### "The product is good and somewhat easy to use, but It's the service that keeps us happy. "

June 13, 2018

5.0

Pros

Easy to use website creation area. Be able to update our website easily helps us to keep the content more current. Easy to create reports for our magazine distribution and other media distribution. It is easy to create the needed forms for our special events. The dashboard is a great way for my board of directors to view current membership numbers, this saves me time and I don't have to provide a report each month. It is nice having a help desk link to get questions answered quickly. It is also helpful to have the Tuesday and Thursday training sessions show up on my google calendar so that I can learn memberclicks funtionality on a weekly basis. Our members find it easy to use as well. They can update there membership rosters with a simple click of a button. They can add just as easily by clicking a button to add a new member to there roster.

Cons

I do not like the limitations of the content we want to creation, such ad emails. There seems to be a lot of limitations of size and file types. I do not like that an invoice does not automatically update after a service director updates there individual profile list of there active members. They have to call our office for us to click several buttons and create a new invoice so they can pay it. Our organization has annual renewal of over 7000 people, a simple button that the service director could puch once the roster has been updated to update the invoice automatically is something memberclicks needs to add. I know that we are not the only organization that does group membership types. Annother feature that would be nice is to be able to see more detailed demographics on our e-blast system. I know we can see who opened it but additional data would be nice. While the help desk page provides alot of information, I would like to see more video content on how to do things with memberclicks. I prefer video over reading long pages because i do not have alot of time in my day to search for the answers, which is why if it takes me more then 10 minutes to find an answer, I will stop looking and call customer service.

### "LACPA's Review of MemberClicks"

November 29, 2021

5.0

It's been very nice working with MC and they have always been there for us. However, we do see a longer time in replying back to our questions lately. Also, we need to ask to have our website resynced. Why doesn't this happen automatically?

Pros

As a non-technical person, it was pretty easy to learn. We are very thankful for your Help Team. Although, we do see a longer time in replying back to our questions lately. Also, we need to ask to have our website resynced more often. Why doesn't this happen automatically?

Cons

We are unable to have fields where we want them. You have some main fields we use, but not all, so we created custom fields, but they are not where we'd like them to be. Example: Degree - It should be where the name information is listed.

### "A rigid platform that limits functionality and lacks staff support"

November 26, 2024

2.0

Pros

MemberClicks is low in complexity and serves as a bare bones association management system that offers the bare minimum in features and functionality. If you are in need of a simple database to execute the most basic functions (i.e., membership applications, registration for simple events and programs, an online learning library, etc.), then MemberClicks is the database for your small to mid-size organization.

