My overall experience with Purplepass has been great all around. If there is a problem, I will contact my rep about it and there is always a fast response back with reasoning or a solution. I have thought about transferring to Eventbrite or Ticketmaster because they are more popular, but you can't beat Purplepass pricing and customer service.

Pros

I like how fast their customer service is. If I have any problem at all, I email my rep and he gets back to me within the day.

Cons

We have two different Purplepass websites and it gets confusing remembering which one we use. Some of our guests order tickets through the widget we put on our website, and others order through the purplepass website, which I have no idea how they get access to that one.

Professional and customized ticket printing! We use a muti-ticket system for box office and the process is great!

Cons

The new upgrades are working really in 2025. Purple Pass has made the set up and box office a more user friendly service!

We have had problems with other online ticketing services, but none with Purplepass. Setup was quick and easy and our customer rep guided us through the process the first time. Also it is very easy to monitor our sales. Would highly recommend.

Pros

Ease of use and quick payment. Also great customer support. Online event platform is simple and clear to navigate.

Cons

So far we have not found any negatives, unlike other past ticketing companies we have used.

Overall, our experience with Purple Pass has been very positive. We will continue with Purple Pass and have recommended them to other theater companies in our area.

Pros

Purple Pass has phone service to assist our patrons. I also love how responsive our rep is when we need help. The interface is easy to use and it doesn't take long to set up an event.

Cons

The reporting is a bit cumbersome and it's not as easy as I would like to get the information that we need.

My experience with Purple Pass has been efficient, easy and time saving. Our users are no longer asking questions or having a hard time buying tickets.

Pros

Easily accessible for users and for us promoters. I also enjoy that we can put tickets onto our website so users do not have to switch between websites.

Cons

Our users did have a learning curve when we switched over to Purple pass, however new users had an easy time navigating for tickets.

It was great once I realized that my event name was the way to stand out. I had to be unique and creative with the title of my event.

Pros

The ease of use. It was very easy to figure out. It wasn’t hard to upload videos and pictures. I didn’t need any help to add links. I was also able to select from various options.

Cons

Trying to find my event was the hardest thing in what I like the least. But once I figured out the trick, it was good to go.

We've been using it for years to run our planetarium shows for our local community. The few times I've had to reach out to customer service, I've received prompt help.

Pros

It makes it easy enough to sell tickets for an event. Not much more to say than that, it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Cons

I'd like to ability to re-list a show that was accidentally cancelled, but that's really my only gripe. Also, sometimes people get confused for when their show time actually is as the emailed ticket isn't as clear as it could be.

Easy with no doubt about where you are seated, the venue or the cost. We will continue to use Purple Pass Ticketing.

Pros

My organization uses Purplepass exclusively for our events, and we find it to be quite foolproof (literally). We live in a retirement community, and it’s easy to walk some of our elderly clients through the on-line ticket purchasing process.

Cons

There is nothing I feel should be improved upon. It is an easy process to complete, and what I like most is that at the end of the purchase, there is no doubt about what ticket seating you have, the cost, or the venue.

PP is a life saver for us since BPT messed up. PP has everything we need and is easy to use! Love it! Love the staff!

Pros

Their Customer Service is TOP KNOTCH! Quite surprised that they ANSWER THE PHONE!! Hassle free and they know what they're doing!

Cons

Have no problems with them at all! Been with PP since BPT messed up. And feel confident they have our backs!

Overall my experience with Purplepass has been positive. Every time I had a question or concern I could call our contact and he'd walk me through it.

Pros

The customer service is extremely helpful and friendly. Also the ticketing interface is very user friendly.

Cons

The only thing that I liked least about Purplepass Ticketing is that we had to order the iPad card readers from the company anytime we did an event. However they are now working with us to get card readers.

This is a great company that I could always reach out to and get help from if needed, and who is constantly adding new features and making sure that I was totally happy and didn't need anything. I really appreciate the customer service as well as how easy it is for those buying tickets to navigate.

Pros

The user experience is so easy. In the past with other ticket companies, we'd have a lot of emails and calls form people needing help with making their purchase, but this year we had hardly any at all. It was so much more intuitive. They also have GREAT customer service (as in... they actually HAVE customer service with actual people you can talk to!)

Cons

We ran into a couple of people who wanted to make partial refunds (like they bought 5 tickets but only needed 3) and we had to refund the entire order and make them purchase the seats they wanted again, as there isn't currently a way to do that. If there were a slightly easier way to give refunds and make exchanges (that was a little difficult to navigate at first as well!) then I would be totally happy.

I was really impressed with their platform. Setting up my event was surprisingly smooth. I was able to customize everything from ticket types to seating options without feeling overwhelmed. Purplepass exceeded my expectations.

Pros

Customer service was a plus. If I had a question, the Purplepass Team responded quickly and were super helpful.

Cons

I can’t think of anything derogatory. Perhaps, receiving my money more quickly. That being said, I would use Purplepass again.

I really like this program and working with Purplepass has been so easy and helpful! I can't think of any reason not to recommend them, truthfully.

Pros

It is SO easy to use and the customer service is super helpful! Whenever I have a problem or am confused, I always get help super quick and It's easy to understand. They also are super supportive and helpful when it comes to exchanging equipment!

Cons

It's hard to name any, actually. But I think the biggest issue is how tedious it can be to add promo codes, but even that isn't terrible.

It's been incredible any questions I have are answered right away and they walk me through the process when I get stuck.

Pros

PurplePass has great one on one customer service. Software offers everything the other ticket platforms do with scanning on your phone, updating tickets, easy upload of images and text. Plus creating a Day Pass, using my own merchant processing, connecting to streaming platform to sell tickets and generate additional revenue.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. I am very pleased with this ticketing platform so far.

The customer service was excellent. Whenever we had a question they got back to us immediately.

Pros

The transaction reporting capabilities are fantastic. We can slice and dice the data through the use of simple radio buttons, and it makes me look quite smart when I produce demographic data on command.

Cons

We found the remote ticket scanners to be a little slow on the ticket verification process.

It was my first time using purple pass for my event and was overall satisfied with the process of setting up the link for ticket purchases.

Pros

The ticket link set up was very easy to use and follow. It guides you step by step and is easy to go back and make edits / adjustments.

Cons

I wasn’t particularly sure how I would be able to check in or scan tickets . I did receive a master list of all tickets sold but was still unsure how I would be able to scan them .

Pros

I was in a bit of a pinch trying to get a ticketing service when our school's original one was no longer available. PurplePass was accommodating and willing to help from the start.

Cons

There really isn't anything that I didn't like or appreciate about PurplePass. The box office site was user friendly as well.
