Pros: Customer Support with key account leaders for constant back and forth. Easy and accessible use of reporting. User-friendly for both the user-facing and back end. Customization of our unique product (exhibitor ticket vs. public facing ticket). Show day support. A sense of urgency for the smallest to largest issues.

Cons: Not enough suggestions for the future based on their experiences with your product or in the event industry as a whole. I would like to see more comp or case studies provided in order to make your our experiences better. Not able to customize the 'selling widget'. Not able to capture day-of geographic data information quickly though POS, currently no data collected besides redemption during day-of.

I wanted to address some of your concerns: 1) The widget can be greatly customized such as modifying verbiage, size, placement, enabling/disabling key features like shopping cart, Facebook integration, custom dividers/labels, and even 14 different themes. I know you had a long list of items available for sale which made your widget list long. We already have updates in the works that will allow you to group things like your Parking Passes into a single item and then choose as part of the check out process the different days and lots they want to park along with their associated pricing. This should further streamline the experience. As for not capturing day-of geographics, zip codes are not stored on credit cards. You can however ask the customer and enter it during check out. Looking forward to another great year with NIBS!

Pros: Easy to use, easy to upload custom designs to ticket stock. Fast and affordable shipping and your information and ticket orders are saved for fast re-ordering.

Overall: Fast and affordable tickets for any event. We order tickets every month for our family-friendly pro-wrestling events in New York and South Carolina.

The support team has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions! These guys are solid!

Pros: Super easy to use. Fast and efficient. Great variety in ticket selection. Orders are able to be overnighted to Alaska! Fantastic customer service!

Cons: I wish there was a way to reorder duplicate tickets, with only date changes. I'd like to order from my phone.

Pros: The customer service from Purplepass makes the entire process simple and easy to operate. The system itself is extremely user friendly and with over 150 volunteers that is a necessity.

Pros: We've worked with three other ticketing vendors in the past six years, and Purple Pass is by far the best. For starters, their customer service level is amazing. They get back to you promptly, are super friendly, and work to resolve everything quickly. Their event setups are pretty detailed and customizable, and they will work with you to fine-tune things further per your event needs. Their check-in kiosks and POS check-in hand-helds are super easy to use at the gate or Registration. Events integrate great with our Word Press site and they work to customize things further if need be. Overall, just a fantastic experience.

Overall: Ease of use. Multiple options conducive to our event needs. Fast check-in for attendees. And excellent customer service.

Pros: I love that they can build a seating map based upon limited information and they don't charge for it. Their customer service is excellent
The interface is mostly very good
Their box office features are very well integrated
A total solution

Cons: Their reporting could use some improvement. There is definitely a learning curve to coax out the information you're looking for.

Pros: This system is the easiest system we have used. Great customer support. I liked how it was easy to upload photos/videos and and a description to your event page.

Cons: Needs a couple more ticket options. This product was cost effective for my organization and PurplePass's customer service was top notch.

Pros: How easy it was to use. The way it stores past events on the same account. I liked the way we could specialize the type of tickets we sold .. e.g. Promo tickets or VIP

Cons: Maybe just the wait time on the check, and not being notified when tickets are being sold but nothing major, overall great experience.

Pros: The events can be customized however you need, which is great for a small venue like ours that is always changing.

Cons: Some of the features are a bit confusing to get a handle on. The customer service has been effective in this regard, and everything that I've been confused about has been explained

Pros: This system is the easiest and most robust system we have used, however the customer support is on a whole new level. Always there when we needed them and attentive to needs.

Cons: We have not had any issues that were not resolved quickly. Only issues have been with something that we did incorrectly.

Overall: Ability to offer ticketing to our venue efficiently and professionally

PurplePass is a great value for my money and is very user friendly and efficient

Pros: Website is easy to use, Ticket stock ships to home within a day or 2 most. They are very fast and on point here

Cons: They are pretty on point here with very few errors. The original tickets were a bit plane but they have recently added a feature for a higher quality ticket print . No complaints

Great user interface, easy to navigate and simple for attendees to buy the tickets to the event.

Pros: For the most part, the interface is very intuitive and easy to use. Purplepass has added/changed features we needed making the process seamless.

Cons: The merchant interface for the concession stand did not meet our need at first, however, Purplepass worked with us to update the software.

Overall: Much better interface and ease of use compared to our prior ticketing system.

Outstanding and cost effective for our non-profit!

Pros: We have never used bar-coded tickets before - I loved how we could associate each one a specific person and if/when they came to our event. The handy-dandy scanner to input ticket serial numbers when preparing for the event was great too! This product was cost effective for my organization and PurplePass's customer service was top notch.

