified more areas for using the software and it is now used for multiple internal management & working group meetings / information sharing. Cons Nothing really. If we have had any problems, the service team have been very helpful. I can also see who has downloaded their papers. Pros There are some really good features such as review room which we now use instead of Sharepoint which was more difficult to use. Convene is intuitive and meeting packs can be created quickly without having to convert papers to pdfs as the system does it easily. We also have single sign-on so its easy to access.
