They made the transition seamless and simple. Our rep \[sensitive content hidden\] is so responsive and I never wait more than 24 hours for a resolution to an issue or help with something. I am very happy we made the switch to PurplePass.

Pros

It is incredibly user friendly and their customer support is some of the best. You cant beat the pricing for the functionality and ease of use you get with the platform. Ticketing is so easy and the Box Office platform has made out check in process so much more efficient.

Cons

The only thing I wish they had was the ability to have more than one user per account. We have multiple people that access our platform and I wish we had the ability to have unique user names for each person instead with access limits of one blanket user that has all access.

### "Best Customer Service and Value for the Money"

Purplepass has been an amazing value for the money, and as a smaller community non-profit orchestra we are fortunate to have found them. Because of Purplepass, we are able to offer our patrons reserved seating & season tickets with easy PDF delivery by email. We have the choice whether to pay the ticketing fees ourselves or pass those on to the patron. It's easy to edit our events and add discount codes and graphics. Payouts happen quickly once events are over. All in all, we are extremely happy with the platform and the customer service, and we intend to stay.

Pros

The thing I like most about using Purplepass is the terrific customer service. They are swift to respond no matter when I contact them. The fact that someone is available the day of a concert (like a Sunday afternoon matinee) to help makes all the difference.

Cons

Sometimes the steps to "do everything myself" with setting up a season of events can be confusing - but I think this has to do more with user error than a flaw in the system. Linking reserved seating and seating charts can be tricky, too. However, any inconvenience is always offset by helpful and responsive Purplepass staff.

I have had an extremely positive experience with purplepass. Building events is extremely easy and customizable to what I need. The security of the platform is great and if technical issues arise they are troubleshooted instantly and resolved quickly.

Pros

It is easy to use, and completely customizable. The platform allows me to host various events throughout the year from ticket events to registrations. Financial reporting is extremely transparent and quick. Troubleshooting any issues is fast and reliable

Cons

One thing that has come up on the POS side is the inability to use apple pay. I think costumers would appreciate that as an additional form of payment.

### "AWFUL EXPERIENCE THIS YEAR"

Recently HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. JUST AWFUL.

Pros

I used Purplepass Ticketing for quite some time now, because of their "live ticket agents" which is basically just an answering service - but have recently had HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES in not being able to sell tickets because they can't even find my show and not being able to receive payment after the fact.

Cons

MY ticket buyers call my office stating that the Purplepass ticketing call center doesn't even know about my concerts at all. Their "call center" couldn't find it AT ALL. NO MATTER HOW THEY SEARCHED for it. -Purplepass redid their website and my event was not EVEN LISTED ON THEIR CALENDAR. They said it was a 'temporary' issue. Thank you very much. I needed to sell tickets. It is harder than ever and they seemed to care less about this issue and didn't provide any alternative solution. - I cannot, absolutely not (I have tried 25x at least) access my payment after my last concert. They use Deluxe Payment Exchange for echecks. I have been locked out of my account for more than 10 days and not even the representatives at Deluxe Payment Exchange can get into my account! - Purplepass is not reachable by phone and has not provided an alternative way to get my payment. My event was AUGUST 17. It is now AUGUST 31 and I still have not received payment. I just received an email from Deluxe Payment that i now need to wait an additional 2 business days (It is SAT and Monday is a legal holiday) before I can even attempt to change my password again.) - Purplepass wanted me to do a Bank ACH form. I don't trust the company they are dealing with. If they can't even provide me with payment, provide a solution, log into my account even with me on the phone and are having major, ongoing issues with their website as stated by more than 2 of their live agents. - I used to use Brown Paper Tickets for years in the past and never had a problem with them. - Purple Pass does not even provide a way of downloading all ticket buyers information so we can upload their contact and snail mail addresses to market to them in the future. We have to cut and paste individually. It is so labor intensive. JUST AWFUL.

Please understand that Deluxe.com is a totally different company not related to us, and while we do not control their systems, we strive to assist our clients in resolving such issues. To that end, we offered multiple solutions to expedite your payment—including alternative accounts, overnight checks, ACH setup, and covering costs for a bank wire—to ensure you received your funds as swiftly as possible. Regarding the visibility of your event, we sincerely apologize for any confusion. Upon review, we found that the event was always searchable on our platform. Our investigation into the call recordings indicates that the guest didn't know how to spell the name of the performer and didn't know any other details about the event. Our team tried to help find it but it simply wasn't possible to find an event when the caller doesn't know any specifics about the event.

