I am only a user of the app, not an administrator, but the user experience has been positive.

Pros

It is a simple and handy way to stay connected to our children while they are at daycare, and enables us to access staff if we have any questions or issues. Seeing pictures and getting daily updates are now things to look forward to.

Cons

I haven't encountered any significant issues to this point.

I don’t like how you can’t scroll through videos, I have to go into one and then back out before I can get to the next. Minor issue though

HiMama has been a great app for a first time mama who’s son is new to daycare. I love being able to see what he’s been doing all day in real time. And love that there aren’t paper sheets being used like when I used to work at daycares years ago. So much easier and convenient.

Pros

I can check in on how well my son is being taken care of in real time. The photos uploads make my day every time his daycare sends them. It’s also great to be able to message his teacher/the director whenever needed.

Cons

I wish I could see nap and feeding details before the report is closed at the end of the day. Sometimes I need to know these specifics in order to plan our evening before picking him up.

I like to see my kid’s update everyday. It gives you detailed information with pictures and very easy to use. You can see everything from beginning any time. I love this app.

I really like as per the information teachers are posting are valuable, still few things to improve :)

Pros

Post from teachers being pushed to the app and you get a notification of it.

Cons

Looks like a not finalized copy. Images do not resize properly, some times the app crashes while doing it. Caption on the picture are not visible unless you tap on the picture. I discover that by mistaked, and even with the picutre in full screen, you still need to tap more time in an up arrow icon to show any additional description for the posted picture. It doesn't include the gesture of an native android or native iphone, so you can't navigate by swiping.
