Partiendo de la base de mi experiencia dentro del campo de la gestión de Recursos Humanos (unos 3 años), tengo que decir que es un software muy completo en términos generales, ya que permite la gestión de las diferentes tareas que se dan dentro de este ámbito en la empresa, desde la gestión de nóminas, hasta los turnos, etc.

Cons

Sinceramente, no tengo ninguna opinión negativa acerca de este software. En todo caso, por poner alguna connotación, que no queja, diría que sería pertinente un curso previo a la utilización de la misma, dado que sin ello, al principio cuesta un poco.

### "Paycor Perform Review"

The overall use of the platform is confusing and very inefficient. I have 3 different Paycor reps that I have to TRY to reach in order to troubleshoot specific issues. Whenever I have to make adjustments within the "Schedules" section on Time on Demand, I have to go into the "Benefits" section and make the same adjustments just to make sure the balances are correct and tie out to each other. This is extremely inefficient. Trying to set someone up as an approval manager within ToD is also very confusing and time consuming. The online reporting is difficult to use and more often than not, when I try to run a report, it fails and will not generate any data. I much preferred the old Paycor platform to the Perform platform. I wish none of the changes had been made.

Pros

There is very little that I like about the software

Cons

It's inefficient, complicated and difficult to move around in

### "Best ATS for the money"

Newton has made filling positions in my niche (Renewable Energy) industry a lot easier.

Pros

Newton was designed by recruiters so their team understands what is important for people who need to decrease their time to fill open positions. I'm really goal oriented to Newton's analytics are a huge win. I also like the automatic \[free\] posts to LinkedIn, Glassdoor and Indeed. Its also competitively priced and integrates with a lot of other systems.

Cons

It doesn't make sense to me that the automatic post sites are not the same sites you can sponsor from your account. The minimum sponsorship in Newton is also higher than what it is to sponsor directly on the job board itself. Not a big deal but I'd like to see that change.

### "Newton is very easy to use"

We have a very nice page for our ATS on our website. They will soon be able to use the iframe once we convert our webpage over. It's much easier to organize our applicants than before.

Pros

We were just using indeed and other online methods before finding Newton and it has been great ever since. The team is very good to work with and can do almost anything you ask within reason. I have zero complaints able their service. The cost is great too!

Cons

They were bought by Paycor, but that is not a dislike, just I fear the control or service may change. We are still at the early stages of that process though.

Paycor perform is a very intuitive and clean platform for payroll functionality, HR and ACA reporting. It is always improving and striving to be better. Customer service is great and one of the reasons I switched our company from ADP. I am assigned specialists that I can speak with directly. Every time I have spoken with a different representative, they have been helpful and never condescending like some help desk support. Reports are easy to navigate and build within the system. It was a very easy transition and I have been completely satisfied with Paycor for our payroll, HR and ACA needs.

Pros

Ease of use. Customer service. Reporting and accuracy. Always improving and listening to customer feedback.

Cons

There are few tasks that can be completed in HR or Payroll and it matters which task is done in each platform.

Easy to use if you are on hourly but hard to change some features if you punch in twice by accident or leave without punching out. Could have more alerts to help this.

Pros

Easy punch and go feature and your pay stub can be accessed from anywhere.

Cons

Sometimes glitchy and takes a while to pull up on certain web browsers.

Pros

I use this software to be paid as an independent contract for a couple of my side hustle jobs. It was very easy to set up and receiving payments has been a breeze. It’s easy to navigate and therefore did not take too much of my valuable time for setup, which I highly appreciate.

Cons

I don’t have any negative comments about their particular software.

Pros

Paycor's Reports & Analytics offers plenty of standard templates and the flexibility to create custom templates, which allows for robust reporting. Also, Paycor's customer support team is generally very responsive and knowledgeable.

Cons

Paycor's Payroll and HR databases are separate, and sometimes information entered in one database does not flow smoothly to the other (i.e. leave status, pay groups, pay changes). Workflows are only generated when you initiate changes using certain tabs (not all tabs initiate workflows) and often more than one workflow needs to be generated if you're making numerous changes (i.e. department, manager, salary, and title).

Two features that stand out: - setting common objectives - recognition

Cons

It can be overwhelming to configure the tool so that every team and function in your organization can use it. But once setup, it requires minimal time on a daily or weekly basis to maintain and bring value dynamically to the entire organization.

We have better-targeted goals, peer recognition, and awareness across the organization. But there is always room for improvement.

Pros

The interface was pretty easy to use. Adding and reporting on objectives was pretty good. The company wide status updates were wonderful to see and I enjoyed peer recognition.

