Integration was strong and easy. I like the program. Learning was not difficult and the program serves my pickleball community well.

Pros

Client Support is strong, Learning curve is medium. Every time I’ve sent an email to the support staff my return reply comes promptly.

Cons

Punchpass does not allow me to have a membership as an initial gate to my events. I would prefer being able to require a membership in order to get to my events that require an additional payment

Pros

Has all the right features for a reasonable price and PunchPass is always adding new and improved features.

Cons

Would like a user friendly way for someone to sign up and bring a friend. Everyone wants to share their experience.

Just frustrated with the level of support punchpass offers. Have since looked to moving to MindBody with improved customer service.

Pros

Cheaper than the competitors in the booking market.

Cons

Customer service was very poor. Was blamed for not understanding the software when there were glitches with online payment occuring additional fees. Not a good look blaming customers.

I like that it's an affordable and user friendly system for my business needs. If I have a question, they have many informational pages for me to explore, and they also get back quickly with questions. I'm glad I found Punchpass.

Cons

There are a lot of steps for some functions. And I wish they interfaced with one of my other partners.

I feel that Punchpass speaks in a language I understand as a yoga and meditation teacher. Any time I use the Help feature I type what I'm thinking and the help appears! It's very intuitive, or it reads my mind. The staff is always helpful, and never judge even when the answer might have been obvious. Punchpass is a kind system, both online and when talking with staff.

Pros

I love that Punchpass integrates easily with Stripe, Zoom, Mailchimp and more! I do not have time to become a tech professional while also teaching meditation and running a small business, so I appreciate that Punchpass handles most daily tasks. I can list every service I offer in one place on Punchpass. The monthly fee is very reasonable given how much time it frees up for me to focus on my content creation and service to the world.

Cons

My clients would like Punchpass to allow booking multiple class reservations all at once, and multiple purchases. Clients should be able to create a shopping cart of sorts for all their purchases.

Reason for choosing Punchpass

I looked at 13 scheduling systems and chose Punchpass in 2020. I was working for a yoga business that used MindBody so I knew I wanted something smaller, more manageable and less expense. Acuity/Squarespace was the 2nd runner up but it was not intuitive for me in my free trial. I considered others but only these 3 stood out as offering online booking, payment integration, Zoom integration and integrating with my Wix website. I really chose Punchpass because you are friendly, fun, kind, and make sense to small business people like me!

I have used Punchpass for over 6 years now! And, my experience has been great. They always put the customer first, answer all of my questions when I can not find them on my own. They literally saved our small yoga studio's business model during Covid by integrating Zoom into the platform for online classes -- before we were locked down. So I got a head start on this critical and invaluable feature. (Including a content library that is an invaluable feature) They are constantly adding new features to make it even better. And, offer excellent workshops to support our use of the platform.I often feel that Punchpass is growing with me, and together our businesses are getting stronger. And, I really do love their customer service! I always feel supported.

Pros

I love the ease of use, the design format and clarity that Punchpass provides to both myself and my customers. But what I really love the most is the customer service which is outstanding!

Cons

Some of the features on Punchpass can be limiting as they are not as flexible as I would like. Such as when you want to supply a discount code, it can't be specified for one pass or another, but applies to all. Same for the membership credits you can not personalize how many, so it is not a feature I can use at this this time. But these are very easy to work around.

I love that Punchpass is a smaller company that can give me the individual attention and care I desire. It was also more affordable, and that was important. I also liked how it looks. As a graphic designer, the interface is important to me -- not only how it looks, but how easy it is to use on my end and for the customer. It has all of the features that I need too!

I have been using PunchPass since I started in 2020 and I can't wait to see where PunchPass is in another 5 years.

Pros

PunchPass has been super user friendly from day one. My favorite things about the program are that you all are constantly updating the features and listening to your customers and our needs. The customer service is fantastic and I genuinely feel valued and heard.

Cons

Back in 2020 when I started using the platform it was limited, but you have since updated the things that fell short and have really grown with my fitness business. I would like more report options when it comes to sales, as well as someday have the option for our customers to add their photo. I have also asked about "day passes" where my client could attend unlimited classes 3 days per week, rather than an overall monthly membership.

