Before I started, no one really used this DB to it's full capacity. We now do and I have amazed my boss over and over again!

Pros

This does a lot of my work for me. In order for this to work for you, you need to think like a computer and dig in and use it.

Cons

Often, you don't do a task often enough to remember exactly how to edit a section but CS is really helpful and I've downloaded documentation of some of the task to reference. Their research help section is always a good resource. The reports section would be better if you could edit it yourself but they can help create a custom report. The events section is awesome but members shouldn't have to sign in to register; getting them to register on line is difficult enough.

Membership Management, easy to use event registration, great reporting.

Pros

Ease of use! I love the fact that as an administrator I have more control over my database. If I do something I have the control to reverse it myself. I work with other databases that I am an administrator of and I don't have control of anything. I also love how helpful the IT support is. So far I haven't found any issue that they haven't been able to solve. If it's something they're not sure of or need more information on, they don't hesitate to call. Great customer service.

Cons

I wish that more was accessible via the cloud/internet. It would make working in the database when off site at meetings, etc., a little easier.

### "Works Great for a (really) Small Staff!"

We have used MemberClicks since 2009. While our membership and activities have grown, our staff has not! MemberClicks makes this possible, as we are able to manage dues for 1400 members and at least one dozen events per year between the two of us. While neither of us has computer/software/HTML training, the platform is user-friendly and allows us each to develop skills to manage our online presence. And when we don't know something, the help desk is there to assist.

Pros

Fairly easy to navigate. You can learn as you go.

Cons

Some of it is dated, but we are using the classic version. If we upgrade, we must do it during slow season.

Member database and web site linked together. Better reporting. More reliable functionality.

Pros

Comprehensive. Intuitive. Integrates well with our web site. Reliable. New updates often. Member based organization (Chamber of Commerce) specific. Flexible. Customer service and support has improved dramatically in the last 6-12 months. Good online and in person training resources available.

Cons

Does not integrate with our preferred financial package, Peachtree. Some difficulties from time to time creating the customized reports I'm looking for.

My MemberClicks overall experience has been superb! Everything is easy to use from printing our invoices to setting up business listings! The customer service is amazing. I use the chat feature and haven't had to wait long at all for service. Everyone is nice and handles my issues promptly. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] helped me with an invoice billing issue the other day. He was so patient with helping me solve the problem! He knew the answer to all my questions and walked me through the process! Thank you MemberClicks for making my job easy! =)

Pros

It's easy to use! I love the reports tab! I love that I can ask for specific reports! It's nice to have access to how to videos as well.

Cons

I haven't found anything I don't like about it.

Pros

New updates allow for easy set up of new members and registration for events. Easy access to member information. My director, sets up the events and would be able to give you more feedback regarding that part of the software.

Cons

Members sometimes have a difficult time registering from their phones. The visual display of weblink pages that are embedded in chamber pages should be enhanced. Difficulty in sizing sponsor logos on event pages. It was suggested that weblink integrate into an app.

MemberClicks provides a terrific product and their customer service and support is absolutely outstanding. As a non-profit, we needed a product that could provide the service and features that would help us function more efficiently and provide our members with the best possible experience in using our website, maintaining profile information easily, signing up for our yearly conference, payment processing, and receiving messages--all at an affordable price. MemberClicks met and exceeded our expectations. In researching potential companies, MemberClicks stood out from the beginning with its personal, responsive service--from the sales team and trainers to the web designers and technicians. As someone who had no previous skill in website management and no coding skills, I had to gain some expertise quickly. MemberClicks walked me through the initial training of different components at a reasonable pace, and it didn't take long before I felt confident in maintaining the site and assisting our other administrator with database issues. There are lots of other tools to support learning the system or fixing problems through a library of training videos and articles that are easy to access, along with webinars. But when I have been really stuck, I have been amazed and impressed with the speed of their responses, both through email and by phone. They have been there to help me right from the start and the great customer service has not stopped. This truly sets the company apart. Besides great service, they keep improving their product by rolling out new features and asking for customer input along the way. MemberClicks has been a great company for our organization and has really made a difference.

Pros

I can accomplish all of my member service needs in one place: applications, billing management, website and communications. It's very easy to learn and use... and if it ever isn't the customer support is truly wonderful. They are always accessible, kind, and provide training to fix my issues.

Cons

Some of the settings are a little funny: for example, I can't email multiple categories of membership at the same time and some of the automatic settings are hidden in funny places.

Member management has become smoother, we're realizing about 25% increase in membership and 15% increase in sponsorships for events.

Pros

Implementation of additional modules (job board, new platform, ), new features, and tools to increase revenue for our non-profit. MemberClicks support staff is excellent in assisting with questions regarding the software, making admins aware of additional tools within the software, with their timely responses.

Cons

Identifying duplicate profiles is one area that needs improvement (we are forced to use Excel to identify duplicates). We often have issues with users incorrectly modifying profiles that create duplicate.

