Cons

At first, it was hard to download the photos to my phone, but I think this feature has been fixed. Otherwise, no complaints.

Pros

I love all the updates I get on my child’s day - when he naps, what he eats (and how much), and what activities he is doing. The photos and videos have to be my favourite - they brighten my day. I also like the messaging function - sending a quick note to the teacher and/or administrators is easy. I also like that I have a “crew” where I can add family members and share photos with them.

Cons

The mood rating - it’s great when I hear that my child is happy but not so when I hear that he is emotional.

I love this app and hope there can be more added on. I love seeing the meals that posted on and how much he ate. and seeing the photos that are sent to me; like seeing how happy he is and how much fun hes having, I like being part of the group on the app. And when picking up or dropping off my son I like seeing how great the teachers are. its such a positive environment, and love seeing how my son is comfortable just walking in.

Pros

Everything that my son is eating and the pictures that are send to me of what hes up too. Its so great to see that when i'm not around.

Cons

Not knowing when and what time how long my son napped during the day.

Pros

My favorite part is when I get a notification of a photo or activity posted for the day. It's feels great to see or know what your child is up to.

Cons

It really works well overall. The aesthetic of it seems to get better every so often with updates so that is starting to clear up my main gripe about how basic it felt 2 years ago.

Pros

I like how it is easy to use and I like the organized layout.

Cons

I do not like how you cannot see what the daily meals and daily nap times are until the report is finalized for that day. I do not understand why the diaper changes are the only entry’s that show up as they are entered into the app. I also do not like how you cannot download videos.

Pros

I love the ability for caregivers to share pictures throughout the day. I also appreciate the ability to quickly contact teachers and administrators.

There is no trending data. No ability to remit payment through the app.

It allows me to keep me updated about what my son is doing on the Kinder, specially when I’m traveling and I cannot see him at home.

Pros

Receiving daily pictures of your son during the day makes you happy when you are working.

Cons

It is not possible or it is not easy to download videos. It is not possible to define the role for grandparents for example. They cannot display videos.

Our school frequently tells us that they’re having issues with the app/it’s not working properly. Not the best experience.

Pros

The look and feel is nice and welcoming.

Cons

I don’t like that it doesn’t tell me the time of day that most activities for my son take place. I’m unable to tell when he had snacks or when he had lunch, also I can’t tell when “group time” or other activities happened. Also yesterday I sent a message and never heard back; not sure if the notifications are not obvious or what.

My parents are apprised of every aspect of their child's behavior, sleeping/eating routines daily, academic assessments and progress/challenges etc. The team at HiMama is available every moment of the day if you have questions , need support or instruction great or small. These people genuinely care about for for their valued customers. They are the most amazing team of support and tech people we have ever experienced!

Pros

I like that we one place to enter all information about each student from attendance to medical history to even their moods each moment of the day to sleep routine, monthly menus for academics and food to activities to you-name-it. whatever you have in your files regarding each student and your schookl you may now have in one app!

Cons

That I cannot meet these geniuses face-to-face who developed and keep this program running smoothly on a daily basis to thank them for all of us at Happy Kids Childcare and Preschool!

Sometimes, this software takes way too long to load. Moreover, the software crashes if it takes too long to load.

HiMama allows us to post updates on the child's day. Plus we get to post pictures of the children and link the activity to a developmental milestone.

Sometimes the milestones options are way to vague and we find that we are guessing where things fit the best.

It's been good overall.

Pros

I like that I can check in and see what my son has been up to all day while at daycare. I know what he's eaten, when he's had dirty diapers and when he took a nap. It makes our evenings together easier, because I can gauge what kind of state he'll be in based on when he's eaten and napped that day.

Cons

I wish more photos were posted. There must be only 1 person that works at the daycare that posts photos because they're very infrequent.

Pros

I love being able to see photos and video’s of my daughter’s days at daycare. I like being able to access information about my daughter’s naps and food intake, and having an easy way to contact her daycare teachers.

Cons

I don’t like that I only get to see the details of my daughter’s day after her report is available. It would be nice to be able to see this information in real time.
