Accounting Seed definitely takes quite a bit of time to learn and familiarize yourself with. Even with an accounting background the system can be quite difficult. However, once you get the hang of things, navigation is much easier and the automated tasks can be very helpful.

Pros

I love the customization Accounting Seed offers. Our company has very specific requirements for our reports and the flexibility Accounting Seed provides is able to accommodate to those needs.

Cons

Some of the features seem a bit outdated- specifically the input pages. Oftentimes I find that reports fail to generate which is what I rely on the most.

If you are considering - I would list out IN DETAIL all pieces you currently have and expect to retain in the Acctg Seed. Our transition was to include 5yrs of history - which only came as P&L level, no detail for drill down - so we will need to retain our QB for another 3 yrs. Key management reports that were supposed to be duplicated are "not possible" in AS.

Pros

Transitioned to AS to streamline since our Transportation Mgmt System is built on salesforce. "Integrated" is overstatement -- however, daily accounting transactions are easier for the accounting team

Cons

Financial management reporting is horrible. No gross profit lines, no cash flow reporting, and only recent capabilities to view financials by cumulative time frames -- a HUGE step back from QB.

Transportation Mgmt System is also on Salesforce platform - was looking for seamless integration

My overall experience with Accounting Seed has been a mix of strengths and challenges. On the positive side, I appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce and it really streamlines our financial data within our CRM, which saves time and keeps things centralized. The system is highly customizable, which has been great for workflows and reports to our specific business processes.

Pros

Accounting Seed has easy integration with Salesforce. The ease of usability has been the standout feature. Accounting seed has helped our team simplify accountancy.

Cons

Limited out of the box reporting. Reporting is basic, users need to build complex reports manually or rely on third party solutions.

My experience has been exceptional, it is a powerful tool for managing accounts within salesforce ecosystem. There is a bit of learning curve in the beginning however once everything is set up it becomes reliable and efficient solution.

Pros

Accounting seed has been the most important tool in our company for accounting. It keeps everything at one place which makes it easy. I like the customization of the app.

Cons

Setting up for the first time is time consuming especially for beginners. Some of the reporting can be improved.

If you are searching for a program to have a complete picture of your business just try to use Accounting Seed you would be satisfied.

Pros

The most point about this program is this ability to go from leads to sales to invoicing within one platform.

Cons

The least thing is this option to reporting custom and at meanwhile Salesforce reporting.
