Pros

It has a lot of features and they ask for feedback from customers and implement those ideas based on the feedback. It's a good product for smaller companies.

Cons

The customer service isn't great. You don't have a dedicated rep. It makes it harder to get issues resolved in a timely manner. They continue to make cosmetic changes to how things look instead of fixing the real issues.

### "Great tool for managing OKRs, 1/1's, team feedback "

Overall - great - use it daily and track a lot of my people related things in 7Geese.

Pros

7Geese is a great solution for many things - particularly managing OKR's which is what was our driving motivation in moving from another provider to 7Geese. There are a few items which would make reporting easier, but for the most part, the OKR process is really easy and very dynamic and functional. I also manage my 1/1 agendas through 7Geese and this is generally a pretty straightforward way of having both manager and staff person easily keep track of items to be discussed and notes during the meeting. You can use a variety of pre-populated templates for feedback, or create your own. I use this function for a weekly update from my team. The main thing I wish for here is that it be able to be scheduled to go out with reminders when people haven't completed, but otherwise, this is also a great tool to get feedback and be able to respond within the platform. Reviews are a bit clunky, but this process has improved a lot in the last year. Since we like to do 360's, it can be hard as this functionality doesn't exist and you have to use a combination of review forms and/or feedback forms to complete. Support team responsiveness is great. Training videos are helpful. Overall, really love using 7Geese.

Cons

As noted above - reviews are clunky without an easy way to do 360's.

Reason for choosing Paycor

Atiim had tremendous OKR solution but lacked all the other elements we needed. 7Geese solved for most issues, even if some functionality wasn't as strong.

Overall experience has not been a positive experience. Customer service being at the forefront. We have a dedicated customer service relations manager, however, when raising concerns he has not resolved these and only directs back to our customer service contact.

Pros

1) I do like that there are a variety of options that we can utilize with payroll, HR, time and attendance, performance management, applicant tracking and benefits.

Cons

1) Customer Support is poor! Each service (Payroll, Time&Attendance, HR) have their own support contacts. When trying to reach them, they are never available via phone. You have the capability to e-mail directly but don't always get a fast response (fast to me is within 12-24 hours). I have to continuously send follow-up e-mails to check on status of issues or questions. 2) They have a variety of different systems to use (payroll, HR, applicant tracking) but each system does not always talk well to each other since they were different technologies that created them. For example, the applicant tracking system was under Newton Software so they handled any technical issues. 3) There are different roles in the system and when asking for how-to guides for these roles, for example a manager role, I was told I needed to test and create myself as each system is unique. 4) I came in after the organization had started using their services. As a new person in my role, I wanted to find out what functionalities that we have available to us as I know there are more functionalities available but have not been provided with what these are, only learn as I go or if I ask the right questions. There is training provided but again that is very brief and doesn't go deep into what the system can do. The reason Paycor states can't provide as each client is unique. Very unfortunate as would like to get the most bang for our buck!

I love the home dashboard! It is so organized and I can see exactly where are candidates are at in the hiring process.

Cons

I wish that the implementation team was able to provide support throughout the first 6 months. I didn't love being pushed from person to person to get a question answered.

Implementation. Had to follow up and keep implementation on track with too many items. Some items were not covered at all. We could have used more time with and information from our implementation team.

### "Paycor is fine"

The time clock apps are buggy, and the admin side is slow and sometimes clumsy. But it works well enough that we can get by and it is not too expensive. I'm sure there are better products available, but Paycor is fine.

Pros

It mostly works as it is supposed to. Things like direct deposit payroll and onboarding are simplified by using Paycor, and they are pretty good about managing the tax side too.

Cons

Getting support is difficult. Long wait times on the phone every day. When we did have a tax issue, I could get no phone support and was told to send an email to the tax research team. The tax research team told me to wait 90 days for a response. Bizarre.

### "Perfect platform for a small business"

A promotional rate was offered to us and it was very hard to turn down. The onboarding process with our sales representative was an absolute breeze! They were patient with all of my questions. The platform itself has been pretty easy to use. If I am out in the field and can't log into our account, it is easy to get someone on the phone to help with an issue or handle processing remotely.

Pros

It was very easy to get started. The customer service behind this software is outstanding. I have called into the customer service line and gotten a helpful human several times. I have also used the online video tutorials and they are on point. We run payroll on a biweekly basis with a small staff of 10. It's versatile and very quick to go in and make changes. Payroll takes me less than 5 minutes.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to figure out how to edit an employees profile or pay rate. The prompts to make edits are not super intuitive. (But, calling someone up for help is a quick option.)

Reason for choosing Paycor

I went with this option because it was integrated in with my bank. Our banker referred us to them and it was a very simple process to get up and going.

This platform has a lot of pros: 1. Automated workflows come out to be very useful in getting the tasks done within time. 2. Career management helps the employees to consider the company as a participant in his/her growth in career. 3. Payroll management is just great. Nothing beats a good payroll management system that carries out all the tasks in an automated fashion.

Cons

There is hardly any con. The user interface can be further enhanced. Its fine but yeah can be better in my opinion.

So far, I'm liking it very much. Everyday I am finding new and better ways to improve my job by using Paycor.

Pros

I like how much Paycor helps with the onboarding of new employees and implementing their information into TrackTik for us. My onboarding process has literally been cut in half. It has been easy to assist employees when they have questions regarding payroll, and all of their information is easy to find.

Cons

A few processes have changed, like passwords installation. Our switch over from Rippling was quite tedious, and payroll is a bit different, but we're working out the kinks pretty well.

Thinking about looking for another provider.

It was an upgrade to my previous payroll/HR provider.

Cons

Customer Service is horrible and when you do get someone on the line they can't seem to help you because that is not what they do. We also had a payroll issue in June that just got messed up even more when the original customer service person informed my assistant that she needed to input all our employees (over 100) herself individually when somehow the payroll was submitted with deductions. This was two days before the payroll was due and should have been deleted and simply resent. We were also charged to do all the reversals. It was a horrible experience.
