Pros

I receive simple updates about my child’s diet, their sleeping, and sometimes photo. It’s a great app to send a message to the director and ECE when we’re running late or have a Q. It’s also used to update us parents about lost or found items, or school activities. It’s well rounded and simple to navigate. Love it, and works well for multiple kids!

Cons

I had to learn to navigate it, but once I did it was easy.

Pros

I love the concept and awesome to see my kids throughout the day. I enjoy that everything is archived to go back and view later

Cons

The app is slow and laggy. Sometimes photos don’t load. It’s often tough to find what I’m looking for. Not overly user friendly

My husband and I love to get picture updates throughout the day of our little one at daycare. Also, it helps us see all the fun activities that she is doing in her classroom.

Cons

None! It is easy to use and does not take long to navigate and learn the app.

It’s been amazing

Pros

My child’s daycare uses the app, it’s easy to use, and keeps us up to date. We use it to communicate back and forth with the centre, we can easily view when my spouse or I have spoke to the workers.

Cons

None, we haven’t had any issues with it.

Overall, the HiMama is a nice app and a solid solution for daycare management in the right context.

Pros

The product is simple to use, has a decent interface, and covers everything a parent needs. Evaluating the product for use at our MDO there are few features it lacks in comparison to other products such as Brightwheel.

Cons

Sometimes the interface does not work as expected, making it difficult to maneuver.

I like most how I get a detailed report on everything my son does while in daycare, and they take lots of pictures

Cons

There is nothing I don't like about this application I have no complaints for using it or being able to get around to check out functions

Pros

Although I completely trust our daycare provider It adds another level of reassurance and peace of mind that my son is safe and happy while I am at work. I look forward to seeing his pictures throughout the day and keeping up to date on how his day is progressing.

Cons

None!!! I love how this app allows you to see things “real time”. I love how my son’s teachers can share photos and videos throughout the day!

Pros

It's very easy to use. Install the app, log in, get the updates. Could not be easier to keep in touch with the school, see what the kids are doing, see what/how much they ate, and even see some pictures.

Cons

No dislikes, to be honest. It's pretty good!

Makes pick up so much easier .. don’t have to ask if she ate/slept - already know all that info via the app. And what they did throughout the day :-)

Pros

I LOVE being able to see pictures of my daughter during her day. Even tho she is not with me, it puts me at ease seeing her smiling face throughout the day. I like being up to date on what she ate and how long she slept !! I really like being able to communicate with her teacher via the app as well !! 5 stars ⭐️ love it, can’t imagine sending my child to a provider without using HiMamma !

I love that my children’s teachers can alert me when items are needed for my child at school. Also, being able to receive pictures throughout the day is amazing.

Sometimes not all alerts come through but that may be how I have the settings selected.

I love being kept up to date on everything that goes on at my daughters daycare while she’s there. I get updates on what she eats, what activities she’s doing, if she slept... makes it a lot easier to be away from her.

Pros

I love getting daily pictures of my daughter and being able to see what she’s up to while I’m away from her.

Cons

I found it difficult at times to zoom or navigate through images on a specific day without reverting back to a previous day.

I don’t like that I have to wait till the report is closed after I picked my kids up from daycare to view pictures that are upload or notes.

Ease of use, photos can be shared with nominated family members instantly.

Cons

Low quality photos Missing reports... some parents get updates on meals, some only get updates on bathroom, some not at all. But the end of daw reports have them all.

I love getting emails with photos of my grandchild. It makes me very happy and brightens my day.

Pros

I can see my grandchild in daily activities at childcare.

Cons

It’s not a criticism of the software program, rather the childcare facility for the choice of photos they post. The choice of photos documents snack time, mealtimes, and group circle time with little consideration of ordinary moments in our child’s life at childcare.

Ability to send and receive messages. Ability to see pictures. Notification that a report has started- this lets me know my oldest has gotten off the bus.

Cons

At first it took a bit to get used to the functionality, but once I did it was easy to use.
