Pros

It's so easy to get a daily report of my child's activities through HiMama...I know how long she has napped, how much she has eaten, when she has gone to the bathroom (important for potty training!), and what her mood was. I also get to see what lessons they are covering so I can talk to her about it when I pick her up.

Cons

I don't like the way photos are displayed...it's clunky when you try to zoom in and switch between photos.

Pros

It is pretty easy to use and get updates of how your child is doing at daycare. I like that it lists all meals and the mood of the day.

Cons

I think it could improve. When I get notifications that a picture is ready, I click the link and it won't show the photo. It shows as "unidentified". I have to go back to the app and hit the child's name to go to the picture and view it. It would be nice if the link actually worked directly.

Pros

The software is super easy to use and it is very intuitive. I love the different resources that can be utilized.

Nothing really negative so far for us! We have enjoyed the complete experience.

The push notifications during the day are great.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use and how the teachers can upload pictures etc.

Cons

That the report is not finalized until the end of day. Mostly the food and nap information can only be seen after the report is finalized when we pick her up.

The feature that I like the most is the fact that there are so many tools accessible to parents, educators and administrators in one place. It is incredibly easy for educators to use and the feedback from parents has been great!

Cons

One reoccurring theme in conversations with parents is; they wish they could check in or check out their child using their app. Often parents may forget to sign in or out, this option could help.

Daily reports , messaging and photo sharing

Cons

Not able to zoom and see the pic properly . Please show number of notifications on top of the app icon. View report option gives you the precise reports of about food and diapers . But if you don’t click on it you get mix of pics and reports which is not required(misleading). Right now if I click on pic icon I can see pics separately and view report gives report separately .

Overall experience has been great! No latencies observed during usage and the information I need is easy to locate. Also like the security features of who I can share my child's information with.

Pros

This app provides up to date progress of my child with pictures and the updates come in as soon as it is being uploaded by the teachers.

Cons

It does not keep me logged in or log me in automatically but I believe this is probably a security measure so I am able to live with it.

I'm highly satisfied with this app. This allows me to be professional while keeping parents close to home and personal.

Pros

I love the personal connection this facilitates between care giver and mom/dad. They are able to check their app for real time updates of each child , including pictures and videos . Gives them a peice of mind that their precious babies are in great hands

Cons

When adding multiple pictures on one submission, the app tends to freeze.

Such a great way to keep parents posted about whats happening in their classrooms without having to install a surveillance system which is the way things are headed right now. This gives teachers autonomy from crazy parents who want things to be regimented and still lets parents see whats happening every day in the classrooms with as much frequency as the teacher desires. Also lets parents send it on to relatives which is fun!

Pros

Easy to use, effective, almost like a private facebook page of your child!

Cons

It's a bit clunky and the app is a little hard to use

Not easy to navigate, can't go back to the first day of school to view pictures. Should be able to save pictures directly from the app rather than screen shot.

Pros

I really like how quickly I get updates on my child’s day. As soon as the teachers log their information we get the update. I also love getting photos throughout the day of the kids doing activities.

Cons

I have trouble switching from child to child occasionally and the teachers aren’t always great about logging things as they happen. Sometimes I don’t get any updates all day and sometimes I get 5 updates at once at 8pm.

It’s a great replacement for a journal. It’s easy to use. I could think of a few other things to add that would make it even more functional for my purposes but overall I am satisfied.

Pros

I like that the updates are live and it’s easy to use. I like that we can see photos and send messages to the director and the teacher.

Cons

I don’t like that the photos and videos are limited in size. I also don’t like receiving both the email and app notification. One is enough.

Pros

I like how easy it is to send and receive correspondence from the daycare regarding our little one. It notifies us when we’re running out of supplies too. And we love that it stores all the photos our daycare posts of our little one. There are so many features that I haven’t even got around to using them all yet.

Some of the functions aren’t really useful.

HiMama provides a great educational resources for teachers and parents. It allows us to build portfolios and add milestones from both the teacher and parent side of things. The parents love that they can see lesson plans, meals, pictures of activities.

Cons

Compared to our previous software the billing is not as straight forward and their is currently no way to make partial payments or over payments through the app.