Pros: Easy to use and set up events. Customer feedback has been all positive and the cloud ticketing us just what we needed.

Cons: Just being honest...The equipment rental program. Very expensive IMHO for what you get if it it even needed. A true cloud company would not need this. Still have no problem so far with PP

Pros: All fees are passed to the patron.

Cons: I don't think PurplePass is good for finding us new patrons.

Overall: For most events, PurplePass is the best value for us. We are able to pass all the processing costs to the patron, which saves us a lot. Other sites might be better for patrons finding your event, but if they already have found you and just want to purchase a ticket, this is great.

Overall: I've used Purple Pass multiple times for my business and I will never go through anyone else. I was first referred by a friend because of their prices. I've been to their office in San Diego and was extremely impressed by their attitude, student mentality, and work ethic. They have gone out their way to put custom symbols, last minute corrections to my projects, express order, even direct delivery, all at little to no charge. As long as I'm hosting events I will use Purple Pass, because they go the extra mile for their customers. Big thanks to Purple Pass and it's team.

Matt, Thanks for the great feedback! Regarding your comment about not being able to see how many tickets have been redeemed, you can view this in real-time from your promoter login. Log into your account, go to Stats and click on the "Attendance" tab. This will show you all of your redeemed tickets graphed out in 1 hour, 30 minute, or 15 minute intervals. Comments: This Team has what it takes to go the distance in Life. They have the key attributes of a successful enterprise. We look for relationships with people who have the Capacity and the Integrity to operate in this competitive Creative world of ours. Often times you find folks who have the Capacity (able and experienced in their craft) but, may not be totally trustworthy. On the other hand, people with the Integrity (honest with a great work ethic) may not have the knowledge and experience to perform at the levels our industry requires. So, it is refreshing to find people and Teams that exhibit both characteristics. The folks at Purple Pass, especially Brandon Foy and Gabriel personify both character traits.
They are true to their word, go the extra mile and they deliver results....on time.

Pros: Ease of operation due to a logical sequence that allows for just a few minutes of training to get volunteer cashiers up to speed.

Overall: Our non-profit has an annual event with on line and on site box office sales. Two years ago Purple Pass Ticketing was there for us by customizing the on line design and then on site support at the event. The attendance at was about 6,000. The hardware and software combination was excellent. Purple Pass Techs were there to solve problems. None of which were caused by their hardware or software setup. Last year leadership decided to go with a different company. That was a big mistake. We survived, but the stomach acid was brutal. I am hoping we can go back to Purple Pass this year. That will be my vote!

Overall: In the past Rockin For The Cure, Inc. has worked with other Ticketing companies and they were ok, didn't knock our socks off, and then came Purplepass. We couldn't be happier. Everything about this company speaks quality and professionalism. There are by your side every step of the way, answering any questions or concerns you may have. These days not too many companies take pride in going above and beyond, but Purplepass does. If you hosting an event and you want a company that is going to be with you, guide you and help to ensure you event is a success, do yourself a favor and call Purplepass, you'll be glad you did!

Recommendations to other buyers: Do yourself a favor and use it!

Comments: I am co-founder of an event-related business launching in Feb 2017. We put on events across North America, with 40+ events planned for our launch, and growing.

My business partner had been using Purplepass for years. Her opinion was that Purplepass offered the best dependability and customer service of any ticketing solution, and should be the first choice for our new venture. I had suggested possibly handling ticketing ourselves, but we ultimately decided against it. My experience over the past months fully supports that this decision was correct.

For our new business, we had the need for powerful features, including a complex integration of Purplepass' API with our web platform. Purplepass worked with us over several weeks to help integrate their API with our custom application. They were extremely responsive and helpful throughout this process. In fact, Purplepass even modified their API to add features we needed!

Whenever I had a technical question or request, I would receive a highly competent, helpful, and friendly response in very short time frames. When we needed it, we could easily phone and talk to someone highly knowledgeable from Purplepass. It's so rare in this age of customer service outsourcing to consistently receive such high quality support.

Not only that, but their product is truly excellent, and I have confidence in it. Their platform has very powerful features, and is lightning fast to use - in fact I can't think of another site that feels snappier from a user perspective. The reporting and statistics features on their website are deep and helpful. They support ticketing across all our North American jurisdictions. They have a great interface that allows easily generating widgets that can be quickly embedded on our website to sell tickets for our various events. And they seem to add new features all the time.

It gives me incredible piece of mind to know that, should we encounter any time-sensitive issues with ticketing during our events, this level of support will be available for us and our customers. Not needing to provide our own in-house support for ticketing is a huge benefit that should not be discounted.

