Honestly, now that it is integrated well, we simply upload monthly content, schedule it, and forget about it. It's been a great part of our marketing channels. Pros The web interface is easy to use. We have had issues when uploading video files and have had to rely on support to help us. It's a quick process to add new messaging and over time, the up time has improved with our systems. Cons The only difficulty we had was when we tried to integrate with our government channel on Comcast. We finally chose to no longer do that due to the difficulties but the team tried to help us. Communication about breaks in services aren't great. Pros We can load slides and manage the content offsite. Cons It has a lot of limitations and doesn't allow us to do some of the things we want to do. For example, we don't have the option of showing certain slides at specific times. The set up was relatively seamless. Pros We could use and control multiple tv's at different locations and set each one up differently which is important since different locations have different services. It is easy to use and set up and the customer service before and after the sale was pretty awesome. Cons There are some issues on limitations on Integrations, we use our TV's for music since we don't have a speaker system in our building. Being able to use a music streaming service would help with this instead of having to use a YOUTUBE channel that is controlled by a user. Cons The site doesn't seem as intuitive as other software, but after chatting with support it's been great. If your internet goes offline for some reason and your device isn't connected to the internet, you can receive an email notification to know to get your device reconnected. To set up notifications (if you haven't already) go to the truDigital platform and click Player Status > Notifications > Check "Enabled"> Enter email address > Save Changes. It has allowed us to communicate with our clients about services, community resources, and eligibility requirements. Using has made it possible to remove all of the paper signs taped to the wall. Our lobby looks really professional and clients are better informed. It has been a blessing to our agency. Pros The liked the person I spoke with over the phone. He was very helpful and I was able to connect and get my powerpoint up and running in no time. I was surprised by how easy it was to get started. Cons There is nothing that we don't like about the software. So far so good. Cons It is difficult to choose the correct app. Half the time it's not the correct size and it looks horrible. There are VERY limited apps that have to be downloaded for the range of content I want to put up. It is a pain to update each monitor individually. It is tedious. You can easily see what's live on the screens, and establish if any connections are offline. Cons At first the software is a little confusing to learn, but once you've used it a couple of times it's a pretty slick process to update and create new content. Overall great process. Pros I like that is very easy to use and is very functional. Your team always is fast and very helpful when I have a question or a problem! Cons The program is a little on the slower side when uploading a new slide, and you have to hit Save 4 times, which sometimes is tedious. And then one you upload a slide, to go back to the player list, the only way to do that is to hit "File Manager" making you go through. There should be a "Manage Playlist" button taking you back to the other players to upload your next slide. Review Source SP Scott P. Pros I like that I can post things to various screens in our facility. Cons The user interface/UX honestly feels like it needs a major overhaul to be more "What you see is what you get". It looks like it was designed in the 90's in terms of not being able to edit the text/images etc. in real time. When free programs like Canva are easier to design and navigate in than a program that we're effectively paying thousands of dollars for, it can get frustrating. " April 3, 2019 4.0 Overall, it was a good experience. However, the end resulted in us using a different company only due to the demographic of people we have that would be using the software. Our younger users had no issue, the older users - those who would be using it the most - had some challenges. Pros I like the intuitive design and structure of the dashboard. It really worked well and was easy to explain to additional users. Cons The learning curve of actually USING the dashboard is what was a big hangup for a lot of our older admins that would be using the software.