Cons

Seems like some good practices should be accompanied by the software. We often don't leverage full potential. They have weekly reminders to check in, but seems very low touch and could probably add integrations for managers to better check on status or schedule meetings. I'm not particularly happy with the peer recognition text editor.

Pros

The main screens make simple tasks quite easy to figure out and take care of. PTO is right there, main account/profile information is right there.

Cons

When it comes to some of the advanced features, it's more difficult to navigate. Getting into things like benefits and goals and evaluations seem to be in some very odd locations. Clicking and searching around, eventually they are found, but not right on the main page.

i love that you can clearly see on both desktop and mobile view your time card and hours put in, i also love how it shows you the pay period for that week

Cons

i dont like that the mobile viewing is not as user-friendly and i cannot figure out how to punch out on the app

All positive, helpful and amazing!

Pros

I would recommend paycor to anyone shopping around for new payroll services. It is a user friendly interface, every time I have a question and call in, they help me resolve it on the spot. I have never had any issues that have gone unresolved!

Cons

I would not even call it a con, but the hardest part for ME to use is the reporting function. BUT!! If I ever need anything, I call in and they help me with building a custom report!

I've processed payroll for years and Paycor has been, by far, the easiest to use for a Payroll Specialist. If you aren't sure, you have access to Paycor step-by-step tutorials with screenshots for payroll and HR. If you still need assistance, you can contact a devoted payroll specialist via email or phone call. You can also ask questions to HR Specialists for those hard to find answers. Paycor offers so many ways to assist in day-to-day payroll and HR business such as handbook assistance, Onboarding, uploading certificates, uploading company documents, etc. WOW!! So much help available at your fingertips!!

Pros

Assistance in all aspects. Paycor listens to the clients for ideas

Cons

Our labor hours go by jobs, Paycor does not allow for consecutive job numbers such as 1001, 1002, 1003 as the employees process new jobs.

### "A Superior Product"

We transitioned from ADP to Paycor two years ago. Overall, I have found the quality of the product to be excellent - from the team responsible for the transition through the new and improved platform we use today - "Paycor Perform". Customer support is superior. Whether or not I reach out to our "dedicated" support specialist or just someone who is available when my specialist is busy, I get an answer quickly if not immediately via telephone call or email. Detailed screen shots and instructions are almost always included in Paycor's email responses, leaving little or nothing to the imagination. As a result, cases are quickly resolved and the documentation provided becomes part of my personalized reference guide. Every aspect of the Paycor platform has been well planned with changes rolled out over a period of time that allows users to become familiar before having to "jump in". For instance, not only did Paycor introduce training on the IRS/ACA employer mandated reports (Forms 1094 and 1095) well before the data collection period began, but they also assigned a dedicated specialist for this transition. This provided me with a level of knowledge and understanding that enabled a nearly effortless transition. I've found their training and their support to be top notch. We went from a time clock system which included binders full of documentation for missed punches and PTO requests to a web-based system that requires no paper documentation. In addition, the checks and balances that were once performed by one person (the Payroll Manager) are now allocated among several supervisors, which reduces the average payroll processing time and focuses employee time management responsibility back to the supervisors. Finally, it is important to note that these improvements have all been accomplished (with more to come as time permits) at a lower cost than that charged by Paycor's predecessor! A more satisfied customer will be hard to find!

### "Works great but not always the most intuitive "

Pros

It has all of the things that I need in one place. I can request time off, track sick time, download paystubs, and fill out performance reviews all on Paycor. It works great and meets a lot of needs to make it easier to access needed information.

Cons

It isn't intuitive, I have been using it for the last year and a half and I still find myself clicking around to find certain aspects. It isn't always clear to get to one section from another, for example how to request time off. The performance review is also a little confusing and doesn't always match up between the reviewer and person being reviewed.

Pros

This is a user friendly tracking system. It is easy to train and be trained on. I've used several and none are as easy as Newton.

Cons

There have been a few times that it has gone down and it wasn't a quick fix.

Pros

The ease with which you can clock in. The visibility of your vacation hours, time used and available. Easily access past and present paycheck stubs and W-2's. A company communications area on the home screen to communicate and relay information, job opening, upcoming events, etc.

Cons

In the latest upgrade, under the time and attendance calendar, the hours for the day are not calculated and visable until the following day. Would like to see it there after you punch out.

Overall my experience using Paycor has been good, no complaints.

Pros

Paycor is what our HR department uses to share and store documents such as updated company policies, handbooks, government communications, etc. They load all of the documents and simply share a link, via email or text, and instructions with all employees, no more sharing attachments and flooding people's inbox.

Cons

The site looks somewhat boring, it would be cool if users had a way to personalize the font and backgrounds IMO.