I began using Punchpass when COVID shut down my physical location and limited class numbers due to covid spacing requirements! Prior to Punchpass I was just a paper/pen operation. Adding in the Punchpass system to help keep me organized and streamline my operations has been a game changer for my business!

Pros

The ease of use for staff and customers! I especially like the reporting and accounting to be able to compare attendance per class and instructors. I love that Punchpass sets up automatically the zoom links and is automatically sending out confirmations for registrations and reminders to customers along with the zoom links to customers to join on line classes!

Cons

The manual upload process of zoom recordings! Also, the inability to split a payment for a class card between credit cards as several of my seniors are given debit cards to use under their health insurance to put toward a class card.

Having recently made the switch to Punchpass, thus far am very happy with the system. Its relatively easy to use once you spend a little time on it and navigate your way around. The support from the team at Punchpass is a breath of fresh air compared to some levels of support form other online booking systems. You can actually speak to a human and there response time in my experience is swift and to the point. This is my 4th online booking system that I have used for my yoga studio and think I may have finally found a system that tailors to my needs and how I run my space. A Big Thank You to all at the Punchpass team.

Pros

The system is easy to use once you become familiar with it and the ability for my customers to re-schedule the there own classes is a big bonus for me.

Cons

The ability to edit the booking widget is a little limited, your unable to change font and has a small colour range but it displays well and is clean looking.

Overall good! My clients have been happy with the change to this software.

Pros

Flexible, easy set-up, good support one on one and tutorials.

Cons

I strongly suggest adding a cart option so that customers can buy more than 1 pass type at a time. We use the series options with tickets and if a customer wants to buy more than one series (ticket) they have To do that individually. We have gotten a lot of questions about this from customers. I would think it also makes it less likely they will purchase more than 1 series due to the lack of ease with multiple purchases. Also, there is no easy/clean way to credit a student who misses a class that is part of a series.

Overall, it's been a good experience - learning curve was not too steep and now I'm loving the whole system.

Pros

Loving it now... Had a few glitches setting up but once I understood the system better, all went smoothly and students are now beginning to buy passes and book their classes, too.

Cons

I think I needed a little more information about how the passes linked with the classes, and the variations I needed to set to make it work... One thing - I wasn't aware that a new student hadn't completed her details so she missed out on an important message when I emailed the class. The system didn't flag that an email address was missing. Is it possible to add this flag?

My overall experience with Punchpass has been nothing but positive. I originally did a soft launch as a transition for my customers to see how it all worked and everyone loved the convenience & organization of what is offered! I can keep it really simple or make it more complex, depending on how many of the offerings that I want to use on the platform. Their customer service is excellent and they LISTEN to their customer's needs - they are always looking to improve ways to make things more convenient and work efficiently. Having Punchpass is a big part of the pride that I have in my fitness business. I am happy to tell people to go to the calendar, make a reservation, pay online, etc. It streamlines my work, is easy to use for myself and my customers and I am forever grateful for having them make me LOOK GOOD - HA!

Pros

Punchpass is an excellent management product. Their customer service is great too. I find this to be SO IMPORTANT lately because they seem to truly care, whereas other companies just don't stand out in this area. Punchpass is on top of things, being helpful and knowledgeable, to take care of your needs. They treat you with respect and you can message and/or speak with them (it's true...real humans!). The platform looks good (user friendly), is easy & convenient to use and keeps track of my customer and financial activity.

Cons

There is not much that I don't like about Punchpass. Little things can be improved on, like allowing font colors/highlights (or icons) in the customer emails or being able to apply a Calendar Note to a specific date(s) or to repeat on certain days.

From the beginning, a lifesaver, as I found Punchpass at the beginning of the Pandemic as I was trying to figure out how to stay afloat, and offer classes on line on Zoom while our brick and mortar yoga studio was closed over 5 months, and then beyond with limited spaces in class. We had never had an on line software system and I was able to transfer all my hand written "cards" to the system and offer students the classes they had pre paid for before the pandemic.

