It has been great! I have used it for 1.5 years with zero problems or outages. Very reliable and customizable.

Pros

Very customizable and minimal clutter/non essential functionality.

Cons

Takes time to set up the macros the way you want them and requires 1-2 hours of training.

### "Good EHR system, great value! "

Overall it’s been really good which is why I’ve stayed for so long.

Pros

Been using for years. Easy to use. Has good features.

Cons

There are spelling errors in the pre populated soap note templates so it’s annoying to have to correct these. Also there are extra spaces in there too which aren’t needed. Doesn’t look professional when sending out charts to other doctors and attorneys.

OA EHR user friendly, great support staff cost effective especially for small medical offices

Cons

doesn't interface with some labs for orders e-prescribing could allow for free hand ordering instead of number values.

### "Easy to navigate, value for your money,"

I run a small practice and so this is worth it. Having my account representative \[sensitive content hidden\] has made this process worth it especially at times when we got frustrated.

Very easy to use, structure is very easy Value is AMAZING I CAN DO ALMOST EVERYTHING ON IT My account representative is very knowledgeable and easy to get a hold of Appointment notifiations for all appointments Built in clearinghouse is great and their response time

### "Inexpensive and has what you need"

Overall have been very pleased, the inexpensive price and reliability of the website has been good.

Pros

It's user friendly and quick to learn. Customer service is good.

Cons

Creating templates on your own is tricky, but forms can be emailed direct for Office Ally to create for you. I wish there was a way for our signature pad to work directly with EHR. Also the integration with our Immunization Registry could be improved. When I checked into it did not meet our current needs.

### "templates have been a problem. iIhave asked multiple times to fix one of our templates . Never done."

Overall the experience is good. It has been hard to learn all of it.

Pros

I like the ease of use. The pre- screening of claims. Appointment page ease of use.

Cons

trying to get a training in a reasonable amount t of time. really long wait times on the phone. Trying to get templates fixed. I have asked multiple times to get text boxes to questions in a template. It has not been done. Also trying to communicate with the people who fix the templates is not good. When we do get a training, sometimes the trainer talks too fast and goes through it too fast. There needs to be more training videos.

### "One of the Worst EMRs I've used"

Pros

Just about the only real benefit of this software is the price tag. Our office used it when we were first launching and costs were a concern.

Cons

The interface is awful. Workflow is horrendous. At least 3 of my notes would get deleted every Friday while I was charting and had to re-do them. Every page took forever to load and if you clicked something before the little circle stopped, it would freak out and refresh/you would lose everything you did. There is an E-prescribe but it was pretty terrible. Luckily I had a backup mobile app from another company to prescribe when OA wouldn't let me complete my task. Trying to navigate records was a nightmare. No smart search feature. Labs were not integrated, rather they were received as documents and uploaded into a document section. Thus, you had to spend countless time clicking through each document to find what you were looking for. No way to trend results.

### "EHR testimony"

overall, it allows me to cover all the bases of patient care , without me being tied to a computer for hours.

Pros

It saves me from writing for hours at a time, every day that I treat patients. The added benefit is this also allows me to pick certain phrases or statements as I go through it

I resented it in the beginning because it was mandatory, now i wouldn't be without it

### "Simple EMR-could use some improvement but overall good value"

Good value for money, overall easy to use. If I could get a more personalized experience that would make it better.

Pros

Simple to pull up from any computer/interface. Simple to use, no complex commands. Easy to get in touch with support. Never had any issues with pharmacy prescribing.

Cons

1)Will sometimes loose notes as they don't save properly 2) Would be great if we could get the '>' and '<' symbol to use, currently cannot use this symbol for some reason 3)Dot phrases and text templates not easy to enter 4) I do not get any update on the tasks I have sent out

Small clinic size and cost is the main reason, though I like the support and interface, I just wish I could customize things a little more to my liking.

I love that I am able to append my own templates by myself, as often as needed. Customer service has been wonderful, though rarely needed.

Pros

I liked the customizability of building and editing violent template, and the autonomy in doing so.

Searching patients should always be by default with date of birth or have the option to select a default because that causes extra time to choose or make mistakes choosing it so it takes time

Okay wouldn’t go back to be honest would pay double for something easier and friendlier

Pricing was the sale point but the ease of use is so hard to get use to, and my customer support session the person training me was very rude

Great scheduling. It is easy to write medical notes. It is easy to create and send claims.

Pros

EHR is easy to use.Scheduling is very easy. Ability to create "phrases "

Cons

Eligibility verification was great, but after recent updates it became difficult. It is impossible to use EHR to gather data for MIPS. It is not easy to use e-prescribing. There are a lot of unnecessary features.

Cumbersome in certain areas. Lacks intuitive use. It has so many uses, areas, that it can become overwhelming.

### "Great for Insurance Clearing House & Health Records"

Pros

Office Ally functions as 2 products, EHR & a clearing house for insurance claims. As an EHR it works sufficiently. As an insurance claims clearing house it is outstanding. Office Ally works independently with different EHRs online and can be calibrated to accept claims directly from the EHR you use. It takes a few phone calls to your EHR and see if Office Ally clearing house is available. If your EHR does not calibrate to Office Ally, you can set up an account independently with them and login to file claims via the Office Ally website. Another positive as a clearing house is if the claims are for private insurance like Blue Cross, Aetna etc. it will cost the provider nothing. If the provider is submitting claims for medicaid recipients they have a one a month fee. This all depends on the provider and who they accept as a client.

Cons

The user interface on Office Ally is slightly confusing. A user can get confused at times because the options the user interface gives is a tad overwhelming. Another downside is the rejection codes they hand out. The good side though is you can call Office Ally up and they will guide you through the codes and issues.