I strongly recommend giving serious consideration to Purplepass as your ticketing solution.

Comments: Brandon&Gabe are all in. They bent over backward to learn everything about our ticketing needs. They answered 100's of questions and even made custom changes to our exhibitor guest ticket program. Their equipment was great - and having Brandon onsite during the show was worth every penny. The reporting tools are excellent and we were very pleased with the whole experience.

Overall: Gabe and his team are wonderful to work with and very responsive. When I needed a report they didn't have a template for, Gabe created it for me! I have also received calls from customer service reps suggesting we add options that our customers are requesting, which increases our ticket sales. Everyone I have come in contact with at Purple Pass has always been helpful and polite. I highly recommend Purple Pass for anyone that is looking for a ticketing platform that is easy to use, cost effective and customer service oriented.

Comments: In our 2nd year the IE Taco Festival had grown into a highly attended event. This year was no different. We had approx 8k-10k attendees and Purpe Pass made it easy. We had never incorporated a POS system into our festivals however with purple passes real time tracking features and ease of use with their equipment it was really a no brainer.

Gabriel and his wonderful team came out to our event, trained volunteers (on event day) and in less than 10 minutes they were ready to go! The purple pass team not only stayed the entire day but stepped in to help work during the peak of sales!

Overall Purple Pass offered the complete solution for our event needs and provided data that we will use to improve on sales and increase success. Purple Pass was a win for iHeart!

Comments: As a nonprofit organization, the all-volunteer Temecula Education Foundation (TEF) strives to spend its resources as effectively and efficiently as possible. Using the Purplepass platform helps us do that by allowing us in-house management of event ticketing and online class registration. We received excellent customer service in both endeavors. The in-person support exceeded expectations for the 2016 Taste of Temecula Valley (TOTV). PP online and phone support were outstanding for our TEF-managed registration for 2016 summer school classes. Considering we were implementing a new system, both events ran surprisingly well. I am not a technical person, but the system is very intuitive, and the tutorials are very helpful. The post-event data collection feature was an eye opener; it will be tremendously helpful as TEF looks to future marketing efforts. Tracking financial transactions and receiving payment were easily managed. Post events, I appreciate the opportunity to provide feedback and receive PP¿s improvement recommendations. There's a little bit of a learning curve, but overall, Purplepass ticketing has been a win-win for our organization.

Comments: We have used Purplepass for the last 4 years for The Taste of Coronado. I have been very pleased with the ease of setting up tickets sales, watching the sales and stats, checking people in and new this year the mobile box office! We will continue to use PP for our event and recommend to others hosting events. My only suggestion would be to have a"sale completed" screen after the CC is processed, many people thought it didnt go through and charged the customer twice.

Comments: ICMCA used PurplePass for a huge event with more 2200 seats in the auditorium. Once set up, the software was easy to use and intuitive. Once we opened ticketing , our audience did not have any issues in buying tickets and the process was very smooth.

In a few rare cases the seating map was slow in loading, which may be due to the customers slow internet speeds. It would be good to have a *integrated* Payment system (something similar to Paypal) through which we can transfer money directly to our bank account *instantaneously*.

Good experience and would recommend this software to anyone. What made this really stand out was outstanding customer service by Brandon Foy and Gabriel Afana from PurplePass. Will definitely use them for our next event.

Comments: We had a few adjustments we needed to make during the 2 day event. Gabe of Purple Pass made those adjustments immediately and kept us purring right along. We had 4 cashiers to handle the cash transactions. We had 4 shifts during the 2 days with 4 cashiers and 2-4 scanners. They were all volunteers. The touchscreens and software was intuitive and training for each shift was quick and painless. Around half of our ticket sales were on line. Those guests only had to be scanned. In the future we will need less cashiers. We had some issues with QR codes which were poorly printed and some folks who printed the receipt and not the ticket. Some folks had tickets on their smart phones and the screens were hard to read with the scanners.
Gabe was right there and immediately solved those problems and kept the guests happy. The stats which were available any time for the asking were invaluable during the event and planning for our next one. This was our 2nd year with Purple Pass. Last year the system was good but we had problems with the broadband service and credit card processing. Not a Purple Pass caused problem. The software, the touch screens and scanner were all better than last year. They keep getting better and better. Comments: I was originally approached by Purple Pass when I was using a very large ticketing company that had horrible customer service, and would not pay me my advanced ticket sales because they said they direct deposited my money to a closed account.

Once I finally got my money back I emailed Purplepass back and was looking for the complete ticketing package. A company that would provide ticket stock, online ticket sales, web tracking links, easy soft ware to use, and also PurplePass employees to run my box office at my events.

