I have to enter a code every Friday to get into the system outside of my user id and password. The Customer Service that i have received for this issue has been to only add my mobile phone number instead of receiving an email. Just a pain to have to do that every single time I log in Pros I can write my own checks without my guys waiting for the checks to be mailed to them or money put into their bank account. All state and local taxes are filled. All taxes for federal, state, and local are paid and reported by Paycor. No more preparing the annual W2's and preparing the year end report . You just clock in when you get on site and clock out before you go and you can check your clock in and out times Cons It used to let employees clock in from their phones which can be a good thing or a bad thing... it's good because they are up to date with technology, but it's bad because someone could clock in before they even arrived at the job site Review Source GJ George J. The way it shows how much percentage of your goals have been completed in the form of Geese flying is nice. The recognition feature is also good and that a weekly notification about them goes to everyone in the organisation can be motivating for those who get recognized. Cons I would like if it is integrated with training features based on the goals of an employee. Perhaps the manager can assign specific training course or video that is directly associated with a new goal. Additionally you can integrate HR features to it such as compensation, tax, salary slips, etc so its a one-stop shop for any company's personnel needs. Review Source MB Michael B. We use direct deposit. My entire payroll process takes just minutes every other week. While we don't use all the Paycor features, the ones we do use are great. Pros Ease of use and support desk. They use humans. Cons There seemed to be an elevated turn over rate as far as our assigned support rep was concerned when we initially signed up. Now we've had the same rep for some time. There are some tweaks needed on the HRIS side but basic payroll functions well. The HRIS needs better user functionality. Time off requesting is tedious as you have to out in each day requested even if taking a whole week. The Time Off Calendar is neat but only managers can see it. The org. chart is a nice thought but you can only view portions of it. If you have 2 companies on the same fed id (ie we have two states but I can only view the chart for the state I'm in.) Small things like that which paycor says they will be fixing. The Customer Service is not the best. Our initial set up for payroll was riddled with errors and a rep who ignored emails. I ended up having to redo a ton of items that she input. The first assisted payroll processing was a joke. The rep was an hour late and I ended up figuring it out on my own. This seems to be the way they operate. Instead of yes I can set up that deduction code for you, they email you a pdf of how to do it. So I recommend this for only the very tech savy who don't need any customer service and like to figure things out on their own. Cons I do wish that this system was a little but more user friendly- It is a great system for Managers who are in charge of payroll but can be confusing at times to other employees. November 22, 2013 5.0 I was looking for a simple scheduling solution for my valet staff to deal with shift changes, time off requests and general availability. This was the third location I had worked at where time off requests were lost in emails and the schedule was taped up to the refrigerator and would constantly be needing adjustment. I started using Nimble Schedule on my own before introducing it to the staff by filling in the weekly schedule and adding in my whole staffs availability. Once my schedules were in order I introduced it to my staff and they really appreciated how intuitive the app was. Everyone had a smart phone, so there was no issues integrating Nimble. I am notified whenever someone wants a day off, or if employees are trying to trade shifts. If I have an open shift, I can click on that shift and all available employee pop up. If a particular week's schedule had no requests, I'm able to save it as a template and use it for any future weeks. I'm very impressed at how simple Nimble Schedule was to set up and how willing my employees were to use it. I'd recommend it to any business owner looking for a scheduling solution. I am not able to make deduction changes because the payroll processor does not have a link to the benefits in HR Performer. You need to stop the constant Paycor Verification Code when logging into Paycor. Pros Ease of use. Cons Constantly waiting for Paycor Verification Codes. For instance when looking for information on an employee it is easy to navigate. Pros Easy to use, and great help when I need the help. Response to my question are very short, considering all of the other users that PayCor has. Cons I'm not a computer person, and in my opinion there seems to be a lot of steps to change payroll when I need to change it.
