The quality of the shots are very good. Cons Whenever I click on the photo link to load a full page of the photo, it needs to routinely "relog" me into the software. This is irritating. If I’m being candid, I was a user with Brightwheel prior to using HiMama and I found that App to be far more superior than this one. If the App does more than what my experience has been thus far, I have not been introduced to it. With that said, I do enjoy receiving pictures throughout the day, highlighting what my child is doing from playing, to painting, baking and other daycare activities. It gives me an idea of how her day is going and also gives Mommy some peace of mind. Pros I like the alerts that I receive letting me know that a new update has been posted. Cons I don’t really see any other uses for it except receiving pictures but maybe that has to do with how much the administrator is utilizing the App. I also don’t like how you can’t share photos. Pros I like viewing videos and pictures that are loaded from the daycare site. Cons Too many clicks to get to a video playing then too many clicks to go back to the home screen to see more pics. Pros Easy of use, complete information available, useful dashboard and access to detailed information Cons The access to photos could be made better and a link to see all photos more visible. Also, moving to previous days photos form the i-phone is not easy and if there are more photos taken in one day if you do not pay attention it may not be clear to understand which are taken on which day. To be able to see that he is always smiling, having fun, interacting with friends and participating in activities really puts my mind at ease while working. Makes me feel like I’m not missing out too much of his day. It’s hard being away from your child during the day, but this app allows me to see what he is doing throughout the day which eases my mama guilt and distress from being away. Cons The only thing I do not like about this product is with his food input I do not know how much he ate. The app almost talks to you and guides you when you are a first time user. It is very practical. Cons I wish HiMama would allow daycare centers to create and customize the online forms to helps us with the enrollment process of children in the centre. HiMama is always advising centres to get all automatize and to create temples, but I wish they could provide that of us because at the end of the day I am not a super Hitech person. I wish HiMama would help us more in the intake of a family into the centre. Their photos don’t expire and it allows me to comment and chat with my child’s provider, real time. Pros I am constantly in the know on my children’s well-being despite not physically being present. December 30, 2019 5.0 Overall, I am very satisfied with the ease of use, as well as just how much thought has went into developing such a comprehensive app that makes teachers simplify the way they document, communicate, and assess children's learning! Pros The HiMama app is amazing in allowing teachers to document, communicate, assess, and track the children in their care. The HiMama app was a breeze to get started with at the beginning of this year! The teachers easily caught on to how to use the app, and the parents have loved how it keeps them informed! The customer service has been amazing too! They check in to see how things are going, answer any questions that come up and respond with answers ASAP, and let you know how you are doing! Would highly recommend this app for those working in the early childhood field! Amazing! Cons I can't think of any aspects that we are not liking. We love getting the pictures of our little one since we don't get to see her during the day. The childcare facility has been great to work with so far. Pros I like that it allows us to know when our child has had a dirty diaper and may not come home in the same clothes. I also like that the childcare center can upload photos. Also, that at the end of the day when the child has been picked up we get to find out how much the child ate and when the child slept and for how long.
