MRPeasy continues to provide the highest bang per buck for small manufacturers. The system has evolved to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution that covers purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and accounting. Helped to prepare material requirements for our monthly production requirements. Pros Improved our ability to Order and track required materials for different production facilities in different locations. Improved our materials forecasting requirements for different factories based on current orders. And allowed us to do more with fewer people. Cons limiting the number of BOM's and Routing allowable on the system at any one time. The initial quantity is very high and took almost 2 year to reach the Cap but once it was reached is caused a lot of issues and we had to start doing regular maintenance on the old out dated BOM's to get the numbers down. June 17, 2025 2.0 You buy the system online then are left to work it out for ourselves. For the size of our business it should do everything we need it to. A little more help in the beginning and ongoing reviews would support your new users and get a much more positive response. Pros The pricing for a small business is excellent unless you need more than a couple of users. It should do everything we need it to do and linking in to our finance system will help significantly once we fully understand how to use it. Cons The onboarding is challenging and understanding how to use it. You are given a 1 hour training session then left to work it out with the tools available on line. We are a small manufacturing business that makes 5 products. After months of trying to work things out for ourselves we engaged with one of their onboarding consultants Smart Manufacturing. We gave them a detailed brief of what we wanted. However, it was clear that after a couple of sessions they did not really understand how the system worked. They cancelled our project half way through saying we needed a three month onboarding consultation. For such a small business this is ridicules'. We have just had to work through it ourselves which we are doing. The program is straightforward and easy to use. After getting everything set up and spending some time becoming familiar with the system, it has become a seamless part of our operations. We have been using it for nearly a year now, and it has proven to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing our processes. Pros We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits. We manage a large inventory, and MRPeasy has been a great tool for tracking inventory, generating purchase orders and invoices for both suppliers and customers, and managing the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished kits. We also use QuickBooks for our bookkeeping, and all invoice information transfers automatically from MRPeasy into QuickBooks. In addition, as we were setting up, customer support was readily available to answer questions. Cons For cons, this is less about MRPeasy and more about QuickBooks. When we receive payment and close out an invoice in MRPeasy, it automatically transfers to QuickBooks, which works well. However, if the payment is deposited in our bank first and we close out the invoice in MRPeasy a day later, QuickBooks has often already generated an invoice to match the deposit. This can result in duplicate invoices in QuickBooks and requires some cleanup. It is a bit frustrating, but to be clear, this is not an issue with MRPeasy. Not sure how it will scale once my operations expand esp bar coding warehouse etc. Pros Really customized. I can pretty much change a lot of things on the fly without hiring a professional coder. Cons Reporting can get better. This software has tons of potential but not sure why they don't introduce more tools such as tracking unfulfilled orders & partial orders, daily dashboard to see what is due and what is behind \[need to introduce on dashboard tasks eg: if an order is delivered then immediately it should alert that invoicing is not done. This would rival bigger players in the market only if they keep developing!!! It integrates well with Quickbooks and it has all of the features needed by a food/supplement manufacturing company. Pros The ease of use and short learning curve, it is intuitive to use, easy to add users and get them up to speed on using the system. Inventory and usage are accurate and easy to use. Cons The inability to substitute materials in a subcontractor BOM/order, makes it more complicated than it needs to be. Need to add a feature like other MRP's to be able to swap materials within an order instead of having to change the BOM short term or writing off the consumed materials. Also what I like is the continuous updating. Also in case of support the response is relatively quick. Pros Back then, the most important feature was the multilayer BOM. Most competitors were only able to go 1 level deep. Or otherwise the costs would go up significantly. Also for us MRP easy became essential for stock management, purchasing, supplier management. The interface is also very intuitive compared to other softwares Cons During procurement, you have to send a mail, this process can be improved. It opens directly to your mail account, but only a link to the PDF document. I want to attach the PDF. It takes the general contact information, instead of the responsible person of the company. Next to this it messes up the layout of the mail message. It is a brilliant piece of software that has saved me and my staff hours of work, enabling us to be so much more efficient. The