My experience with Purplepass has been excellent, and because of that, I've confidently recommended it to many folks. Purplepass support specialists (shoutout to \[sensitive content hidden\] .!) are there to help long after implementation. Whether it's learning new features or finding ways to accomplish something specific, they are knowledgeable, personable, and easy to reach. They are also willing to train new users on aspects of the platform, which makes it easier when there is staff turnover. They act as a partner in our operations, and it keeps our team from missing a beat.

Pros

Purplepass truly fits all of our needs. The versatility has allowed us to expand our usage beyond what we thought was possible. It was initially purchased to handle our event management and ticketing. Our Foundation office was able to expand on that and use it seamlessly for athletic events, student club fundraisers, and so much more. Our greatest test of the system was our annual gala. We received such high praise from our attendees. We are grateful for Purplepass for giving a great experience, whether it be to our guests or staff. It truly helps our organization shine.

Cons

There are not any features that we are unhappy with. We are excited for the addition of ApplePay as a payment option.

The highlights of my experience are the customer support, value for money, Box Office operations, and flexibility. I think the hardware could be improved, payouts could be expidited faster, and the back end, or how you make an event could use a facelift.

Pros

Overall, the software features an pretty intuitive interface, ensuring an average learning curve for new users. The customer service team is acknowledged for assisting users in navigating these initial challenges. It's an good value for the money, offering features and Event Ticketing at a competitive price. The Customer Service is great at assisting and solving problems.

Cons

The the payout process could be a bit faster. My company has experienced problems with the quality of the hardware, like scanners working improperly or, cords, and charging issues, leading to disruptions during events. The backside could benefit from a more modern design and improved usability.

It was most attractive because of the "No Hidden Fees" Purplepass explicitly states that there are no signup fees, contracts, map building fees, or box office fees. This contrasts with some platforms that have hidden fees that can inflate the overall cost.

### "As simple/complex as you need, actual pro-active support, easy user experience"

I am a former IT Analyst so I was able to plow through and set up ticketing with minimal support. The ticket sales were magical. The only issues we have had have been a few people who couldn't check out (no specifics so likely user error). We added them manually to a will call list and had them pay at the door. It's very easy to check on ticket sales, confirm purchases, and make refunds. I had barely looked at the POS before opening night when my box office person was late, I plopped my inexperienced 17-yr old daughter in front of it with a 2 minute training. Her only complaint after was that I didn't have a card scanner (we now have one). The data looked great and the POS reporting was also very simple and helpful for post-show analysis. If you have the option, start simply and grow in complexity as you learn the system. The staff is there to support and brainstorm with you, if you need it.

Pros

We are a young community theater wanting to grow. PurplePass has the flexibility for simple or complex events that can be customized as much or little as we want. Plus we can pass the credit card fees on to the ticket buyers but not charge them a hefty "ticketing" fee. We can also add a "donate" button and collect non-profit gifts when they check out--along with some custom questions that help build our audience.

Cons

Set up is more complicated than just filling in Show Title, Ticket Price, and Dates. There is a lot of hand holding built in to the system and great response from support, but it will take time to get answers to all the questions from your organization and venue, and decide on the workflow. The more you want to customize, the more time you will need to allow to get it set up correctly. It gets easier each time.

Purplepass has been an amazing find for our organization. We were looking for a ticketing system that would being just as intuitive for us as it was for our audience, while also being const efficient for both, and Purplepass could not be beat.

Pros

Purplepass is a fairly intuitive platform, easy to navigate and it takes no time to set up a new event. Their system is deigned with both the customer and the customer's audience in mind. Their staff are always prompt and friendly and incredibly helpful when you have a question. Best of all, the cost to our organization is zero, Purplepass service fees are minimal and can be absorbed by your organization or passed along to the audience member, so we just adjust out pricing to offset those small costs.

Cons

We have had no significant issues. Purplepass has made adjustments for us as we needed them to and are working on updating some things that we had asked them about, again showing that they are responsive and have their customers best interests at heart.

My overall experience with purplepass is that as long as I am in business, I will use it. It's easy and very effective.

