Since we have Qualio we never had an issue finding the information in our Quality System. Pros Easy to follow the directions, and create new procedures, forms, and events. Easy to find any information, approve, and review the documents. Cons It is hard to create forms in Landscape format (especially if you want the form to be on one page), not possible to play with font. Review Source CM Claire M. It has a lot of functions which just need slight improvements before they can be fully effective. Pros I like the version control of documents and that minor changes can be made without sending the document for re-training. Customer service is exceptional with issue and queries being addressed as soon as possible. Cons The 'compare against' function is not very useful as often it highlights entire sections of text instead of the specific changes. It also shows code when changes are made to tables or images. The inability to revision control templates directly. If templates update, changes within sections have to be applied manually to documents in draft. If a new document type is needed, it's literally just a few clicks away. I like the intuitive navigation and the ease of adoption by the end users. Cons At this time, the only place I can fault Qualio is in the data reporting capabilities. Running basics like how many open/closed NCRs or how many SOPs approved is fine, but without more capability built out, or an external API (like a BI report or crystal intelligence tool), I can't get to more data within records. I do know they are working on this however, and generally at the start up level, you're not yet in need of super detailed reporting within your QMS yet anyway. The basics they provide will more than get you off the ground! The dash board is comprehensive and is critical is assessing status of activities. Cons The inability for a manger (such as myself) to have visibility to my direct reports training status as well as the status of other assigned activities for items that I have to manage. Our Quality group has full access but there is no intermediate option to control access to certain areas while allowing operational managers to be able to manage applicable information. So I have to resort to asking QA "where is this SOP in the approval process" , "who's training is outstanding", or " who started the draft version for a SOP?" etc. Since we are so restricted, it hurts work flow. Another layer, just below full access, to allow us to manage our over arching responsibilities, would be helpful. Quality Manager Medical Devices Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Qualio disappointing" April 22, 2024 4.0 Poor - I came in late (hardly anything was done) with the implementation and just wasn't aware of the capabilities of Qualio, and Qualio was backing out of the on-boarding process. I don't believe Qualio provided me with a good understanding of the capabilities of the system and how best to set it up. Pros I do like the Document Lifecycle management and the control of documents. Need the ability to have separate libraries, (i.e for Technical Documents) and not by tag! Cons Cost....Not much of a value when compared to manual systems Most everything in Qualio requires the same effort as a manual system (document control/life cycle is the exception, although some software offers version control!) I also resent the price increase applied this past year and the inability of Qualio to negotiate or justify the increase. We are actively evaluating other suppliers. Review Source SM Stephanie M. Qualio has been great for maintaining the quality system from Complaints, NCR's, CAPA's etc. Pros Templates are helpful in guiding content creation across the organization. Events are great for managing approvals and maintaining evidence. Cons Training module doesn't provide a matrix type status, i.e. Documents versus all used and training requirements/status. Their platform is updated from time to time which improves the experience (for example, document editing and reviewing has been improved over the past couple years). Cons Perhaps out of scope, but Qualio would be great if it could be linked to some form of inventory management system. For example, in quality events sometimes specific materials need to be identified and currently there is a lot of double-entry in our system (Qualio, then in another spreadsheet or software). Also, there are some minor inconveniences that continue to exist, such as links that go to a superceded document. Perhaps there could be a feature which allows for smart linking to a specific version vs. most current version. Review Source JR Judson R. We love the system. Pros We easily pass cGMP complaince audits utilizing all features of Qualio. The ease of use and being able to quickly pull up any documents requested has impressed many auditors. Cons Initially the search feature was a bit clunky, but there has been improvements. No issues now. Reason for choosing Qualio Ease of use and an all in one system to handle all of Quality. Very audit friendly - would recommend. Pros It is extremely straight forward to use. You can train managers quickly on it and use/adoption rate is very high. Cons It is a bit pricey. However it is more versatile and easier to use than most major software - worth the extra costs. Reason for choosing Qualio Greenlight also seemed like a great product but the implementation speed and ease of Qualio was out deciding factor. In doing this, it streamlines the time required to create, edit, and access documentation in a secure way, and does not require a large amount of training or time to get used to. Cons Small cosmetic and quality of life improvements are needed in specific areas, yet they are the exception to the rule in most cases and do not seriously impact the system's value. The system can generate reports for each employee. Cons Change control and periodic review reports need improvement. I cannot generate proper reports that provide visibility of these processes. Plus, just having the documents does not create a quality system. Please don't be fooled by the pitch that Qualio is a turnkey solution. Be aware that Qualio will not let you out of your contracted commitment. Cons It is not easy to create QMS with the documents alone. Review Source RV Richard V. It can be sorted and search by keyword. Any new training, it will release letter to inform users. Cons 1) Training vedio can not be watched in the platform.2) CAPA creation is make by special users. The system keeps track of everything. It is suitable for small businesses and is also scalable as they expand.  Pros This software has a relatively simple learning curve. The programme has a lot of flexibility and lets you format procedures and records anyway you choose. The software contains useful features, easy-to-use interface, and finding documents is not too difficult either. Tech support is also excellent. Cons It's challenging to create documents with Qualio. I like that it send an out reminders every Monday and helps us keep tabs of days and deadlines.