Cons

MemberClicks is unfortunately lacking in a variety of areas, with cons outweighing the pros. - Customer service: MemberClicks guards who can ask their staff support-related questions. You can only have 1-2 staff serve as "super admins" who have access to reach out to MemberClicks for support. Our organization's experience has been frustrating in that we have received slow responses for questions, and there is not a lot of problem-solving or customization on MemberClicks' side for specific problems or ideas, beyond sending us pre-written help articles. I understand the concept of having 1-2 staff liaisons per association to make the line of communication easier on both sides; however, adhering to it in such a rigid manner does not always work for the association staff. For instance, on my team, our "super admin" does not do anything with event management or registrations, and mainly focuses on membership. I personally serve as the team's event manager and need to be able to speak with someone directly about ways to improve our registration process, but have been told I am not able to do so as I do not have administrator privileges. About a year ago, our team met with a MemberClicks representative who began the meeting by telling us we selected the wrong topic to discuss with her, and did not seem enthusiastic to answer our questions on the call. All of this makes me feel like our staff is more of an inconvenience than a customer. - Rigid, and non-flexible database: Unlike other platforms, MemberClicks seems rigid with most of its functionality. Since my primary job function is event management, let's focus on that. It seems that the only way to register someone for an event is through their forms feature, which forces an individual to go through filling out an entire, built-out form to be able to register for an annual conference, for instance. At least for the version we pay for, there does not seem to be a more interactive registration experience, and the user interface of the form is rather bland and "clunky," forcing the attendee to answer a list of questions built-out on the form. I wish that MemberClicks was more object-based. For example, rather than a long registration form for a conference where we have to include multiple questions around event add-ons (optional tours, dine arounds, etc.), I wish we could create separate, purchase-able "items", where they can pick and pay for different conference passes and add-ons as they please. It is difficult to do things like sell spouse-only passes on the same registration form as normal attendees, because for the initial question where an attendee selects a pass type, we want all of their corresponding attendee data to pull out separately with their filled out form, and MemberClicks only pulls data by number of times a form has been filled out. I also wish there was an easier way for member profiles to automatically update with information entered on the registration form for an event. It would also be nice for members to log into their profile and see which upcoming events they are signed up for versus simply if they have filled out/taken a "form." There are so many limitations since this database is not very interconnected or object-based. - Article management: The process of updating various web pages in the backend of MemberClicks is difficult. You have to try several times to click or highlight text until you are able to format it in the desired manner. Most of the web pages are managed and edited through MemberClicks, which leaves a very unappealing user experience and poor web design. I am sure a lot of the above has to do with the plan that our organization pays for and the fact that we don't have an expert on our staff who is solely dedicated to database issues; however, I feel these comments are valid as MemberClicks looks to improve its software and service offerings.

### "Great product"

August 21, 2019

4.0

Overall good experience. Set up was fairly streamlined. Some glitches here and there - some of which have yet to be resolved (i.e. directory map location issues and mailchimp integration issues); customer service is overall pretty good - my only beef is when items are not being resolved I get no response or follow ups to let me know what's going on - it's like they fall off the face of the Earth (i.e directory map location and mailchimp issues). However, the service folks are always very nice and helpful 95% of the time. When compared to other member management software platforms - this one has most of the features we wanted for the price we could afford.

Pros

Overall this product has MOST of the features we were looking for in a member management / website integration system. We needed software that managed our membership database and integrated with our website and would allow for easy registration for events on our site.

Cons

I wish the online version included all of the features and functionality of the desktop software. Alternatively, I wish the desktop software was mac compatible. I also wish there was some additional customization options on the registration forms for events so that you can customize the look of the registration forms to break up areas between registration fees vs. sponsorships vs. other registration items so things were more intuitive. I also wish there was a way to offer downloadable or "e-tickets". Another "wish list" item is the ability to create your own custom forms outside the membership form or event registration forms - such as a form where users can donate to a charitable cause where users can input whatever value they want. There are several other "wish list" items I'd like to see that are available in other software platforms.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

Integration with Quickbooks was the item that pushed us over the hump. Our operations manager an accountant needed to streamline the accounting side related to member invoicing/payments and Memberclick's integration was better than what MemberLeap offered. While MemberLeap had more bells and whistles included in their software that was very appealing, Memberclicks offered integrations with 3rd party software that would give us access to 90% of those additional functions if we wanted to add them later. Plus the integration with our website was a bit more straight forward. In addition, the start-up costs were much much lower with MemberClicks and we were limited in our budget.

### "Great data base for membership organizations"

October 8, 2020

4.0

Overall I have been very happy with them and the many improvements over the past few years have been great.

Pros

We have used this data base for 10 years. It's easy to move employees when they change businesses so you don't end up with duplicates. You have lots of information about your members at the tip of your fingers. It's relatively easy to set up events, billing and more. Invoicing is easy once you get everything set up. Reconciling events is also a breeze. There are a ton of reports plus you can make your own queries. If you have a quick question the Chat is an easy way to get help. We only use a fraction of the options available so there is much that this system can do.

