The educators are using less time documenting. They are actually documenting more however using less time. Himama makes it so easy to do this. I also love the print outs of sleep checks and schedules. really cool.

Pros

i love that parents contact me or stop me in the hallways and tell me how great it is that they have such good communication with their child's teacher!

Cons

The glitches. i also think that the extra package to keep track of employees time etc should be included in the price tag

Pros

I liked how the teachers could let me know what all went on during the day. I like how we can send messages to the teachers and also receive messages.

Cons

I would like there to be a way that when a message is sent to the teachers that it didn't have to go to the director as well. I would also like to be able to "blow up" a picture that is sent via HiMama so we could see it better. I also would like the daily updates to be sent out a little earlier than what they currently are.

HiMama has been essential as a parent in the workforce. It allows me quick glimpses into the day of my child, and allows me to communicate with his teachers immediately as needed.

Pros

I love the ability to communicate with the teachers and director of my child's school so easily.

There is nothing about this product that I dislike.

My overall experience with official is not good. Believe they make program sounds so great just to sell it to you and then customer service slow and not good! Not happy with program or customer service. I've said this many times since June but goes no where.

Pros

Communication with parents was a plus to this program when it works

Cons

\-calendars seems to just disappear for center and can't figure out -any issues take forever to fix and staff usually say it's bug and have no fix for it -assessments should have way to mark each individual kid and not based on activities -parents should be able to mark when baby last ate, changed, and woke up before they come to center \_health notes should be able to be visible by parents -shouldn't have to refresh page all the time -Communciation with staff should be easier on this program too. Should go to message center and not personal email (this was a selling point to me and very disappointed with it)

Overall, my experience with HiMama was terrific! The features are varied, the system is remarkable and the progression that it gives to children is breathtaking. I love this app.

Pros

This is seriously the best software ever ! I use this application because i work part-time at a daycare center, and himama allowed the children to progress in many ways thanks to the varied options they feature. It also made doing the attendance so much easier for both the staff and the parents. But my favourite thing about this app is that it enables the parents to track the children's progress and even communicate with the staff to get more information about their child's progress. In the end i can say that HiMama app is an amazing app that makes daycare life easier and more progressive.

Cons

There is mostly nothing bothering me about this app other than slight network issues that happen rarely, but overall it works perfectly.

Pros

This app allows me to part of my littles day even though I’m back at work. As a new parent you dread the return to work and losing the ability to watch your little one grow. With the HiMama app I can see the laughter, joy and growth my little one experiences at her daycare centre. And the best part, our long distance family gets to see the updates as well.

Cons

Navigating the app can be a bit cumbersome and depends on the caregivers ability to enter information in accurately.

Pros

The app is helpful for parents to both know what is occurring during the day at their child’s daycare and to allow childcare providers and parents to communicate to ensure that the children’s best interests are met.

Cons

Recent updates caused the app to stop pushing notifications. Also, sometimes we don’t get the final report until hours after our child has left the daycare, which means that we don’t see what he has eaten during the day or how long he has slept during nap time. It would be beneficial to parents to see real time information even if a caveat is made that the final report will have the most accurate information.

Viewing the daily report before it is finalized. Parents would like to see the photos and nap time before report is finished. Only diapers are available instantly why is anything blurred out till it is finalized, but specifically the photos. In one version of the app it sends a nice email with the photo when it is uploaded and you can see the photo or photos before the report is finalized. Not sure if this is a daycare setup issue or just a version of the app issue, since sometimes it does work much better than others.

Pros

Easy to read the information in categorized groups as a parent you know where to look for what and what to expect

Cons

Customization from the user end and software not auto-updating. Some teachers have a different version with different features so the app works differently by user interface. When a picture is uploading some versions send out an email and the other does not.

I love that I am able to choose a vetted and verified sitter with HiMama. The ease of seeing what my kids do through the day brings me a peace of mind that they are safe, happy, and active.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to process the adjectives provided to describe the child or behavior. It isn’t very person centered

Pros

I love this app and how it keeps track of of EVERYTHING; food, diapers, naps, and pictures. Oh how I love receiving pictures of my little one. I also like how you can look back over the course of time to see patterns . He helps me as a mom to try and keep him on this schedule during the weekend.

