We have only one employee so this system is more than we need but it functions well. I don't like that we get charged even if we don't run a payroll in a given month but something like that seems to be standard practice. Pros Pretty easy to learn and use. Used the software for: ### "My experience with PayCor" October 27, 2016 3.0 All customer service reps are professional, attentive and very timely in response to questions and issues. I have, however, taken over the 403b deduction of one employee, who is an hourly wage earner. For what ever reason, it would be correct for months and then for three or four months, it was incorrect. For my own peace of mind and to eliminate repeated phone calls, I take care of it myself. I would like to know what the 0.11 fee is for 401K EDI processing. If it pertains in any way to just this one deduction that has to be calculated, then I would like it removed, as I am the one doing the calculation now. Review Source KK Kathy K. If I make a mistake or have a question, staff are very responsive and helpful. I have only been on the job for almost a year and whenever I have emailed or called I have gotten an answer to my questions. I still have to take information out of something in order to get what i asked for. with the new FLSA reporting, my company was not set up like my sister companies and we had to have Time and Attendance do something for us to reflect correctly in Payroll. It would have been better customer service for our rep to get a hold of our time and attendance rep and communicated what needed to be done. We play the middle man for the employees that are having an issue logging in, that takes up way too much time. Overall, the reps are very informative and help with our issues. Pros This program is very easy to use. Being able to work from the cloud is important for us because we have multiple offices. The payroll features are especially helpful. Cons Customer service really leaves something to be desired. I struggle to get through to anyone on the phone in a timely manner. Our company is supposed to have a designated representative, but the person assigned to our company changes frequently. Cons Interface and lead time to become accustomed to the software was about 3 weeks in our experience but aside from that it is very effective. I spend a lot of time using a calculator to find out total number of hours per week. - I like that HR department can load documents to be able to be viewed. - if in the future you can have a search option to aid in finding documents within paycor that would be helpful. Or have a glossary of drop down menus. I can't remember what I was trying to find a few times and wasn't able to find it easily. - I have never used customer support so couldn't rate that category. Cons It should be a bit more intuitive and easier to use. Many of our employees had problems losing their scheduled shifts. The default location sometimes creates some confusion. Pros I had the chance to use this as a free trial. I have had no complaints. I think it's a good HR and Payroll tool. It made things easier with HR and payroll needs. Cons I couldn't recall anything I least liked about this software. At that time, back in the day, we just were a big company and our global HR team went with another payroll software. Used the software for: ### "Paycor is a Valuable Program!" November 2, 2016 5.0 As a company we have used Paycor for almost 3 years. I am pleased with how easy it is to navigate and use the program. Anytime I am asked to provide a report, I am able to find it quickly. If I need a question answered while doing payroll, I email my representative and have an answer within a few minutes. We have a special representative that works one on one with me concerning all the new ACA laws. She has been wonderful and a great service to keep my company compliant with all the new laws. Makes communication much easier. Whole concept of creating and then publishing shifts, and allowing open shifts and swaps works very well. Cons - We assigns nurses to patients in different locations, so the software standard settings regarding location, roles, and authorization levels don't make perfect sense. Have several work-arounds in this area. For example, we have to use "position" to represent a customer. Would like to see more seamless integration with Quickbooks (in terms of adding and terminating employees).
