It’s also a great and easy way to communicate with his class teachers. Pros The ease of use and simplicity. I love being able to look back and see what my child’s day was like. I also like being able to send messages to my child’s teacher. Cons The software could be improved by allowing parents to communicate with the teachers only as opposed to the teacher and director or director only. For some reason the teachers can’t respond to my messages on hiMama. It would also be great if there were required fields to cut down on the amount of information that may be accidentally not documented in the app. Review Source KA Karen A. I feel at ease to know that my child is ok since I know what he is up to and that he is happy! Pros I love this software! It allows me to stay in touch with my son in preschool while I’m at work Cons sometimes the app is a bit slow if I want to zoom in to see my son it will jump back to another pic, it needs to be smoother. Perhaps a software update? I wish I could share via text or whatsapp some of the photos to my friends and family since the share application only goes through e-mail and a lot of people don’t check their email often. It gives an opportunity for parents to see what's happening with their child during their time at childcare centre. Pros I love the daily reports posted by children’s teachers, I also love how they can post photos and videos to the page too. The sharing with crew option is cool too to keep family members updated. Pros It is user-friendly and super easy to use. Cons That the checked-in students are not at the top of the page. The students checked-in should default to the top, then the students that are not checked-in or absent and then the students that have been checked out at the bottom. It is cumbersome and confusing to parents to have to search in the middle of the list when logically the students that are present should be at the top of the list. Cons The daycare doesn’t always update completely but I don’t think it’s because of the app itself. I started using it when my son started daycare and it’s made me feel great about him being there Pros I love how when the teachers update the app I can see everything in real time. Cons What I like least is that it doesn’t automatically refresh. When I click into the app I have to pull down to see the new things that have been added. Definitely not a deal breaker though.
