Partner Construction Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Relief from worry with Paycor" October 25, 2016 5.0 I am very happy with Paycor, it has been a relief for me to not have to worry about tax deductions, quarterly reports, W-2's, etc. It is easy to enter the hours and manage employee's and their wages. If I do have any questions there is always someone available to answer them and help me out. I am happy that I chose Paycor for my payroll service. Allowing me to have more time to work on other projects. Pros Paycor Time and Attendance makes it very easy to track my employees hours, to add their bonuses, and to make custom reports with whatever information I need at the time. One of my favorite features is the dashboard that alerts you when an employee misses a punch or is absent. Cons A con to this software is that it occasionally misrecords punches when my employees work split shifts. I have to go back into their time cards and and pair the punches so it stops reporting as a missing punch. The only other con i have is that when making custom reports, it is easier for me use use that information in an excel sheet but some of them will only allow you to open it in a PDF format. I couldn't think of anything better to use. Pros Easy to navigate, very efficient. Cons Some areas could be merged or made more clear when it comes to Payroll, Time & Attendance, and HR and Benefits. I really like that you set the frequency and 7geese reminds you when to complete review; also integrates with google calendar and sends invites for each review. Used the software for: ### " Very frustrated with new Perform Time" November 14, 2016 1.0 We are very frustrated with Perform Time. I feel like the support we received for something was forced upon was terrible. I asked two weeks ago to speak to a manager regarding my experience and was told it is a busy time of the year and they would get back to me. We have had some glimmers of hope when we are lucky enough to talk with someone other than our client service rep. He tries but he doesn't get it. This system is supposed to be new and improved and we can't do some of the basic things we could do before. I am very disappointed on how this was rolled out and the support. Pros Good user-friendly interface, good reporting and payment control options. It even controls employees and is easy to export data to other systems. I have to say my favorite thing is its easy to use and very strait forward. The software developers listen to what the customer wants and not just what they want to design. I still like the paper files and being able to hold something in my hand and read it or manually put it together. Going over to Paycor was my foray into the "online" world. I find customer support to be either good or bad - depends on who you are trying to reach. There should be one person to support the account and they can reach to each of the areas. Many times when I have a question, I don't know what areas are affected and who to contact. It is sold as a comprehensive system, but the customer is treated as if they are all separate. I also liked its mobile dashboard. Pros I really like that with Paycor, it will prepare my W2 forms for me. It is very easy to navigate and use. I alos really like its mobile dashboard which saves me time. Cons Sometimes when I looked for a particular topic for help, it was hard to find. It also seemed to have a few glitches. For instance, when I applied merit increases, the system always reverted back to the original pay info. I submitted an inquiry several times and nobody responded to any of my inquiries. Now we have a different rep assigned to our account so maybe we would receive a response. I'm not sure. I had to delete the old pay info to force the system to utilize the new pay info. It was helpful to have ATS, Payroll, HR and Ben Admin all in one place. Cons The system does not allow for employers to upload their own forms and then create signing templates. We did have an unusual issue with printing manual checks, but that was rectified. Customer Support is responsive and helpful. Doing payroll goes very quickly. I like being able to print out a payroll journal so I can review everything before submitting. I have sometimes found the manage employee sections a little confusing, but I think I have mastered it. I love being able to print out quarterly reports and not having to wait for snail mail for payroll and reports as we had to do with our previous payroll provider. Review Source RZ Rich Z. Used the software for: ### "Log in aggravation" October 25, 2016 3.0 Every time I log in I need to obtain a new verification number. This adds time and aggravation to the simple process. We don't have HR and we are only a 2 employee company so time is important and adding the time to have Paycor send a new Number to my email to allow me to log "every time" in is really a pain. I have spoken to and emailed regarding this and told nothing can be done... Other than that I am pleased with the program and ease. December 10, 2021 5.0 Overall, it is a great tool for clocking in and out and for making schedules. Pros I use this for staff to clock in and out. It is super easy to make adjustments in. I recently started using it to have staff request time off so that I can do the schedule off of that. It's a game changer. Used the software for: ### "Paycor Review - Needs improvements" October 25, 2016 2.0 \* We have had so many problems with the software from not calculating the city taxes correctly, problems with not supporting multiple garnishments (student loans with regular garnishments)we need to manually calculate them, does not support Levis (also manually calculated), Issues with benefits not feeding thru from HR to Payroll, Issues with employee status not flowing from HR into payroll and many more. Unfortunately we haven't had a good experience with the software. Pros Easy to use. Cons Does not work correctly, it has too many unresolved issues.
