“SIMPLY BRILLIANT!! AMAZING PRODUCTIVITY BOOSTER!”

ProsWe began using ZENMAID 8 months ago. After using 5 different systems previously, we finally found the one and only we need. It is so simple to use, the team loves the features, and as an owner of a very rapidly growing cleaning business, I was so happy to finally find a software program that did EVERYTHING! We used to use 4 different systems costing us time, frustration and most importantly-MONEY. I was extremely reluctant at first, as all the software available out there was missing 1 or more features. Not ZENMAID! I rarely have the time to even write reviews on products or services, but ZENMAID deserves it! Scheduling is easy, tracking expenses, and the best (in my opinion) the route and work order sheets automatically go to the cleaning teams. Of course my Cleaning Tech's were leery at first, but once they saw how much easier it was to not have to constantly come by the office for work assignments, work assignment changes, etc...they were so much happier. It allowed for more time to plan around there own day, offering better life balance for them, and more overall productivity by our entire team. If you own a service business of any sort, I strongly encourage you to try this software. We estimate at least 30% more time out selling services than before, with so much less headache. Lastly, I can't forget to mention Amar and his team of Customer Service. They will respond ASAP with live chat for any questions, and even data import your client book for free! By far the best system out there, and I do know, because I have tried them all. Thanks for an amazing system created specifically for our industry! I wish I could rate the experience 6 stars, in all honesty.
ConsI have tried over 5 different software systems for the past 3 years as we have been growing. NONE of them do what this does for our company. You cannot beat this system if you own a residential or commercial cleaning company-or any service related business for that matter. We are so happy to have found one system that does it all, and so easy to use.

“Zenmaid to the rescue! ”

OverallZenmaid has been a saviour for my business and personal life. Zenmaid takes care of alot of tasks i used to waste time on. Once a clients information is set up, the email confirmations go out, then reminders, as well as work orders for staff. After a few weeks of not hearing from clients, it will even send an email asking them to come back. I'm able to go on vacations for weeks without having to worry about my business fuctioning without me. Thank you ZENMAID!!! Now I can't picture my life without you!!
ProsHaving all my info in a databae that's easily accessible. The reminders and emails so clients won't forget appointments or have no escuse to do so.
ConsIpad app has minimal function. However i know an update just launched so i have to check it out. I'd like the girls to be able to check their future schedule on there.

The cleaners can already see into the future however they have to do so day by day which is what you're referring to here, I think. “Better than the "big guys"”

OverallThe owner and his team try their best to deliver a maid-industry specific software solution and generally do very well.
ProsI liked how when I was creating a new client or scheduling n appointment, it was off to the right like a sidebar and that allowed me to view the entire calendar while creating the appt. Easier to use than the "big guys" like Housecall Pro or mHelpDesk.
ConsThe schedule for multiple employees was not lined up nicely so that I could easily see where there are openings in the schedule for a new client. Very scattered and too much like using google with multiple calendars. I'm not going to pay to look at a schedule that is just like google's FREE version.

Thanks for taking the time to review us, Cindy! You are absolutely right! Our calendar does look like a view option in Google Calendar which is exactly what we were going for in ZenMaid. Google Calendar is super user friendly, and anyone can use it without a learning curve. We purposely wanted to mimic that. Where ZenMaid shines light years beyond Google Calendar (and our paid competition) is all the things that happen once the appointment is booked that no other free option can provide, and that makes us worth paying for. For example, a dedicated app that sends alerts , texts, and notifications to cleaners. And to customers updating them of statuses such as clock in times and arrival times. We have a full payroll system and marketing automations. Really - a list too long for this response. Back to the Google Calendar comment - we actually offer other calendar views that are designed for maid services as they grow because everyone has different preferences :-)

“Love the User Interface! So easy to use, easy to train, fast, full of automation!”

OverallWe switched to Zenmaid from another online platform that was slow and prone to crashing leaving us without our customer data and schedule! We NEVER had that problem with Zenmaid. It is clean and simple and reliable with some very cool automation features that we loved.
ProsI love the email reminders and follow ups that it automatically sends the customer based on their scheduled cleaning! We also love the calendar view that makes it so easy to see who is cleaning which house. It's also easy to change the appointment right on the same screen. No switching from one tab to another to perform a task. It's all possible from the same screen in most cases.
ConsCan't think of anything that ever frustrated us. There may be some features that some businesses would like, but we love the program just the way it is. But we really appreciate how responsive the Zenmaid team is when we have a request for a new feature. They are always improving the product.