Cons

Some of the areas that we don't like is that some of the reports are skewed due to how it pulls the data and we are not able to customize them to get what we need. The communication module doesn't always work well with Constant Contact. The event module works best if you can get your members to use their member login which isn't an easy transition for old time members. The new browser version still has a lot of tweaks that need fixed to work accurately.

### "Quick start up, great value for the money"

November 29, 2021

4.0

Overall MemberClicks is very user friendly and the support staff is able to help with anything you can't figure out on your own. There also also options to be able to use their system to offer a fairly high level of customization for the cost of the system.

Pros

MemberClicks has many customizable features to fit a broad range of association needs. They also are constantly evolving and adding more useful tools. They solicit customer feedback in determining what new features to implement.

Cons

It could be easier to navigate between certain areas of the admin site. For example once you find a certain form and hit the back button you go all the way back to the full list of forms instead of the subset of forms you searched for. Also we are having issues with the password reset feature.

### "They Will Hold You Hostage"

August 6, 2024

1.0

Beware before you sign-up for MemberClicks! I am on the board of a Chamber of Commerce who has been using them. They have increased the cost 25% in a 2 year period. We contacted them to let them know we are canceling and they said unless we give notice 60 days prior to our renewal date there is an 80% penalty. Basically, we have to pay for a whole year of service just to get out of the contract. They were unhelpful in resolving this matter even though they violated the terms of their contract with a 20% fee increase in 2023.

Pros

The software works okay but it is outdated and clunky. Needs serious design improvements. Not worth the cost.

Cons

Unreasonable cancelation policies. High price increases annually.

### "Memberclicks is a Good Software for a small business"

November 17, 2021

5.0

I have been using Memberclicks for at least 15 years. I started out on the Classic platform. The current platform is fine although form-making can still cause some issues. I use it everyday and have figured out how to do things with my own work-arounds. I attend the users group for Oasis, and the LMS group. We have LMS, Review and the Conference software. We just used LMS for a virtual Conference and I have several suggestions for improving LMS. I see that Personify is changing names (LMS is now Classroom) and we are MC Professionals. What else is coming in the future other than a hike in price for an already expensive system? Memberclicks is fine. I know that does not sound like a rousing endorsement but it is the best our association could find when we decided to change vendors. I am familiar with the software. The customer service is excellent! The response time is phenomenal and they help me with the information they share . I have written to them and called. Always the same excellent service. For the service alone, I wouldn't leave Memberclicks.

Pros

The most impactful features are the creation of a database and the ease of creating forms for Event Management.

Cons

I am not yet a fan of the new Contact Center. I wish that there was a connection with the old contact center so that our messages and images can be available. I know there are work arounds but in this day and age they shouldn't be necessary. I often wonder if the people writing the software are actual users. What seems intuitive and current to them may not translate to being intuitive and modern to the users. Do you test with your users while it is being built? We are small with about 500 members and prospects.

### "MemberClicks/Weblink Review"

January 17, 2019

4.0

Overall, I like this software. It is user friendly, and seems to be very progressive. When you need help with it, that is when the experience is not that great. But if you can learn the database and not have to ask for help very often, you will be happy.

Pros

I've been using this software for a bit over two years now, and I've always been pretty happy with it. We started using it as Weblink, and now we are still using it as MemberClicks. One of the things I love about this software is the updates. There are updates all of the time! And they take suggestions for updates and then implement them. So, I love that I can suggest a way that the database would work better for me, and then look forward to an update to possibly see the change I suggested implemented.

Cons

As mentioned above, when I first started using this software it was Weblink. The Weblink customer service team was one of the best customer service teams I have ever worked with. I actually loved reaching out to them, and working with them through whatever issue I was having. Since the MemberClicks change, the customer service is definitely an area that has gone downhill. There are long waits in a queue before you ever talk to someone, then when you finally do get to speak with someone, it seems as though their first response is always to assume that I am doing something wrong. They will often point me in the direction of common sense fixes, and act like I hadn't thought of those already. As an administrator of this database in my company, I pride myself with knowing how to use it, and also knowing where to find answers when I need them. When I have a problem, I always go to the help page and search articles before I ever contact customer service to ask for help. If I'm asking for help, it is because I have already exhausted my resources and there really is an issue with the software. It would be nice to be given the benefit of the doubt, rather than talked to in a manner that implies I do not know how to use the software. The customer service is definitely an issue that is talked about constantly in my workplace. We really miss the Weblink customer service.

