My overall experience with Office Ally Suite, not just the EHR 24/7, has been great. I definitely recommend Office Ally to other practices.

Pros

It's easy to use. The best thing about Office EHR 24/7 & Practice Mate is that it maintains the same page layout, which helps learn it quickly. Compared with eCW, its configuration manual is simple and easy to learn without much training. It was easy to implement this software into our practice, with Office Ally staff providing the necessary training during the implementation phase. It is easy to manage daily patient scheduling, and everything is well integrated between EHR 24/7 & Practice Mate. Due to its relatively lower prices, Office Ally provides an overall good value for the money. Besides EHR 24/7 & Practice Mate, Office Ally Clearinghouse also provides good features like Insurance Discovery that other clearinghouses lack. It seems to be reasonably HIPAA compliant, making it secure to store HIPAA-sensitive patient data. It is easy to manage patient accounts.

Cons

Overall, my experience with EHR 24/7 has been quite positive. However, I’ve noticed that Practice Mate lacks the capability for batch claims creation and submission, which is a feature offered by other EHR software like eCW. Implementing batch claims functionality could significantly enhance efficiency and save a lot of time for users.

### "All for this EHR "

We have been using this system for over 10 years and we don't want to change. It gives us what we need with customizable options too.

Pros

We are able to customize our charting for each provider yet keep it mainstreamed for the office. Learning curve is medium but not too bad for learning a new system.

Cons

It doesn't always update easily and occasionally we lose what we had put in. This may be an issue with our internet too and it doesn't happen often.

### "Great value for the money, no bells and whistles, gets the job done"

Good. I wish it would allow different searches without losing where I am. I know that I have side tabs with information I can see on the fly, but for instance, I am often in a SOAP and would like to see the patients xray results. So I have to save where I am, go see what I want to see, copy if necessary and go back to the SOAP. I'd prefer to have documents/films more accessible, perhaps added to those side bar options. We don't use the scheduling feature because our scheduling needs are complicated as we have appointments and classes. For someone who only does appointments, I'm sure it would all work seamlessly together.

Pros

Comparatively inexpensive to others on the market and since we were already, and for many years using Office Ally as a clearing house, the streamlined connection to the EHR made sense. I did not take us long to get it up and going.

Cons

Everything needs to be set up from scratch. I wish the font was more adaptable to different screen sizes. When you set everything up, the text runs together unless separate with space or slashes but more space takes up room on the page. Not having space, you run the risk of taping (touch screen) the wrong prewritten phrase. I'd like to see this set up differently, more touch screen friendly.

It got too expensive when the incentive went away and the cost didn't make sense for our size office. The product itself as well as customer service was very good but we also had to buy a server which was expensive.

Positive. I have been able to use this company for almost eight years. I appreciate the options I have in the overall programs available. However, the amount of money that I spend for the billing and claims and the EHR, prevent me from using any other programs, due to the increased price.

Pros

I like that everything is under the same program. So I can bill claims and write EHR notes. I had to create my own note template. The program requires help from the IT department at OfficeAlly. I was able to get supportive help.

Cons

I would like more opportunities to use AI. The price continues to increase for my business as I grow the company to 17 counselors. I would like a lower rate due to my loyalty of staying with OfficeAlly.

### "Easy and consistent"

Very consistent. We've been using it for around 10 years. Layout is great and easy to get familiar with.

Pros

Easy to navigate. We've been using it for around 10 years. Easy to make macros so when we enter notes, makes it efficient not to have to type again.

Cons

Can't print consecutive notes in a batch at once. We often print out notes for personal injury cases.

Patient portal is very helpful, great way to keep in touch with patient care. Avoiding less phone calls

Cons

no message alerts for patient self schedule on portal, some patients request appointments but we are unable to see unless we log in to portal messages.

I think it's perfect, easy and adaptable. The technical service help is really top notch. Upon being a new customer, I was mastering it within a week.

Pros

It is so customizable! It was very easy to learn. The live chat for when I have a question that I need answered right now.

Cons

I REALLY wish I could tell what date and time I made the appointment. I REALLY wish that the alerts from Practice Mate would show up on EHR, I make alerts on Practice Mate so my office does not make appointments in EHR for patients who owe us money. Alerts in EHR would be very very useful.

### "EHR 24/7 Pros and Cons"

My experience is primarily using the EHR 24/7 is with Medicaid patients. Being able to download patient charts for a Medicaid review was easily done.

Pros

What I liked best about the EHR 24/7 is the scheduling, claims processing and accounting capabilities.

Cons

What I liked least about the EHR 24/7 is how adapting those EHR documents is complicated. It would be much easier to adapt documents using a MS Word format.

Pros

It is easy to learn, move around in and worth the money spent. Uploading documents is easy, and scheduling and patient management is easy.

Cons

I wish we could make our own categories for the docs we upload. Not as user friendly w/ signed chart notes. Could use the option to delete if needed, or unlock it once its been signed.