“Amazing Customer Service and Overall Quality Product”

OverallIt is great! They make you feel like part of the family by being responsive and letting you know about their constant growth.
ProsEVERY SINGLE TIME I have a question they reply to me directly and quickly. If they do not have a good answer they let you know they will add the problem to the list of things they are working on. And guess what! A few weeks or months later they have made the change! They will also include you in the process of designing the improvement by gathering your opinion.
ConsIt can be glitchy but they acknowledge your problems when they happen so you dont get left feeling like you dont know how to use the software. It is not the cheapest option if you are just using it for scheduling but it has so many great features that others cannot compete on value.

“Their Support Is Absolutely Wonderful”

ProsI train assistants to help run owners cleaning companies. Many of our clients use ZenMaid in their business day to day operations and so we work very closely with the team and software every day. I cannot think of another software that has such a responsive and friendly support team. I'm not kidding - they will even help us out late on the weekend to make sure our clients get the attention they deserve. If you are looking for a software for the long term you MUST consider the team who is behind the software, and you won't find a better one than this one.

“Zenmaid ”

OverallZenmaid has been great to work with. They have dramatically improved the ease of use of their software. I have been with them from the beginning and they have made continuous improvements.
ProsI love the auto reminder email /text feature to remind our clients of an upcoming appointment and the reminders to our team about their next day schedule. Also easy to use the scheduling feature in the dispatch view.
ConsNothing i really don't like. I wish they had a messaging system where the clean cleaner could make notes so the office would be notified immediately of any issues at a home.

“Needs work”

OverallVery friendly customer service and great potential, but the time I spent on redoing payroll is a deal breaker for me. very frustrating.
ProsCheap, easy to use (other then the glitches and having to refresh every time you make a change) and I did like the calendar scheduling system designed for the uniqueness of a cleaning company, from booking form to finalizing payment (but not following through to payroll ).
ConsNot sure how this product is getting rave reviews when it has glitches that are huge problems, such as missing payroll hours (on the calendar,logged in and not on payroll)! ...unless of course the users are trusting that the program is calculating properly, as it should be! This is only one of many little glitches.....customer service responds but never answers or solves the problem. Payroll should not be sold as a service on this system. So be aware, if you get this software - do your own time sheet calculations. After using this for 6 months and pulling my hair out, I switched to a software that works.

“Can't Imagine Not Having This Tool”

OverallOnce I started my business I knew it would be a good idea to implement a CRM tool early on. I chose ZenMaid because it's industry-specific and successful businesses were happy with how it performed. The customer support team helped me get started, and it's been easy to maintain. I honestly can't imagine running this business without this tool - I'm sure it saves hours of scheduling, sending out work orders, time card keeping and sending out appointment reminders.
ProsI love that the user interface is obvious and easy to use. It frees up so much time when it comes to scheduling and sending clients appointment reminders.
ConsI do wish the mobile app had more functionality for my employees, but the nice thing is that the ZenMaid team is always making improvements.

“ZenMaid will streamline A LOT!”

ProsI got ZenMaid at the same time I started my company, and I really don't know how others run their cleaning companies without a software like this. From scheduling to payroll, it streamlines a lot of our business processes. Our cleaners love being able to see their schedule, notes, etc. Payroll is easy as well, and our cleaners like the reports we send where they see their appointments for the last period. Appointment confirmations and reminders are all automated. To sum up, this software really takes a lot of the 'tedious' work out of the equation.
ConsSome bugs here and there, but they quickly get fixed. I wish the mobile version was as robust as the desktop version, but not a deal breaker by any means.

“Very Satisfied Customer”

OverallI am very satisfied with ZenMaid. I had gone through 2-3 other software programs to find exactly what I need to run my company and I have no desire to look anywhere else. Very easy to use and I do appreciate they listen to their customers for feedback and changes that need to be made or to add more functions.
ProsI like that they are constantly listening to our feedback and making changes as necessary. Customer service is very fast to respond and able to fix any problems as they come up.
ConsI wish the reporting features were more detailed.

OverallI love that I can talk to staff and make suggestions of features that would be helpful. More times than not, they actually implement things I and other maid service owners suggest. I love that I feel heard!

“Fabulous ”

OverallIt has been amazing, I've gone through quite a few other scheduling software's and have never been as happy as I am with this one. I highly recommend it to anybody.
Pros I love that ZemMaid is tailored to residential housecleaners. They actually listen to us, the consumer and they take what we say/what we asked for and make it a reality. It's like we are on the team with them!
ConsThey don't have all the bells and whistle's that some of the other scheduling software's use, but I know that they will. They're constantly working on improving and updating.