I've been using the software since 2004. It's fairly simple as far as a database goes. Support is good, but with all the buy outs it has some issues with transition. I am currently looking at other soft wares to see what they have to offer.

Pros

It's very comprehensive and integrates will with the website

Cons

It is lacking in some automated features and the transition to web based vs. desktop has some issues that haven't been resolved in a very long time.

### "MemberClicks is a full service AMS"

April 1, 2022

5.0

We previously had a database that was designed for membership organizations with singular members not business members like ours. The switch was not easy because of all of the training requirements, but if you take the time to do it right MemberClicks is a real asset for your business. Our database is cleaner and more comprehensive than it has been in my 20 years with this organization.

Pros

if it's set up right and the entire staff commits to using it daily, it works for association management.

Cons

They continually changed their name and we got tired of it. (JK)

### "Overall, very good member management software but missing some important pieces"

January 4, 2023

5.0

Overall good. Support is great and the solution is flexible enough we can create a solution when we need something custom. Our biggest, and really only, issue is being able to integrate with a credit card machine during events. They integrate with PayPal, but don't connect to Zettle (which is PayPal). This is a weakness that would make me look elsewhere if we didn't already have a contract.

Pros

Memberclicks has been very good for managing membership, handling invoices and creating portals for our members. That's all very positive. Even better is their onboarding staff and support. Having a knowledgeable person to talk to (not a computer) has been a game changer from our last service.

Cons

Missing: The ability to accept credit card payments at an event quickly. It doesn't work with credit card readers so the lines to register and pay for classes is too long and chaos ensues. This is critical to have, people have been advocating for this since 2018 (according to comments on their own site) and it's nowhere on their radar. This is my biggest pet peeve with this software and it frankly makes the company's management look tone deaf.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

Word of mouth, past experience.

### "Software is complicated, but customer service always available"

October 6, 2020

4.0

Website design aside, I love MemberClicks. Their work ethic and value of their customers speaks volumes. I'd rather have a software system with a few bugs, but a team that can work and help me through it, than a software system that runs smoothly with a team that cares more about their bottom line. Memberclicks listens to their users, and I truly appreciate it.

Pros

No matter what problem I have, customer service is easily accessible and always available. MemberClicks recently purchased Weblink which now became Atlas. In that transition, we had SO many problems, but the MemberClicks staff was readily available. They were friendly and always willing to help. For most people, it can be a problem if you become "friends" with your customer service support, but I actually didn't mind it. They really helped us through the technical transition.

Cons

In order for Atlas to link up with our Members, and to track all of our incoming data, they have to be in control of our website. They use Weebly software to connect up to Atlas, which then controls our website (confusing, I know). So in order for us to have ONE company that can track membership logins, tracking who signed up for events in our calendar, or purchased advertisement (which Atlas tracks all those things), we have to sacrifice having a website we can edit on our own. Through Atlas, we have limited website design access, and the mobile version of our website is abysmal. So it became a choice of sacrifice. Do we 1. have a super cool website but pay a dozen 3rd party companies to track all of our content. or 2. Settle for a mediocre website but use a software system that tracks everything we need. So far, we've gone with number 2.

