I like that I can write a note to the teacher or respond to a post and that I can share the info with my family so they can also see what my son is doing during the day. October 13, 2017 4.0 Ease of communication with families is by far the most benefit we get from this program. It is also nice to have our lesson plans, messages, menu's and calendars all in one place. Not to mention the paper we save. Pros Sending parents instant messages and pictures and reminders is unbelievably easy now. We try to send parents a picture of their child enjoying there day every week. We can also remind them to bring diapers or other necessities for their child any time. Cons It could use a few more administrative features. I really appreciated that the photos from the last daycare stayed within the app when we changed daycares. To have not lost the photos was amazing. Pros I love having photo updates through out the day to see what activities my child is engaged in. I’ve used the app with two different childcare organizations, both have used it differently. Each have tailored it to how they want to share the events of the day. One shared lots of photos. The other updated meals, nap, and washroom details. I feel there is many more options available in the app that providers do not utilize. Cons No complaints. Could use a partnership with Canadian company to quickly make photo books out of the uploaded photos would be a nice added feature Review Source CB Chantal B. Pros Being a working mom means I miss out on a lot of my toddlers precious moments. This app allows me to know how and what she’s doing. Seeing her pictures, knowing how she’s sleeping and eating, well it makes all the difference! The fact that I received pictures everyday was amazing! Pros It is an easy way to communicate and to see what your child is doing everyday. As a new mom it gave me such a sense of ease to know I was updated daily and I could message the teachers anytime. Owner/Operator Used the software for: ### "I am absolutely in love with it!" May 24, 2015 5.0 I run an at home daycare. That means that I hold every position, I am the cook, administrator, teacher, and janitor. This program has cut my paper work time for daily sheets monthly from 4 hours to just daily time of about an hour total. Before this program I would spend 4 hours a month filling out daily sheets and then another hour and half filling them out every day. I really like how I can fill out more than one child's daily sheet at time also. At first I struggled as I was learning how to use the program, but since I was making "dummy" sheets that I was sending to myself I was able to pick it up in just a few days. I actually went "live" with the program two weeks ahead of schedule because it was so much easier for me to do. I also appreciate the fact that even though I am not a center when I emailed my service rep and asked how come I couldn't add my menus to the calendar, that they went a head and added that feature to my dashboard. It has been a hug time saver for me as I plan out all of my lesson plans and menus a year in advance. So as I get next years things set I can add them to the calendars at my own convince to help save myself time every day. So I have more time with my kiddos instead of filling out paperwork. The biggest thing is this program was easy to learn, saves me time, and allows me extra time to be with the kiddos instead of doing paperwork. Review Source CS Carrie S. My daughter loves it there as much as i do. I don't have to worry. MGS is very clean, friendly, organized, & overall a fun environment for the kids. Pros That it keeps me updated about my child through out the day. I don't have to go through an 8 hour day and not know what my child is doing.