“Has potential but isnt reaching it ”

OverallI solved the problem of using multiple software's to keep track and book my clients while organizinf my staff in one spot. But its overly complicated to use, the mobile app sucks and certain features you would expect from a software of this calibre dont exist.
ProsThat it attempts to encompass all the things any cleaning company would need to run a streamlined, smooth operation. Also, the customer service is great. If you tell them theyre missing a feature you need they will do what they can to develop that feature.
ConsIt never works!!! The mobile app version is HORRIBLE. Certain things you would expect from a software like this (like proper clocking in functionality and proper payroll calculations) never work properly, its overly complicated to use (deleting a clients appointment takes 4-5 steps) and from one day to the next you dont know whether or not you'll get a random error when entering information.

I especially hate that because I know the experience we usually offer people and for whatever reason, you didn't get our best. Please know that we will be looking into your account history to see when/if you reached out to us to make us aware of these issues. Usually, when odd things happen like that, or discontentment happens, a quick message to us gives us the tools and the opportunity to make it right. It's also important because things like the app (which is solely an employee app) and the payroll issues could have been a setting that our team could have easily adjusted for you, or shown you how to edit. “Zenmaid Has Made Order Out Of Sheer Chaos”

OverallI love that fact that everything in in one place. I don't need to add signing in applications or invoicing or booking. One stop shop!

OverallBetter maid service scheduling. Easy user use, very easy to use. Extremely easy to learn and use. Very fast load times!
ProsIt's extremely easy to use, they have even taken most of my suggestions and integrated them in the software for me! They have the best customer service and support by far! Go with this company if you want a smooth easy to use maid service software!
ConsThey do have a few bugs here and there, however they fix them relatively quickly. Anytime there has been an issue, they have had it fixed within 30 mins to 24 hours

“Great, easy to use software and these guys really care about my business”

OverallI'm the first one to review ZenMaid?? Must be a perk of being an early customer :-) I love these guys! I signed up for ZenMaid a few months ago after finding other software out there too complex and inconsistent. I was originally very happy with ZenMaid and how easy and intuitive it was to use but what really stood out to me was Amar and Arun, the founders. Before I even signed up for the software Amar spent time with me advising on things in my business that he wouldn't profit from. He's helped me set up an AdWords campaign that's bringing me leads daily and given me input that's allowed me to better manage my business, all with no expectation regarding the software. Once I joined I was introduced to Arun who is building the actual software. He's ultra responsive when I have issues or get confused and literally fixed a few things in my account overnight when I requested them late in the business day (after 5 pm). I was considering rating the software 4 stars because there are still a few features not out yet (QuickBooks for example) but I can tell you from my experience with these guys that not only will they deliver on everything they say but they genuinely care about every single one of their customers on a level I've never seen before.

“Convenient and simple ”

“meh”

Prosits colorful and easy to learn, the app is getting better, its cost effective, lots of good features
Consits been rather glitchy after the last update, its difficult to reach customer service when issues arise

We wanted to create a user friendly experience that also had the ability to brighten your mood at first glance ;-) As far as the glitches go, that's definitely something we are aware of and are working on it daily. Our customer support team is available in 3-4 time zones on any given day and is usually able to respond within a couple of hours during the week and in less than 24 hours on the weekends. We will be adding even more coverage as we grow but are currently focused on developing even more of those good features you mentioned as well as addressing the bugs so that all our customers have an overall Zen experience. “Zenmaid is the best cleaning service software!!”

ProsWhat I like most is how easy it is to use. It has a very simple layout and you don't need long to fully understand and operate you service with Zenmaid. It has a very detailed reporting and with just a view clicks you can see all your revenues and expenses, get your payroll done etc. It is great value for your money and very reasonable priced if you compare it to other software. Final, the support and communication with the Zenmaid team is amazing. Highly recommend!
ConsI'm using the software for a while now and I haven't found any yet. They constantly update the software so I don't think there are any cons.

“The best of them all!”

OverallOK, I've tried several other scheduling software programs. They either didn't fit our industry or said they could but ended up with lots of wasted time and money. And let me tell you about the support I received from the rest of them. It sucked and was expensive and took waaay too long. Let me tell you about the company that had so many glitches in their system that customers were disappearing as they were not kept in the correct spot! It was a nightmare. But, let me tell you about ZenMaid! :) Excellent support, (fast, friendly and listens to our suggestions!), smooth running system, time saving system, easy to use, many tools that are useful/helpful including automatic reminders and templates. And, they care about our business! Not a paid endorsement, not related to them in any way! Just good people that you should do business with. Rare.