### "Using product for two months and feeling frustrated"

October 8, 2018

3.0

I did not have a positive experience with my on-boarding specialist. There was often confusion about appointment times; work that was promised was not completed timely; in fact, some of it has still not been done and we have been live for two months. When the system went live, renewal notices were sent to all my members and they were only supposed to go to the ones that had lapsed. My Board of Directors approved the rather large expenditure to purchase the system and then my credibility was impacted when I had to explain why members that had already paid for the year, were receiving a bill. Even though I had put in writing to the on-boarding specialist that the renewal notices for 2019 were to go our in November 2018, they went out September 1st. When I questioned this, I was told there was a bit of confusion. Thank goodness the help team members have been responsive and have tried to help sort out any problems.

Pros

As the director of a member based association, I contacted my fellow directors in other states that were using MemberClicks to ask about their experience with the product. They all recommended it noting just a few problem areas. I had an amazing demo experience with a very knowledgeable and friendly staff person who sold me on the product. Having the ability to track membership, generate invoices and track payments was a key reason for choosing the product. I hope that in a year's time, my comfort level with using the system will be such that I can realize the benefits we envisioned when purchasing the product. I will say the help desk staff are very responsive and accessible.

Cons

I have used other AMS products in other jobs so I have a basis for comparison in terms of what these systems can do. I would like to see MemberClicks streamline the creation of notices for members. For example, right now I have to create a notice for every single type of member (e.g. notice about payment of dues). It would be much easier if I could create a notice and then click which members it applies to rather than having to copy and paste the info into 8 different notices. Also, I know there are videos and staff available by e-mail but it would be helpful to have a guide or instruction manual that includes step by step instructions, rather than having to search through a bunch of articles. Also, I would love to be able to produce membership and revenue reports.

I have had an overall positive experience with MemberClicks. It functions smoothly and does what I need it to do, which is manage members, payments and tracking sponsorship.

Pros

Once you know what you're doing, Memberclicks is easy to use. It functions well most of the time. Simple interface with all important buttons and information readily available.

Cons

There are a lot of features that could be improved and new ones introduced that would make it more powerful. They are slow to make improvements and fix issues if you're the only client with the issue.

### "The customer support was OUTSTANDING. A++++ THANK YOU!! "

April 2, 2018

5.0

We use Weblink for managing our website, as our CRM and for invoicing our members/ accounts receivable. It's a great product and I know we don't even use all of Weblinks capabilities to the full extent that we should be using them. Their customer support is outstanding.

Pros

We have been very happy with the Weblink product. It's easy to use and they continue to make investments to keep the technology up to date. One of the things that I appreciate most is their customer support. Recently, we've been making technology upgrades in our organization and on Friday- the last day of the month I could do a bank deposit- Weblink was having trouble talking with Quickbooks because we moved some of our directories.

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say about the product other than the issue I had was a problem connecting Weblink to Quickbooks- which has rarely been an issue. The problem started on my end with moving some directories during a technology upgrade.

### "IFFA Concerns"

October 8, 2020

3.0

I have been frustrated with the overall experience with MemberClicks. I felt like the onboarding was not much about training, but about gathering information so that your group could prepare a bare minimum program. I feel the training on the website has been very disappointing. I use the videos to learn how to do something or I look up the procedure, and inevitably, it rarely works. When I have called into the support line and reached a live person, I have been told, that is not how you do it. I feel the training needs some major improvements. There needs to be a little more flexibility in the design of some of the items (event setup should offer more hidden feature options).

Pros

I like that it can integrate with the website.

Cons

I don't like the inflexibility of created pages on the website. I don't like the lack of response time on requests, or call in (this week I sat on "hold" for almost 15 minutes). I don't like the cost of in-person training sessions. Not as happy with this product as I had hoped. I actually prefer the Weblink version over Atlast. I like the easier layout options for the website, but I prefer the options that the Weblink website offered. It was more tailored to our likes.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

We felt at the time the WebLinks program worked well for what we needed, since the change over to Atlas, it has been a little more challenging.

### "MemberClicks -"

October 13, 2020

5.0

MemberClicks has wonderful customer service! They have online tutorials; webinars; blogs; live bi-weekly user group calls; and are very responsive to any phone call or email that I send to them. The development team is always listening to the needs of their users and constantly working to improve the features.

