Cons I find it difficult to write a message on a picture and if it’s a collage and I try to scroll left or right it takes me to the next picture. It would be great if that could be fixed. It does let us contact parents quickly using the app. Cons The software does not allow you to have complete records of the children. There should be an area for the child's home address required for licensing, you should also be able to enter both parents with home addresses even if we don't have an email address for both in order to have complete record keeping. This information should show up under parent information. Some children's parents live at different addresses. When you enter information in the emergency area it doesn't stay in the order you entered it. Having this information in the system would help alot in the case of an emergency that you are not in the daycare but on a field trip. Reason for choosing Lillio It seemed to be the better product at the time but it does need some changes to be fantastic. I can update all of a childs daily info from their meals to naps, to activities to diaper changes, and I can even request supplies a child needs and update their childs mood. It is nice to see what is going on with my child during the day and have a quick way of communicating with the educators and director. Pros As a user, I like to see the updates throughout the day on my child. It is nice to know what he is eating, and toilet/nap occurrences. It helps me to keep his day regulated and on track when he is at home. Plus, I don't have to worry about feeding him too much of the same thing since I can see what he has had to eat. I also appreciate the pictures and the ability to share them with whoever I choose. Cons My only complaint is the Report feature, when a report is in progress, I have to click the report and click again over and over instead of just refreshing to get the report that is in progress updated. It is a very minor concern. I would also like a feature where documents can be uploaded permanently to the app so I can have easy access to the daycare's handbook. Review Source FJ Farzana J. Great for contacting parents if there is any health issues or warnings. Great tool for communicating upcoming events. Without crating waste (paper products etc) Would recommend or give a great review to anyone asking. Pros Easy to use. Pictures and updates are easy to read. Notifications are useful and descriptive enough to make a decision to view the update or pass. Cons Some of the updates that have pictures and text, The text is difficult to read. Also, I appreciate that the images and icons on the app are simple. It’s visually appealing and not too overdone. Cons There are a few glitches when selecting a photo to view. Pros The first problem I regularly have as a parent who uses the app, is when I receive an email(message) from a teacher, I cannot see who the message is from when I read the email coming from the app. The other problem I encounter is how long it takes to load the photos when I try to go back and scan through photos within the app. I would recommend the app to be easier to customize. For example, it took a lot of work to have my husband get the emails from daycare as well. It would be ideal that I could customize how often or even how I receive the messages. Pros I like the option to follow a calendar easily, so I can check things like what my kids are eating at school. I also enjoying being able to communicate with teachers through the app. Cons I don't like the pictures function. I would like teachers to be able to add individual pictures in a better fashion. we also have issues with who gets messages; my husband and I would like to get the same message from the teacher, but it seems to only get to one of us at a time. Let’s me know when she ate, what kind of diapers she’s had, and I occasionally get pictures of her! Pros I like that I get a daily very detailed report. The information is organized in an easy to read format and I love receiving pictures throughout the day. The messaging feature is perfect to communicate with my child’s teachers directly during the day without having to call. Cons I have no complaints about the software at this time.
