April 19, 2018 5.0 Essential, a practical tool, well put together. Pros Nice graphic interface. Simple and easy on the eye. Each feature was clearly independently accessible on its own screen. Cons The belt system logos had a limited amount of belt colors. My school has four levels of white belt for adults, and the software could not match this. September 18, 2014 5.0 I was looking for a slim and easy to use dojo management software, preferably with support for German standards. My requirement were simple: manage my student base, manage my classes, and manage my attendance. Dojo Manager offers exactly that: easy to use functionality. No overhead. Ideal for small training groups with the option to grow into full size dojo management. Pros: - German language and data format support - Easy to understand data model. Enter your data from big to small: dojo -> class -> training session - excellent and informative student overview - manage outside addresses, like suppliers - customizable ranking and requirements to suite all martial arts - ability for easy dues/payment handling all the way to financial management - software focusses on dojo management and not on operating a business - excellent and extremely responsive support and developer access from within the software - flexible and affordable payment plans to suite even small trainings groups. Cons: - some printing and calendar functions still missing, but developer is very open for suggestions - photos don't show yet, but this is already being worked on. Overall impression: Easy to use software solution, which focusses on dojo management and makes live easier for instructors to organize their classes. Flexible payment plans suite even the smallest training group. Coming features promise to make Dojo Management one powerful software solution! UPDATE: In my first review I mentioned, that there is an issue with showing the photos within Dojo Manager. Well, the issue has been resolved and I just missed it! Again, this shows the excellent support and strive to continuously improve the software and make it #1 Choice .... for me, it already is #1!!!! Thanks a lot and sorry for the confusion!!!!!!! The response was almost immediate and my issue was solved in very short order. I am extremely impressed with their support team. Pros It has everything we need to manage our Dojo. Cons It was a bit tricky to navigate at first but once I spent a little time finding my way around it has become very easy to use. I have yet to find an instructional guide (maybe I just haven’t looked in the right place) but was able to set everything up with minimal issues. That Dojo-Manager is almost perfect, contains all needed features for managing all the tasks in the dojo. The design was made to use the Dojo-Manager on the smart phone as well. The software is clearly structured and with logical breakdown, so it is easy to use. The contact to the developer was quite perfects, answered the questions in short time.
