The system has evolved to provide a comprehensive and integrated solution that covers purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and accounting. Helped to prepare material requirements for our monthly production requirements. Pros Improved our ability to Order and track required materials for different production facilities in different locations. Improved our materials forecasting requirements for different factories based on current orders. And allowed us to do more with fewer people. Cons limiting the number of BOM's and Routing allowable on the system at any one time. The initial quantity is very high and took almost 2 year to reach the Cap but once it was reached is caused a lot of issues and we had to start doing regular maintenance on the old out dated BOM's to get the numbers down. It appears that MRPeasy may not be fully optimized for your current workflow. In MRPeasy, parts are deducted from inventory when they are actually consumed by workshop workers. This can be done either per each part separately or all at once. When workers use the simplified Internet-kiosk interface, parts are automatically deducted after they complete the first manufacturing operation of a manufacturing order. If, for any reason, workers do not report their progress, you can use the 'Finish as planned' button. This will automatically consume all required parts. However, for the most accurate and detailed overview of production, we strongly recommend asking workers to report progress in real time. Not sure how it will scale once my operations expand esp bar coding warehouse etc. Pros Really customized. I can pretty much change a lot of things on the fly without hiring a professional coder. Cons Reporting can get better. This software has tons of potential but not sure why they don't introduce more tools such as tracking unfulfilled orders & partial orders, daily dashboard to see what is due and what is behind \[need to introduce on dashboard tasks eg: if an order is delivered then immediately it should alert that invoicing is not done. This would rival bigger players in the market only if they keep developing!!! It integrates well with Quickbooks and it has all of the features needed by a food/supplement manufacturing company. Pros The ease of use and short learning curve, it is intuitive to use, easy to add users and get them up to speed on using the system. Inventory and usage are accurate and easy to use. Cons The inability to substitute materials in a subcontractor BOM/order, makes it more complicated than it needs to be. Need to add a feature like other MRP's to be able to swap materials within an order instead of having to change the BOM short term or writing off the consumed materials. June 17, 2025 2.0 You buy the system online then are left to work it out for ourselves. For the size of our business it should do everything we need it to. A little more help in the beginning and ongoing reviews would support your new users and get a much more positive response. Pros The pricing for a small business is excellent unless you need more than a couple of users. It should do everything we need it to do and linking in to our finance system will help significantly once we fully understand how to use it. Cons The onboarding is challenging and understanding how to use it. You are given a 1 hour training session then left to work it out with the tools available on line. We are a small manufacturing business that makes 5 products. After months of trying to work things out for ourselves we engaged with one of their onboarding consultants Smart Manufacturing. We gave them a detailed brief of what we wanted. However, it was clear that after a couple of sessions they did not really understand how the system worked. They cancelled our project half way through saying we needed a three month onboarding consultation. For such a small business this is ridicules'. We have just had to work through it ourselves which we are doing. It's multi-functional, yet understandable to standard users who just want to get a job done. It handles all of the item and BOM costings expertly in the actuals vs. planned screens and utilizes an excellent production scheduling format. Five stars! Pros The ease of understanding. There are lots of parts but they all flow together, and the layout makes it easy for new users to grasp. Head of Procurement & Supply Chain Telecommunications Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Good software and support" September 16, 2019 4.0 MRPeasy has been a great way for us to transitioning to MRP. We've formalised our item and BOM structures, improved our production planning and made our operational purchasing more robust with this software. Overall we are happy with the product. Pros The interface is slick and modern. No issues with the software being slow. The program is intuitive and can be picked up easily. There is a surprising amount of functionality. The Junior MRP easily supports multi level BOMs, different production resources, customisable fields on items, adding images etc to items. Stocked and non-stocked items are supported, as are indivisible items (I've seen some much larger systems that don't support this). Safety stock levels can be easily set and maintained, allowing for simple planning. The inventory system allows a fair amount of freedom to define stock locations as needed. The purchasing system works fine, allowing easy tracking of what is on order. I'd say something similar for the Customer order interface -customer orders can be input easily, documents such as proforma or commercial invoices can be defined. We've definitely appreciated the customer support we've received. Answers come back within 24 hours and though not everything can always be changed, the answers are helpful. On more than one occasion I've provided feedback on certain screens and have had the response come back that yes, that sounds like a good change to make and we'll release that change in a week or so. We've found this super helpful and haven't seen that from too many other software companies. Cons There is not too much here, but the main bugbear for us is the work orders. Our BOMs have multiple levels and we would expect that MRP would spit out individual work orders for each operation that needs to be done. Instead, a single work order comes out, which can be worked on by different resources, but when a production process can take several weeks that means things like WIP become hard to manage. So we have to either accept this and make that work or split our work orders down, which makes production planning more manual. Regarding too big work orders. MRPeasy has a special environment optimized for workers: Internet-kiosk. It shows tasks that are assigned to a particular worker. CEO Food Production Used the software for: 6-12 months ### " Robust Features but Poor UX and Limited Integrations" September 25, 2024 4.0 Pros I've found that MRPEasy offers a wide range of functionalities that meet my various needs. The customer support team has been quick to respond and effective in resolving my issues whenever I've needed assistance. Additionally, I appreciate that MRPEasy provides a cost-effective solution without compromising on quality. Cons However, I find the interface unintuitive (really bad UX, like an app developed 15 years ago), making the app frustrating to use. For example, actions that should take one click often require three, which slows us down. At times, the technical support hasn't been as helpful as I'd hoped, leaving some of my problems unresolved. There aren't enough integrations, and it makes it challenging for me to connect and extend the app’s features. Moreover, basic integrations, like with Google Drive, are limited and don't allow me to select specific save folders, which reduces flexibility and efficiency for our workflow.
