Pros

I Enjoy being able to get updates about my kids during the day! I’m able to see pictures and text.

Cons

I would like to be able to send messages to the provider occasionally. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Pros

I love the Foundations link with the software. It helps my staff with lesson planning and daily tasks.

I enjoy the graphics and appeal of the software. I am able to use the app to complete all my childcare needs to ensure seamless communication between parents and educators.

Cons

There are several features apart of the app, so it took so time to understand all available functions.

The daily condition of my baby can be reported such as what did she eat, what did she feel. The teachers take photos and upload them to HiMama. We can easily acknowledge what happens on her.

Cons

Actually, we have not found the disadvantages now.

I like that I have accessibility to pictures and also that I have a way to communicate with the teachers.

Cons

The loading time for reports and pictures are really slow and when I want to enlarge pictures, I always have to go back and click again because it won't do it the first time.

It gives parents a sense of ease to know how your child is doing.

Pros

Be able to communicate with staff. See pictures of what my son is doing. To know when he sleeps and gets up. To know how often hes using the bathroom and exactly what hes eating.

Cons

Cant seem to download the pictures for some reason.

This app needs major recoding done, I have used Brightwheel app in the past and the user interface is 1000% better than HiMama. I cannot see the updates as they are made using this app unless i refresh/kill and re-launch the app, which i think is just unnecessarily painful. I also cannot download media from this app and need to do it from the web browser. The overall feel of the app looks outdated and there is so much that can be done to make it look better and navigate easier, as a software developer I fee this app is struck in early 2000’s.

Pros

I can see my child’s daily meal schedule ahead of the day/week.

Cons

I cannot see the updates as they are made using this app unless i refresh/kill and re-launch the app.

The app allows me to check in and see how many bottles my baby has had, and and what times. I love that I can get photos through the app.

Cons

I don't like that I can't see nap history until the final report is sent. Sometimes photos take a while to load, but overall it's a good app.

Himama is awesome!

Pros

I was thrilled to find out my daughter’s daycare used himama. I love that I get notifications about her day and I can always check how long she napped and how many diaper changes she had.

Cons

The only thing is I wish I could view the photos larger when I click on them.

Photos sent. Log in and out for the day (I knew when my husband had picked up our chIld that way). Good for knowing what he ate and what the daycare needed us to bring the next day.

Cons

A little difficult to find the areas about the schedule.