Pros

Purplepass is the most user friendly ticketing site we have used. The support received is top shelf and always has been. Implementing this into our events was very easy and the number of features Purplepass is right up there with all the rest. We frequently use Purplepass for events especially in and around the bigger cities but the smaller markets are just as easy to integrate with our systems as well.

Cons

Can't use it enough. The Purplepass system is the easiest system we have used.

PurplePass has been an incredible asset to our company. We travel the country putting on performances in dozens of venues and the Purplepass platform makes it possible for us to sell reserved seats at multiple price points in an incredibly user friendly seating map based purchasing experience. The on location box office aspect runs smoothly thanks to the hardware provided such as hand scanners and point of sale system. We are really happy we found Purplepass.

Pros

Purplepass has a great user experience for our customers, very clean and streamlined. On the back end, creating events is a really straightforward procees, with the ability to customize a lot of features. The best part of using Purplepass is the incredible customer service and tech support they offer.

Cons

In the 18 months we have been using Purplepass we have had very minimal issues, and any hiccups are resolved quickly. As they grow and roll out updates to their equipment there are sometimes complications, but tech support is amazing.

I have found PP very easy to work with when setting up events, retrieving reports, and paying invoices. What I like and appreciate the most is our rep, \[sensitive content hidden\] PurplePass has worked very well for our Performing Arts Department and allowed us to easily manage our ticket sales and reporting. But in the event of any problem or issue, \[sensitive content hidden\] has made every experience painless. He is quick to respond, efficient in his resolutions, and always helps with a friendly professionalism that makes working with PurplePass effortless. His guidance and his patience has helped so much when I needed to learn everything almost overnight to cover for our Box Office manager who had to go out on a lengthy medical leave. We have been using Purplepass since 2020 for our ticketed events. They make it so easy to set-up events, help solve problems when we want to make changes, communicate quickly via phone or email, and provide excellent customer service to our patrons. Using Purplepass has made our ticketing process more streamlined, helped sell additional tickets for our program, and has allowed us to easily incorporate online ticket sales through our website for our events.

Cons

Nothing - everything has been wonderful! Purplepass makes online ticketing so easy to do that our organization uses it for all of our programming.

I think Purple Pass was the exact match for our event. I felt educated throughout the whole process and never felt left alone to figure things out. They were easy to get in contact with, quick to explain all aspects of our event. I loved being able to accurately tract the progress and all the logistics of tickets being sold. There were specific categories to break down sales.

Pros

Purplepass had excellent customer service. Anytime I had a question or was confused about the topic I would email my rep and they quickly got back with me. Their communication was top tier. I never felt like I was asking too many questions or needing too much guidance. I also felt like the system was very secure and as we worked through it. I think the fee they charged was very reasonable and worth it coming from the producer. The system was very easy to use when scanning prepurchased tickets or when purchasing with cash at the gate.

Cons

The only issue we had was tha amount of banks that flag purple pass and do not allow cards to purchase via their website initially. I appreciate the security measures and not positive this is even something purple pass can improve, but wish there was a way to decrease the amount of people that had to step aside to authorize the purchase.

Service is great. Although we are on the East coast, still very responsive. Almost no down time when ticket sales are going. Would highly recommend to someone considering ticket sales options.

Wish it was on our server when internet goes out. Only happened a few times over last 8 years though.

The broadcast email feature has become one of our primary marketing tools. We simply generate an email list to advertise upcoming events, and we see immediate results in our ticket sales on the following days.

Pros

I am relatively new in using Purplepass and find it very easy to use. The information generated from the reports we can get is so helpful in targeting future customers.

Cons

I really haven't found anything that I don't like about it. So far, it has provided me with all the information I need for reaching out to our customers.

### "A++ Purplepass is the Gold Standard"

I have been using Purplepass for over 6 years now for all of my pro wrestling events at Immortal Championship Wrestling and I could not ask for an easier, more professional transaction with purchasing tickets than Purplepass, ontop of that I always use their online ticketing sales for the events as well which is just as easy to set up and professional looking as the physical tickets!

I have been using purplepass for over 6 years now and have nothing but good to say! Very easy to use, always lightning fast shipping, very professional design!

Pros

I used it to purchase a ticket to go to a free concert and it was one of the easiest processes to getting a ticket for an event.

Cons

There was not much to not like about Purplepass because there were no problems with the process. It was very easy.
