It definitely helped us. We slashed payroll processing time and finally got a stranglehold on labor costs. This allowed us to stay lean and focused while scaling our retail business.

Pros

Paycor gets the job done for retail operations. I like how it shoves payroll, time tracking, and onboarding into one dashboard, giving us a clear view of the whole operational landscape. For strategy, that's a massive leg up.

Cons

But it's not perfect. The UI feels dated and clunky, especially on mobile, which is frustrating. And don't even talk about customization; it's practically non-existent for unique workflows.

The conversion team was very supportive as well as very responsive when we had questions or ran across barriers

Pros

The ease of the use of the system. Even entry level team members were able to use Paycor, which takes the burden of the management team.

Cons

During the conversion there was challenges with setting io the oayroll. Our payroll has a lot of nuances because we are a nonprofit organization and our funding comes from various programs.

The communication and the attention people had with us was amazing!!! They were asking us a lot questions and wanted to know more about us! That was wonderful!

Pros

The overall platform is solid and the features are very effective. The payroll side of things is great!

Sometimes things get updates that are not great. They also have features that need updates that dont get them.

It was fine, and I have no real complaints about the platform or software. It was reliable and that all you can ask for in a platform like this.

Pros

It was a super easy to use platform that housed all of my HR items in a previous role. Did everything you could want it to, and was very simple in its use. Could always reliably get my pay info from there.

Cons

It is simple, and there's not a lot of features that you can do outside its main functions. Payment details are the main thing we used it for but nothing more.

My overall experience with Paycor was pretty well its very easy to work with. I was able to onboard quickly and run payroll without a hitch!

Pros

Paycor is a very well put together software, It shows all of the payroll features you need. I would recommend them to any company.

Cons

I really can't say I dislike anything about Paycor it has great and up to date software and it runs smooth!

Too many workarounds. We have to create lots of paper forms because we cannot create workflows within Paycor.

Pros

That the taxes are calculated for me and tax returns handled.

Cons

Not conducive to the odd types of pay that exist in higher ed.

It's been mostly positive. I've used it for 4 going on 5 years now and can count only a handful of times that I did not like it.

Pros

I like being able to clock in on my phone. I also like that I can access all of my personal company documents directly within the app or website as well. I don't have to wait to receive my W2 in the mail, I can just access it via the app.

Cons

I wish the team schedule builder was easy to use. I can't even access it most days. It takes awhile to load and even then, I often can't do so without going to each team members profile and scheduling their shifts individually. I also do not like that I must change my password so often.

Overall experience has been good. Paycor sales representative is amazing. He works hard to trouble shoot the issues and reach out to the right person to assist.

The product is good, Folders for the Documents have been helpful because now the documents can be saved in different folders.

Cons

Can improve in customer service. Customer service representatives should be able to help in urgency.

We have not started using the HRIS; however we are in the integration phase as we will be in by January 1, 2025. I so far like the interface received during the conference / training.

N/A I have not been in Paycor yet as we are currently in the integration phase so I cannot share much about my experience.

Pros

I love the ease and maneuverability on the website. It's very user friendly and easily accessible, with easy to find tabs.

Cons

I really do not have any complaints about Paycor. I have had nothing but positive experiences and love how easy it is to use

I really appreciate that all payroll and HR functions are integrated within a single platform. It allows benefits data to automatically flow into payroll and out to our vendors, creating a seamless and efficient process.

Cons

Customer service is an area that could use improvement. Response times are often slow and it typically requires consistent follow up to get a case fully resolved.

My overall experience with Paycor was mediocre. It was not amazing but it was not horrible. There are just better options out there.

Pros

Paycor had a nice look to it. It was easy to navigate. Employee management was great. Clocking in and out was made super simple.

Cons

The customer service was Paycor was not great. We would always be on hold for way longer than we should have been.

I didn't mind using the app and the website but I thought it was a lot easier to use than other time clocks I used in the past.

Pros

I like being able to have an app on my phone to use for the system and the ease of being able to clock into work.

Cons

I felt like there was a lot of bugs and needed to be updated a lot. My information wasn't always up to date on the app.

It is a very good software, and I personally love it.

Pros

I love Paycor. This is the software we use where I am working now and it is very simple (user friendly)

Cons

That if you have a missed punch, you have to wait for it to be approved. I feel if you have a missed punch, it should automatically be resolved seeing they are going to change it regardless. So why have to wait. Sometimes it can take two weeks before you see your updated hours.

Overall a good experience and user friendly but run into some issues that support has to help with. These are typically few and far between so not an issue.

Pros

I like Paycor's ease of use on their application and ability to be self service for payroll needs.

Cons

Some tasks can be complex to figure out through the website alone, so you have to contact support for these cases. This can take time so need to plan accordingly.

### "Paycor - no accountabillity"

Horrible - lack of ownership. Refusal to research data issues. Outright lies about functionality of product vs actual usage.

Pros

We truly liked our salesperson, but even they have left Paycor now.

Cons

No audit trail, no dedicated support, refusal to allow access to all support teams when we had questions, lack of connectivity in their own products