Pros

The database is extremely easy to use. It is always exciting to see the updates that the MemberClicks Team implements. I feel like MemberClicks software and their entire customer service team are an extension of our association's team. One of my favorite features on the admin side, is the ability to merge duplicate records. It is extremely easy and works flawlessly. We have a lot of non-members who attend our annual meetings. Some of our attendees later join the association with a different email address. Being able to merge the two records and maintain their history is most valuable.

Cons

There are a couple of limitations with payment options. For example, monthly auto-pay options have a limit of only membership. I recognize part of the limit is through our credit card processor. I know they are working on improvements for this feature, also.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

I know that our associations has used MemberClicks for our membership database and website for more than five years.

### "Member Clicks for small associations."

December 1, 2021

4.0

In spite of its faults, we have found MemberClicks very valuable for reminding and billing Member dues as well as Conference Registrations.

Pros

MemberClicks does a great job with both invoicing members for membership renewals as well as Conference Registrations.

Cons

If a member's membership expired a year for two earlier, it is extremely difficult for that member to re-join using their same email address. The Membership Directory also does not work properly.

### "MemberClicks is Innovative & Collaborative "

October 20, 2020

5.0

By implementing their product we moved into a new era. We started taking credit card payments, implemented an online dues renewals process that is truly the easiest part of my job, online registration, open/click rates on emails, the dashboard is a great tool, and the list goes on! It's been a wonderful company to work with and their product makes my job easier.

Pros

We started with nothing. Implemented the "classic" version. It was not without challenges, but the migration to Oasis was simple, easy and truly the easiest thing I've ever done. MemberClicks has a great team all around. Their customer service is simply the best I've ever encountered. MemberClicks continuously upgrades their product and listens to the needs of their customer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product, the team and their innovation!

Cons

The original product was a bit cumbersome to implement, but their migration to Oasis (at no additional charge) was quite possibly the easiest process ever! They listened to their customers and made the product better and easier to use.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

Pricing was key. We are a small association with a staff of one. Ease of use, the customer service team, their design team and ease of use were key in making the decision on the software. Feeling like they listened to the needs of the association and assisting in making the website, forms, database all that was needed truly exceeded my expectations. I've used this product for 8 years and have no plans to change!

### "Nine Years of Poor Progress"

December 12, 2023

2.0

The most reliable thing MC did was to raise their monthly fee, like clockwork, every single year. The system needed work in 2011. By 2020, it was ridiculously outdated. I worked with someone to switch my association to the "new" platform, which should have been a seamless process. It was anything but, and I abandoned the process because it was painstaking and the improvements that I'd been begging them to make for nine years had not been implemented. Good riddance!

Pros

There was a great guy named \[sensitive content hidden\] on the Help Team. I was sad when he left the company.

Cons

It is grossly overpriced given the lack of technological progress that I witnessed between 2011 and 2020.

### "Outstanding Customer Service & Membership Platform Based"

October 13, 2020

5.0

Our experience with our Non-Profit organization has been nothing short of amazing and positive experiences with MemberClicks. The customer service is friendly, engaging and always willing to help. If they are not able to help, they will find the support and help needed to solve the problem.

Pros

Our organization loves the ease of record keeping with existing members and new/prospect members all in one place. This software ties nicely into report management functions, mass email functions and doing event forms (annual conference) along with membership driven capabilities. The ease and use of the software is easy to understand and having MemberClicks tutorial articles and live-time customer-based support is phenomenal.

Cons

When you have multi-tiered price points for a membership driven organization with variable date ranges, some forms can be a bit tricky to set up to meet that multi-level criteria.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

We chose MemberClicks because of the outstanding customer support and all the features it offered to tie into our Non-Profit organization needs. I'd recommend MemberClicks in a heartbeat! Great pricing, software/platform capabilities and the support team behind it!
