January 15, 2020 5.0 Pros I am a parent, and I love that I can see updates on my kid throughout the day... and not have to wonder how she is. I love that I can set up to receive specific notifications ... so my phone isn’t constantly beeping. Lastly it’s great to be able to contact staff directly you through the app! 5 STARS!!!!!!!! Pros I love how easy the app is to use and how all of the “need to know” information is on the opening page. Communicating with staff through the day is so easy. I also love the photo updates. I also love the pictures and how they can be shared automatically to our “crew”. Cons I wish there was a way for parents to add food/milk amounts to the app before check-in to clearly communicate what the child has consumed before hand, how much, and at what time - this may be import to the teachers. Another thing that would be nice is a section to let teachers know when you are expecting to pick up the child so that they are aware (like if there needs to be an early pickup) and they don’t just put the baby down for a nap. Parents are happy to use Himama app Pros I use himama app at childcare. It is easy in use, easy access for daily report for parents. Great features like posting kids pics and GELDS for curriculum and daily schedule! I recommend this app for chidcare providers. Didn’t even know such a thing existed until our little one started daycare Pros I love her teachers can send us pictures of what she’s doing that day! Cons I don’t think it’s so much from a parents stand point but the school doesn’t seem to utilize it to its potential but it seems to be because it wasn’t all that easy to do so. Cons The UX is a little buggy. Sometimes I click on a photo and try to zoom in and the whole image goes crazy. I usually have to go back to Home Page and try again. I LOVE THAT THEY CAN UPLOAD PHOTOS, AND I LOVE THAT YOU CAN MESSAGE THE TEACHER AND/OR ADMINISTRATOR (LEARNING CENTER OWNERS) PRIVATELY IF NEEDED AS WELL AS RECEIVING MASS MESSAGES THAT THEY SEND OUT TO ALL PARENTS. I ALSO LOVE THAT I CAN ADD OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS SO THEY CAN ALSO SEE PHOTOS AND UPDATES! Cons I DON'T LIKE THAT WHEN I GET A NOTIFICATION ON MY PHONE THAT THERE IS NO RED NOTIFICATION BADGE (I HAVE AN IPHONE X) EVEN THOUGH I TURNED THAT SETTING ON IN MY PHONE SETTINGS.