Cons

I have notice a delay from the time things are posted until I receive a notification that there were posted. The delay also seems to be getting longer. I also wish my son's teachers could post videos on here. They have tried a few times and it never seems to work so they show me or my husband the videos when we pick him up.

I looked into several different apps. and chose Hi Mama. Hi Mama had the best overall features I was looking for. I wanted to be able to track and assess the children growth/ progress. I wanted a quicker and better way to communicate with our parents and give them a way to see their child's day. Plus I had a couple teachers that struggled with implementing the foundations. I got that and so much more with Hi Mama.

Pros

Easy to use Adds Foundations Parent communication tool and parents can see their child's day. Great tool for teachers to record the day, use for conferences, and for portfolios

Cons

It was expensive for a small center like ours and we still would love to use more of the features that Hi Mama has to offer us, but we just cannot afford it.

Reason for choosing Lillio

I chose Hi Mama because it was the total package. Everything I was looking for and needed all in one app.

Pros

This software is very easy to use and has many features. You can get your child's report. You can also track your child's other activities. Teachers can also use this software to monitor their student progress.

Cons

I can't see any error in HiMama. But I suggest keeping the savings option. By the way, I highly recommend this software for parents.

I have used this app. In Canada and now in the US for over 2 years. The app is easy to use some of the problems I see is that I can’t swipe the photos I have to go up and down. Also, I can’t zoom in to the picture. But I like it

this app was great at tracking my kid at daycare which is critical for both parents and daycare employees

Pros

This software was helpful in keeping up with my little boy at daycare; they used the app and had the parents download and use the app too. I was able to see pictures of our kid throughout the day, see what meals he was eating, when he was last changed, activities that he was participating in, etc.

Cons

the app was overall pretty good, not sure there are many cons. I was only a user, so I did not know what the app cost to roll out as an expense to the daycare.

As and educator, I’d like to see more of a breakdown in the developmental evidence section to be able to see areas that we need to work on with each child. I do like the pie graph but would love it broken down further.

Pros

I love HiMama! As an educator and mom, I get to see it from both sides. It is such a beneficial tool for doing assessments, communications with families, and keeping up to date in your child’s daily activities during their day. I’d definitely recommend HiMama

Cons

It’s not easy to switch back and forth if you’re a parent and an educator. It requires signing in and out each time. Maybe a parent version and an educator’s version would solve that issue?

It’s user friendly and we enjoy seeing what our daughter does and eat on a daily basis. Explaining their activities what their strengths and weaknesses are. Their attendance is also good and how many times they go to bathrooms. I love it

We don’t dislike anything. This app reassures parents that our kids are well taken care of and we can’t ask for anything better especially when it comes to our children

Pros

Getting the photos e-mailed directly once they are posted. It is great to see how my Daughter is doing during the day - it puts my mind at ease to see her smiling and having fun while learning etc..... (and allows me to stop worrying about her and focus on work).

Cons

Sometimes (due to the type of photo) it would be great to enlarge the photo (for when your child is in the background) but when you do this, the image gets way to fuzzy to see anything. Also, when clicking on Video on the e-mail (which takes you to the Site to login), it sometimes will not play unless you re-click on the Video on the actual site.

Pros

I love knowing what my child is doing each day at school. As a teacher, it's an amazing way to get the parents involved and communicate with them regularly. It's fairly is to train co-workers with the system depending on device and their level of comfort and knowledge while using technology.

Cons

I don't like that I can't get the tutorial videos to go away, even after watching them. I don't like how the system works with Samsung devices via the app or browser.

Pros

Game changer, if you are a helicopter mom like me but cannot always be around your kids...you need to get this ASAP. LOVE the sign in and sign off feature, now I know when my kid arrives home safely.

Cons

At this point, no complaints...maybe just the price but then again you are given value for the money spent.

Pros

I like how it has drastically improved the communication about our children’s day. I find the picture and videos feature an excellent feature that brightens my day. Details on their end of day report helps us understand what to expect in the evenings (did he/she eat a lot today or not, did he/she nap much today, etc)

Cons

I’d like the ability to save the videos from the app directly to my phone so I can easily share with our children’s grandparents and others.