design, operation and implementation is so clear and easy to use. Cannot fault it. Pros It really does make MRP easy! It was a simple system to setup and implement and using it is a breeze. It manages stock and production efficiently and accurately. We never have any problems with data it works brilliantly. Just can't fault it, even the instructions, help and tutorial videos are brilliant. Cons In an ideal world the CRM would be better and able to import contacts easier. Though the link with pipe drive is intriguing, I need to see how seamless this is so we can manage CRM and MRP all under one roof. Being able to pull more information from the customer order through to the delivery note would remove an operation from my day, similarly from a customer order through to the batch label. If all you have is a part name, or a few digits of a long item number. Its easily finds what you are looking for and you and trace the info with a click of the mouse. Very customisable. CEO Cosmetics Used the software for: 2+ years ### "The most complete MRP tool for our Cosmetic Production Manufacturing Operations" December 30, 2024 5.0 We are using MRPEasy as our Production management tool for all our cosmetics filling production, whereas it's for our own brand or for our customers. We also use it as our inventory management tool to process all our purchase orders, packaging consumptions during productions. We also use the CRM option to plan all our customer orders, and this is really brillant. Basically, it's our complete backbone for all production related tasks about managing our cosmetic production process. We can also have all the tracking on batch that is highly critical in cosmetic, and it enables us to be fully GMP compliant. I can only recommend MRPEasy as it is really one of the only tool we found out that is not only super powerful, but can be adapted to any type of manufacturing, with a very good quality/price ratio and plenty of features that are really useful. On top of that, we have seen over the last years a real evolution of the software, which is constantly being updated with meaningful additional features. Pros A complete MRP processing platform that can be adapted to any type of business, and that can be very customised to all our specific needs, with a very powerful and user-friendly frontend view. We can run our entire Cosmetic production business for our brand and for our third-party customers from this application, at the exception of "formula" specific work (which is run by a specific professional cosmetic app). We can run from purchase order to CRM to Manufacturing Order and Plannification within one single app, and this is very powerful. The speed and reactivity of the SaaS platform is also great, which makes it very pleasant to use. It also let us being fully GMP compliant thanks to the traceability function which is critical for Cosmetics Manufacturing. Cons Sometimes, some operations are quite repetitive like adding a file to many different items: manufacturing order, item with batch produced, inspection, ... But it's manageable. It also lacks a bit of ready made integration, like direct integration with several apps we'd like to use, or through connector. April 29, 2025 4.0 I'm happy to use it because it's logical system. Since I have used similar programs before it was really easy to learn. Pros Easy to manage and works properly, All accidental errors what have been made while using MRPeasy is really easy to fix. Cons Can't add purchase orders for non stock items for accounting. Pros Optimized for physical product manufacturing. Easy to implement. Fits the sweet spot between Quickbooks and enterprise (aka SAP, Netsuite, etc.). Cons I struggled a bit with understanding the various data objects and how the fit into the overall workflow. As soon as I understood the concepts it was very easy to implement. The chat bot is also super helpful when you don’t know how to do something, and need help. Pros It’s an easy way to track all builds, parts & inventory. As someone who’s never used a parts/ordering system I have found it User friendly. Cons I wish there was a way to auto email the vendor the PO directly from the PO once it’s been created, instead of having to download it and send it manually. CEO Food Production Used the software for: 6-12 months ### " Robust Features but Poor UX and Limited Integrations" September 25, 2024 4.0 Pros I've found that MRPEasy offers a wide range of functionalities that meet my various needs. The customer support team has been quick to respond and effective in resolving my issues whenever I've needed assistance. Additionally, I appreciate that MRPEasy provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality. Cons However, I find the interface unintuitive (really bad UX, like an app developed 15 years ago), making the app frustrating to use. For example, actions that should take one click often require three, which slows us down. At times, the technical support hasn't been as helpful as I'd hoped, leaving some of my problems unresolved. There aren't enough integrations, and it makes it challenging for me to connect and extend the app’s features. Moreover, basic integrations, like with Google Drive, are limited and don't allow me to select specific save folders, which reduces flexibility and efficiency for our workflow. Pros I've been working with this program for only 5 months, and it was easy to learn the basic operation. The system is complex, so I'm still learning and discovering all its possible uses Cons Sometimes I need to spend more time getting acquainted with a module or process.
