Used the software for: ### "Great Scheduling Software" November 10, 2016 5.0 I was using an excel spreadsheet to schedule my staff and it just wasn't user friendly. I came across NimbleSchedule and decided to give the free trial a shot. It streamlined things for me so quickly. What used to be a daunting task now takes a fraction of the time. My employees love it as well since they can put their availability in and switch shifts with co-workers. The time off request feature is probably my favourite as I don't need to track down emails and notes from staff to figure out when they are available. I highly recommend it and I'm sure there are great features that I still haven't come across yet that will make it even better. October 25, 2016 5.0 Everytime I log onto Paycor it asks me for a security code as if it has never talked to my computer before (I always use the same computer). Yesterday, my email through Comcast was having a problem and ofcourse Paycor wanted me to put in a new security code, and my normal Paycor was not available....so I had to explain to the new Paycor help person who I was and why I needed them to get me a security code, by the time I got the code and got it loaded in so I could actually login I had spent nearly an hour so I could pull down information to answer questions for a single employee about the last two paychecks. Used the software for: ### "lots of quirks to remember" November 2, 2016 5.0 i love this software the only thing that could be improved it to take more time to see how doing something the "wrong" way will affect the entire system. there seem ot be several instances where there is more then one way to do something and if you don't do it the exact right way the instructions tell you it causes problems later. there are no safeguards to make sure you are accidentally bypassing the system or causing problems later. you never know you are doing something the wrong way until you see the problem it caused later. in short the developers should always be thinking of ways people could "hack the system" and fix the loophole. Office Manager Research Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Excellent way to do your payroll and not have to worry about anything" February 16, 2018 5.0 Doing payroll through paycor helps a lot you don't have to worry about it being done wrong. All the taxes get filed we do ACH everyone has direct deposit. I like this a lot. Pros Very user friendly. All taxes and everything is taken care of. Customer service is easy to get in touch with and they response very fast. Cons An accounting firm did our payroll for us and they used Paycor. We decided to take charge and do the payroll ourselves. The only problem I have is sometimes the prior accounting firm will get messages that should be to us. Review Source CP Cam P. April 3, 2016 5.0 Well I haven't updated my FB relationship status, but Nimble Schedule has brought a breath of fresh air to my work. We initially thought we'd trial the software for a month alongside our archaic spreadsheets and cut and paste email rostering routine... it only took a week and we abandoned the old processes. NimbleSchedule was easy to set up, and our staff have taken to it very quickly. The support team has been very helpful, a little bit of a lag due to time zone differences with us being in New Zealand, but over all they have answered all my questions and queries . November 2, 2016 5.0 I have a very small business and need a reliable service, which I have had from Paycor. The only thing I would prefer is if major updates to the platform were only once per year, due to the re-learning involved. Pros Once you understand it, you can use it very quickly. Scheduler Used the software for: ### "Intuitive software and fast service" March 8, 2016 5.0 As the scheduler at our company, Nimble Schedule is the software I primarily use at work. Anytime I have encountered an issue or have a question, I just click on a little question bubble and get to chat with a Nimble Schedule support team member. They reply quickly and always resolve any issues or answer any questions I might have. It's like constantly having a trainer at your disposal. There are many features besides the main scheduling feature that I use daily; the timeclock logs, audit logs, employee logs to make phone calls, etc. We have looked at other scheduling software but none of them seemed as easy to use as Nimble. The best thing is always have a specialist that is willing to help you at any moment. I wish the time and attendance had better reporting. The HR module is pretty complete and is ACA compatable. They did a great job getting us set up for the new ACA reporting regulations. Overall a pretty good program and service. Pros I like the payroll module. It is very nice, has all the information you need and the reporting is pretty good. Cons The Time and Attendance module. From the ease of the implementation to the simplicity of the day to day use, the Newton ATS is by far the best system on the market. The usability of the product is amazing, but one thing that continues to impress me is the feature upgrades. Newton pushes out multiple upgrades each year and these are done seamlessly without any additional cost to the users.
