it is easy to use. parents like it. weekly reports are easy to read and understand. less paperwork for staff.

Cons

love the software. Center just needs larger devices to use. not sure if we can upload physicals yet into it but that would be great.

This helps with the communication between daycare workers and the childrens parents. Reminders can be sent the morning or night before without having to call the parents and disturb them. Has many functions that suit our needs.

Pros

I love the options available through this app and how it can truly be customized for each kid. I also love that photos can be shared to the parents throughout the day.

Cons

It would be nice to add more features and requirements that are to be filled out each day.

Sending invoices is so easy, daily information to send home is so easy, all allergies and medications give an alert.

Pros

Amazing way to communicate with parents, easy way to send home documentation, great way to send photos home.

We like it all! Everything is great so far.

The majority of the client's at my center arrive with transportation companies. The check-in and check-out times are helpful for families to know exactly when their child arrives and leaves the center.

Pros

HiMama has been a fun and easy way to communicate with families about their child's day. Our parents love receiving daily pictures and videos!

Cons

Many of the families I work with do not have email addresses so we've had to create email addresses for them in order to set up HiMama.

I love this app! I don’t feel like I’m missing a beat while at work and away from my daughter. I also love how you can communicate directly with the staff about specifics that you may not see happening. It’s been so good for my family. Thank you HiMama

Pros

I get updated in real time with every detail of my daughters day, from pictures to diaper changes and everything in between.

Cons

Since she is a nursing baby, her oz of what she ate doesn’t show up until the report is finalized after pick up.

Pros

There is nothing like the guilt of having to go back to work and leave your child with someone else all day. You wonder and worry about what they are doing. Not anymore with this awesome app. It is so cool to get quick updates from my children's care providers throughout the day with minimal effort.

Cons

I am so impressed with it. I don't have anything to compare it to as it was not something that was out for my other children.

I think this is a great way to take care of interaction, communication, and billing with parents. It is really smooth in how it works.

Pros

I like that this is a great way to have all the features you need when communicating with parents. You can send messages and even do billing.

Cons

It can be difficult sometimes if parents have several applications they are connected to. The messages can get lost and not be noticed as easily.

Great experience overall. I have no issues as of yet and don’t see any in the foreseeable future.

Pros

I love the user friendly nature of this app. I am not technologically savvy at all times especially with apps but this is so easy to use. Photos, journals, notes and updates are so easy to access. Definitely glad my daycare utilizes this type of technology to keep in touch with all parents !

Cons

No complaints of this app at all. I haven’t had any issues.

Like how easy it is to see what my child is doing throughout her day. Love that they can upload photos.

Cons

No problems that I have seen. Not a childcare provider so I can’t comment on whats available on that side of the app.

very annoying to get an email for each post in hi mama, but at least I did get a response when I emailed asking if notifications could be turned off. I love the idea, but I feel I get much less information using this app vs the traditional book/agenda like how well my son napped, how much he ate, how many accidents he had, his mood etc. Some workers use app much more than others - I get way more pics of my niece then my son, because her day care worker is young and tech savvy, more so then my son's main daycare worker