It was good for what we needed but in the end, it had some limits.

Pros

It's cheap and easy to integrate with a new practice.

Cons

It's not very intuitive to learn and requires a lot of training. The UI can be a little clunky. Once we changed over to a new EHR, it was hard to get them to release the records.

### "No complaints and Easy to use!"

It does everything for us. Cuts down on time seeing the patients as our progress notes are pre-populated and the billing is the key to our success!

Pros

EHR 24/7 has been very useful tool in our practice. It is so simple to use and with ease. The price point was also a great factor alongside the billing portion of the EMR. We have been using this since 2020 and not had any issues. Customer service is always helpful and responsive. It's worth the money and saves us time when seeing our patients. Love the patient intake forms as well as we are working our way to a paperless practice.

Cons

At times the patients complain about the intake forms. The price recently went up and that's unfortunate.

### "Wonderful EHR for chiropractors! "

Pros

This software is very easy to use and the features are endless. I really like the fact that it's a cloud based system so I can log on to my EHR system and edit/view notes whether I'm at home, the office, or in a different country - this also becomes very useful when there are multiple providers using the system. The fillable fields are also very easy to customize and there is a feature where you can duplicate previous notes if the changes from visit to visit were minimal. This made notes SO EASY! Office Ally also partners with a 3rd party merchant service called World Pay. Their rates were the lowest I could find, the customer service was good, but more importantly, it allowed financial information to be directly routed into the Office Ally program for each patient. Very nice to keep everything within one program! A billing specialist friend also said that out of the many EHR systems she's worked with, Office Ally is the most user-friendly on the billing side of things. Other benefits - Office Ally doesn't costs much, so no big financial commitments up front with some of the other softwares, and you can cancel whenever with no penalty. Included in that monthly fee is an optional scheduling program (for admin staff to use) and a patient portal system. There is also an appointment reminder feature that you can pay extra for. BE CAREFUL if you work with World Pay though - they offer a 3-year minimum contract only, so there is a hefty fee if you cancel with them earlier then that.

Cons

I thought that the patient portal wasn't very user-friendly. I found that it was difficult to get patients to comply with setting it up

### "Excellent Software for Medical billing and EHR management"

My experience with EHR/ 24/7 has been very good. I help set practitioners up with this software all the time. What I do is create a template from speaking with the providers and then have them submit it to Office Ally and go through the set-up that way. This method allows the providers to really personalize the categories and wording to their office and specialty. Thumbs up Office Ally you have made this program very easy to set-up, use and personalize. Data entry during a visit is very smooth once you get the initial programming of your common phrases saved. This speeds up the provider's data entry time considerably and allows more time with their patients.

Pros

I like the simplicity of Office Ally. It is very easy to use for scheduling your patient, managing their electronic health record with easy to use templates and following the electronic billing process.

Cons

The only thing I would add to Office Ally after using it for 8 years plus, would be the ability to print out a patient ledger with the provider's name, address and phone number at the top. If there isn't a balance due on the account the statements won't include the visits dso the only option for me to print a form that our patients need for their HSA and FSA accounting is the patient ledger. If you print a superbill at the time of service it will be inclusive of all these things but the aftercare for financials is where this pops up. Other than this one little thing I am very happy with Office Ally and you can't beat the pricing!

Very good. I wish the Reminder Mate feature had a texting response system and was more user friendly. We canceled our Reminder Mate subscription because of the inefficiencies. When we brought this problem to tech supports attention , they never had a good solution of a fix

Pros

Pricing is transparent and reasonable. Accounting software, EHR and stats are all integrated with a clearinghouse

Cons

We are EST so I wish they had tech support available 24/7 or at least for early EST days. As a chiropractic clinic, we had to customize and create our own macros and templates which took a lot of time but worth it

Pros

Easy to set up medical billing using the progress notes. Easy to customize the forms I would be using and good customer service to help with that.

Cons

Took a little time to set up and customize, but that's with any EHR system.

Reason for choosing EHR 24/7

The system was recommended by a colleague who was using it. I was using an outside billing service that was becoming increasingly expensive. I was able to set up an EHR system for keeping my records as well as a system for medical billing.

I'm tired of changing EMR's over the years and I have been managing to make it work for now. The problem is that the next EMR that charges 30x OA isn't that much more intuitive.

Pros

Simplicity in its GUI, pricing and web based system.

Cons

Several limitations on setting up your notes/templates. RCM is horrible. Can not extract information required through reports. Needs better integrations and ability for practice to customize to its need.

Overall, it is a great electronic health record software management company.

Pros

I enjoy how easy it is to document, my notes, and the functionality and overall interface is great and easy to use.

Cons

When signing into Office Ally, I have to drop down to my name every time, rather than my schedule automatically popping up for myself. At times, we have experienced issues with Office Ally being off-line, and it disrupts our day today activities in terms of documentation and scheduling appointments.

Chrome makes you zoom in and out to find the next clickable box. An app would solve it.