Pros

We can keep all the information we need in a database made for membership organizations, so the reports provided are already made for what we need to know. No need to create a lot of reports & customization

Cons

It can be confusing to learn, especially because we've had it for a while and the way we've done some things were a work-around to an update they've made and it's been a bit of work to convert to the new way.

Pros

We had to make a quick transition from an existing AMS to another system, and do a build out in less than 6 weeks. Memberclicks was with us every step of the way. They paired individual staff trainings with video and webinar content to get us off the ground, and built out the major pages for us in advance. Instead of taking 500+ staff hours to get the site up and running, we completed everything in less than a week. When we were making the switch, we interviewed 5 potential providers, and Memberclicks' team was far and away the kindest and most helpful. Lots of AMS providers can offer bells and whistles - and Memberclicks competes well on all those metrics. But the most important thing for us, and trust me, for you, is customer service. Memberclicks wins hands down every time when it comes to service.

Cons

I honestly can't think of anything we don't like. We've used 3 different systems, and this is the only one that doesn't make the day grumpy.

Once you get the database populated and everything tagged, labeled, etc. It works really well. It lets me pull up all of the people for one company in one place. I do not have to try to search through Outlook, Mail Chimp, and spreadsheets for the information. (Warning: We signed up in May and was told that as long as we met all of our required information deadlines, we would be fully up and live by August 31. I had to constantly poke and prod and remind them that we needed stuff done. Finally the beginning of December we were fully live with all aspects of Weblinks).

Pros

I like that I am able to send invoice in a batch vs. one by one. I also like the fact that I can set up meetings and events through the CRM as well. I no longer have to use a separate ticketing platform. The Support Chat Team is hands down some of the most amazing people I have ever worked with. They truly want you to be successful with the software.

Cons

How long it took to get out full database up and running. The number of clicks it takes to do one task. The excessive complexity of trying to get the accounting side to communicate with our bookkeeping software. The training videos and the set up consultant do not cover the issues that we ran into.

Great product, great support.

Pros

It is designed for trade associations - the parent-child relationship. We used several other AMS over the past 10 years and this is the only solution we found that really meets our needs. We're a small association and the price was very reasonable. Great support.

Cons

The launch process is about 3 months and we kept having to delay it as we have an event every three months.

Reason for choosing MemberClicks

recommended by another trade association that had been through a similar ordeal with trying workarounds to make AMS software for the individual member work for a trade association.

We just couldn't get salesforce to really meet the needs of a trade association. Memberclicks does.

Pros

Forms are easy to set up for various member types and events. Edits to the website and member info is easy from the back end. The help team is great if I don't know how to do something or if I need to find a work around to do something the system isn't designed to do

Cons

I wish there was a digital membership certificate or card, which pulled in the member name, number, and expiration date that was printable. I designed an article that we use as a certificate with all that info however it doesn't print in a way that members can frame and display it easily.

The customer support is top notch, and the software is constantly being updated. I am always impressed with what I can do with it, more than I have time or hands for! It's been three years now and I have not been disappointed.

Sometimes it's over my head! But there's always help close by, whether it's thru chat or instructional videos.

I love how easy it is to use in most areas. The Customer Support is great and I couldn't ask for better. The detailed training sessions are very useful. I don't personally use the transaction side of things very much but my coworkers seem to like it. However, the one thing I don't like is the formatting issues that they have. We have had continued issues with the formatting inside of emails not keeping or adding weird formatting in general. Website facing formatting sometimes also tends to act weird. Even with the formatting problems, I still love it.

Productive and inspiring.

Pros

It easy to use for someone who wasn't using any sort of CSM before. And the parts that were more complicated to learn, were easy to navigate once you poke around a little. And customer service is only a phone call (or an email) away. I've never waiting more than 2 minutes when calling the help desk. Always helpful!

Cons

As a staff of one, I could have used more one-on-one time once on-boarding was completed. Having said that, my one-on-one on-boarding specialist was most supportive. If I asked, she found time to chat with me whenever I need anything.

The Event module has been working great. The Capwiz / Voter Voice add on ability is working for what we need. The ability to pulling information dealing with our members is excellent. The billing function is top notch. Sales Opportunity module is very functional

Cons

The committee module still have its quirks. Not have the ability to change sales id on a mass reassignment- billing, assigned & sales opportunity.

Pros

This system makes me look good as web master. Our database is now cleaner than it has been in years Forms integrate so well we do all business online Helped us automate Most membership functions which was critical for an all volunteer association. (We really have NO paid assistance and have turned the organization completely around! Memberclicks staff show strong and regular evidence of Paying close attention to what users are asking and what we need to do our jobs better. In short, the product has done nothing but get better and better each month! Our website is so easy to update that the members have been amazed at the fact that our website is now alive. We finally have a members only section!!!! (something our former Exec, Director said could not be done)

Cons

While the forms are great, the functionality of all the fields available and how the forms will interact are often not immediately apparent to the non-web geek webmaster! (like me) The forms require a good deal of time and attention to learn but once you have it, not so bad. AND MemberClicks staff are always ready to help both via email and on the phone. Thanks!