They have definitley been able to do this exceptionally well. Additionally, Gabriel is always trying to connect his promoter clients with other Purple Pass venues to assist in expanding my business along with bringing more business into a purple pass venue as well.

Truly an exceptional company to work with, I have worked with them since 2013, and I can still say there has never been an issue or problem working with Purple Pass.

If only Facebook was this friendly, we would all be making money again like we were in Unlimited Myspace Event invite era.

Comments: Last year was the first year that our organization has requested to make a move to an online ticketing system to replace our ticket and pass fulfillment center, after 25 years.

After extensive review of all the ticketing platforms available to us, Purplepass was the only obvious choice. Although they did not have all the bells and whistles we were looking for, they worked extensively with us for weeks to tailor develop system wide updates and changes that conformed to our needs.

They have worked to create a system that fits our unique situation of handling 45 to 60 different performers on any given month. As a performing arts organization handling our own ticketing, and needing a solution that would encompass a dynamic pricing model, we found Purplepass exceptional in its versatility. Although we've just started using Purplepass, we've found that the system can easily handle our complicated schedule, including varying show dates and times, and pricing dependent on when our audience attends. Comments: Among a few ticketing solutions we investigated, we found Purplepass to be the most attractive from the user's perspective. Their interface to select seats simple stood out among the rest, and it super easy to configure. Our's was a special use case though, because we are membership based society which has several grades of membership. People already become members and are then given a choice of seats in their allocated zone. When we contacted Purplepass and told them our requirements, they responded back saying that it was a too complicated for their current system and that it will require them to change their internal engine to support this need. We however were very interested to go forward with this idea. At our end we created some web-services to access our data and made it available to Purplepass. Then we wrote a full requirement specification for Purplepass to implement. They started on the project a few weeks before the event and in one week or so, they had a prototype ready for us using our specification. We did some testing to make sure it met our needs, and went through a few more iterations perfecting it to an acceptable level. Note that this was done under a severe time crunch and Purplepass were very prompt in delivering our needs. We did launch a week before the event date and everyone was thrilled with the interface. As a bonus the interface also allowed the ability for members to re-allocate their seats after they have already selected their seats once. We also got thermal-printer tickets printed for the entire hall and rented scanners for box-office use. This was super easy to use. Overall I was very pleased with the experience and will use it going forward when we have big events like these.

To be honest, I have to also mention that the admin interface needs some work. It was a bit difficult for me to do the admin work by discovering it naturally. I had to go back and ask how to do simple things like seat re-allocation and re-zoning when I was expecting to discover it naturally. With the admin interface improved, this is clearly the best solution in the market.

Comments: I decided to try PurplePass because I needed a system more robust than others I've tried (i.e. Eventbrite, Brown Paper Tickets, etc) without the Ticketmaster fees. I loved the ease with which the service became integrated into our show, making the service invaluable to my team. At one point, we discovered a feature we felt could be used that PurplePass did not have. We made the suggestion and asked for it to be considered in future builds. Within a couple of weeks the feature was added. I don't think they will (or should!) do this for everyone but we loved that they saw something that could be beneficial to us, and to the service they offered, and they acted.

I do several large scale events each year, and many midrange events. I have already insisted PurplePass be incorporated into all future events. Thank you PurplePass for becoming a virtual member of our team!

Comments: The obvious con, price. I wish it didn't cost so much. I think a flat fee would be better. Pros a many. Kiosk equipment at no cost. Easy to use website. But the best perk is the customer service. I immediately upon signing up received an email from Gabe which included his cell phone number. I have called him 3 times, once after 5pm and he answered every time. He also stayed on the phone with me until all questions and issues were handled. I am a new customer and so far so good.

We just completed a series of three concerts in three different cities.
Total attendance was over 18,000. Purple Pass made the management of these events very easy. Because their assigned seating capability is rather new, there were a few bumps. However Gabriel, Brandon and their team worked hard to clear the road.

Comments: Kids Rock Free at Fender Center for the Performing Arts has been using Purple Pass for some time. We are a non-profit that supports education for kids ages 7-17, and we teach keyboard, drums, guitar, bass, and vocal as well as having a drumline & band. Comments: We have had all of the big companies like Flavorus & Ticket Fly come through our venue asking to sign up with us but in the end it comes down to the fact that the ease of use with Purplepass & the customer service aspect is 5-star in every way. The Box Office POS system they provide us with is HEADS & SHOULDERS above that of any other ticketing platform we have had experience with - it is by far the easier user interface and makes editing our events and selling tickets at the door a complete breeze.