“Don't know how we did it before”

OverallZenMaid has made a huge difference in the daily operations of our business. Simply put, it has taken hours away from our workload and has made managing our company so much easier. Running credit cards, viewing a clients info and history, payroll, payments, scheduling... everything has become so easy since we started ZenMaid back in October. We stopped having an accountant track down who paid and who didnt, stopped waiting weeks for checks to come in the mail, and our business has gone up tremendously. Keeps everything so organized it literally feels like ZenMaid does most of our work on a daily basis, we just simply provide it with the info. Amar the owner is very responsive to any questions for the monthly price it takes away such a big load from us. Would recommend to all cleanings business owners.

“Satisfied Customer”

OverallWe are a small cleaning busiess(and growing!!). Zenmaid makes things so easy and scheduling has become a breeze. We love the fact it will grow with us. The support staff are awesome. They literally get back to you within 10 minutes.
ProsI am not a tech person whatsoever. Zenmaid is so easy to learn!
ConsAs the owner, my phone app is completely different than the app on my desktop/laptop. I am not sure if it is just me but I can not navigate it on phone, just sign in as a tech.

“Excellent”

OverallBeen using ZenMaid for about a year, over the years I have always used softward based scheduling , this web based schedule wins hands down, no bugs, no crashes, no costly on going service fees. Web based scheduling is definitely the future.
ProsAlways available even if one computer crashes you can at least use your smart phone or tablets. Fast response to questions.
ConsEven though there are improvements for mobile devices, ,work still need to be done.

“Lifesaver!”

ProsI really love this app. Makes my OCD self very happy. Cleaning tasks are no joke and sometimes you can forget what's next or what's done. By keeping an schedule everything is easier to manage and the online payment is a very much appreciated extra!

“Great Program”

ProsWe have been using the program for about a month now. The reminder text to the customer is a great feature. No more reminder calls means more time booking customers. Any questions we had they were quick to respond and helped us get acquainted with the program. We would definitely recommend this program to not only house cleaning companies but window cleaning, carpet cleaning, any company that does basic service work. It works great.
ConsOther then answering the phone for us, really nothing. They are quick to help with any issues with the program. Any changes that are needed they are quick to respond and helped give us solutions to any issues we have had.
Recommendations to other buyersUse the software and interact with the support team and you will find what we have - that Zenmaid.com is one of the best scheduling software available.

“Was great while it lasted”

ProsI loved that I was able to run my entire operations from one site from scheduling, to taking payments, to sending reminder emails. I really enjoyed using the software but for a business my size I wasn't sure this was a software I really need at the moment due to price.
ConsThe pricing. I wished they had more reasonable priced software for small business with less than 5 employees because what they were asking is the reason I cancelled as I felt that was bit much for a small company trying to build clientele.

“Awesome software for my business”

OverallI recently started my own business housekeeping and personal system services I am a one-man shop I've tried almost every software that I came crossed and none of them were great. Zen made is awesome is easy-to-use, extremely user-friendly set up is very simple. It's a very simple yet into the program that offers a buddy to send out reminders to your clients as well as send it filled for reminders which has inspired my clients to send me amazing feedback. I highly recommend the software to a small business and any large business it simple it has all the features in need and it works great for me

“Great Software for any cleaning service!!! ”

OverallI have been using Zenmaid since they launch this amazing software! i can use it anywhere with my tablet, smart phone or computer. “From manual to software”

OverallGood software overall but didnt not see the value for the monthly price. If it was not too for a month I would most likely use it but it does not do enough for me to pay more than that.
ProsI like that it was easy to input information and i liked the pre typed templates so I could personalize the message for my customers, really enjoyed the email and text reminders.
ConsIt was tiedos when you needed to make a change when I pressed edit it wouldn't let me make too many changes so i decided to delete the appointment and start over then i was getting an error saying duplicate appointments but it wasn't because I deleted the other one.

“Great company. Great people”

OverallWhen I started my new maid service, I heard about ZenMaid from a friend of a friend. I thought I'd give these guys a shot. I am really glad I made that decision. The ZenMaid software is really designed around the maid service business model. I like that if ever I have a question or problem, I can give them a call and have my situation looked into and solved quickly.

“Great Product!”