Pros

Ease of use, customer friendly, linking my Zoom classes seamlessly. Integrated into my website easily. I can quickly update classes and add workshops and events. Easy to reach out to customers and check in classes both in the studio and on line. While the customer service is all on line, I always get a quick and helpful answer to all my questions, no matter how small, or complicated!

Cons

Fewer financial tracking options and they are hard to decipher. Hard to know what a class truly brings in per class. Tickets vs passes are hard to track, especially if someone wants to change a class or opt-out or get a refund.

Our experience with Punchpass has been very positive. We love the PWA instead of a traditional app (which would ultimately take more money from each sale!).

Pros

Punchpass customer service is top notch. I get everything I need with the software without being nickeled and dimed to death like other softwares. It’s easy to use and intuitive for our teachers and clients. Online classes are a breeze with the Zoom integration.

Cons

I would love to see more automations! And for customers to be able to buy more than one pass at a time. Gift cards have been a challenge, as well. I’d love the option to pass credit card fees to the customer.

We started using Punchpass about 4 years ago. There are constant improvements, and upgrades that make it even better. Customer service is quick to respond with any issues. Our clients find it really easy to use!

Pros

So easy to use! Punchpass offers all the necessary software for seamless scheduling, payment and client contact. The features are intuitive for the business owner to customize and clients find it really easy to use. Our group fitness studio has been really satisfied with it over the last four years!

Cons

Punchpass is pretty great. Even though it is a web-based app, it does not detract one bit from excellent performance on both mobile devices and computers.

I think that Punchpass is one of the best companies I have had to deal with as a professional. And, believe me, I am a picky customer! High quality customer service, amazing product... they always make my business look great.

Pros

I can't say enough good things about Punchpass. I know they usually work with studios, but I actually have an educational business teaching online classes and their format has been incredible for my business. I actually had signed up with another group before them and it was just so complex and annoying to set up. But Punchpass is incredibly intuitive. Their customer support is also amazing. They spent a ton of time in the beginning answering my questions while I got set up. They also provide incredibly detailed "help" sections on every topic imaginable. If I can't figure something out, I never feel alone as they get back to me very quickly. I have also received so many compliments from my students' families about how easy it is to sign up for classes and workshops. The pricing is also very reasonable for what a business gets. I really can't say enough about them.

Cons

Here and there, there have been things that they have needed to fix, particularly on new offerings they have rolled out. However, they fix them quickly and stay in touch with me the whole time. Honestly, I am just impressed that they are always trying to make their product better -- they will take client suggestions about improving or adding a feature and actually follow through!

I adore this company and am not only a loyal customer, but a fan.

Pros

PP has GREAT customer service and is EASY to to create links for social media, mailchimp, and web sites, etc. Zoom integrates well too. There are lots of training opportunities as well. and customer service is FAST, kind, & effective. I love the many tools for PERSONALIZED client account management. They even add new features you request when they can.

Cons

It is expensive for smaller solo-preneurs. In the future, I would like more private session features like callendy, so that I can show coaching clients AVAILABLE slots easier, with a cleaner view. It is harder to book individual clients, if you offer many things.

Love it! I am so happy with the general pass set up and the ease of use. They are always so helpful and responsive! Wouldn’t use anything else but PP!

Pros

PunchPass made it super easy to get my dance program up and running. The tools are intuitive and their Q&As are easy to find and follow if you don’t know how to do something. I’ve gotten so many calls on switching programs but I’ve been so happy with PP I wouldn’t consider anything else! They are always improving the site and offerings (even when you can’t think of more they can but but they always find a way!)

Cons

Not sure I really have anything… maybe a way to convert people with cards on file from a pass to a membership.

Positive. I love how available the staff is any time I have an issue. They are so helpful.

Pros

ease of use, convenience in having all classes and appointments in one place

Cons

I would like a drop down menu as an option for appointments. I have various possible things people could set an appointment for. It would be very helpful to create that.

Can't have a customer purchase more than one pass at a time.

Cons

I can't seem to get it to where my students are able to sign themselves in. I also wish the notification that is emailed about expiring and full passes/punches would have the option to send as a TEXT.
