Works the same on iPhone, iPad and laptop. Support is responsive and actually helpful. The AI support chat works very well. Documentation is expansive. We use it daily and have saved many, many hours from our days with paper MOs and spreadsheet planning and tracking. Pros Overall, It's very affordable for small manufacturing businesses yet packed with features and flexibility usually available only with expensive ERP systems. But it's the attention to detail in terms of data, functionality, and workflow that made me fall in love with it. As with any resource planning software - the key to success is understating, planning, and implementing the data architecture that is right for your business. From templates, video instruction, documentation to friendly and helpful onboarding assistance from real people, MRPeasy helps you get things right the first time. The fact that it integrates with QBO and other accounting packages is a huge plus. That you can track backwards from specific finished product lots to specific ingredient lots really helps out consumer packaged food manufactures who heed this ability as part of their HAACP plan. Cons Not much to dislike. There are a few interface quirks that can be annoying: Can't re-schedule an MO from the MO itself - need to move them around in the calendar view; CRM module is awkward, and not really of much use unless you plan to use it as your primary CRM. Real CRM integration with QBO (more than importing customers) would be a great help for HAACP to track lots sent to customers. The program is straightforward and easy to use. After getting everything set up and spending some time becoming familiar with the system, it has become a seamless part of our operations. We have been using it for nearly a year now, and it has proven to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing our processes. Pros We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits. We manage a large inventory, and MRPeasy has been a great tool for tracking inventory, generating purchase orders and invoices for both suppliers and customers, and managing the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished kits. We also use QuickBooks for our bookkeeping, and all invoice information transfers automatically from MRPeasy into QuickBooks. In addition, as we were setting up, customer support was readily available to answer questions. Cons For cons, this is less about MRPeasy and more about QuickBooks. When we receive payment and close out an invoice in MRPeasy, it automatically transfers to QuickBooks, which works well. However, if the payment is deposited in our bank first and we close out the invoice in MRPeasy a day later, QuickBooks has often already generated an invoice to match the deposit. This can result in duplicate invoices in QuickBooks and requires some cleanup. It is a bit frustrating, but to be clear, this is not an issue with MRPeasy. Way better than spreadsheets and customer service is very responsive when you have issues. Pros Great value. Robust enough to work for most manufacturers. I'm even able to find in system work arounds for a few use cases that aren't planned for in the software. Cons No good way to back date entries. As a small business you don't always have time to record everything into the software. This effects summary reporting. If we ship out an order on the 29th, but it doesn't get record until the 2nd. You can't make it appear in certain reports for the correct month. Multiple steps to workflows can be cumbersome. The software seems designed for a team of people. A sales person putting in a SO, another putting in request for shipment and someone in the warehouse pulling and releasing the order. We are a smaller company that primarily uses MRPeasy for cost tracking across complex manufactured products. The multiple steps can feel cumbersome at times. It’s perfect for the "brains" of the operation (planning/stock), but it feels a bit clunky and expensive for the "hands" (the shop floor). If they improved the iPad interface and offered a "light" license for floor workers, it would be a 5-star product. Pros The core production planning and inventory logic are dependable. It does exactly what we need for managing manufacturing orders and tracking raw materials. For a small to mid-sized manufacturer, the underlying engine provides the necessary discipline without the overhead of a massive ERP system. Cons Pricing: While the admin cost is fair, paying $50+ USD per worker just to have them "punch in/out" on the floor feels steep, especially since we don't use 70% of the features (like CRM or POs). UI/UX: The interface is outdated. We use iPads on the factory floor, and the layout isn't touch-friendly—the "Stop" and "Go" buttons should be much larger. Regional Logic: As a Canadian company, we’d prefer CAD pricing. Additionally, we’d love a smoother "currency toggle" in the UI. We buy materials in USD but pay labor in CAD; managing this across the system could be more intuitive. A lot of our back end data is much more accessible and synced across all departments which is much better. We struggle with cycle counting inventory and need better reporting for sales analysis for items that are used in sub-assemblies and sold in many different kitted SKUs. We still have a few items to implement like productivity reporting and inventory syncing with our ecommerce platforms. Overall our staff has rated MRPeasy a 3.5 out of 5 on an internal grading compared against our own KPIs for the system. Pros The UI is modern and clean without a lot of clutter. You can navigate through different contextual menus and settings pages that are provided in relevant places throughout the system. Their customer support, while sometimes borderline too concise, is prompt and helpful. They don't brush off issues and investigate issues and report back to you when they have been resolved. They know their manual well and reference it often when troubleshooting so you get to know it well too to refer back to in the future. Their system is highly standardized which helps companies who have not used an MRP system before standardize their work too. It may feel restrictive at first but they implement best practices in order to succeed in their software and you are better off for it. Their network of consultants proved helpful during initial implementation. We paid for this additional service and were pleased with its impact. Cons The learning curve is steep and will test your patience as you understand how different functionalities communicate with one another. It is easy to bring your assumptions into the system and have it not work as you hoped. A lot of times you will say "that makes sense if you think about it but I have never thought about it that way" in regards to system behaviors that seem like a bug or go against how you currently operate. If your company is complex, MRPeasy will visualize that for you and some staff may be uncomfortable with that initially. The capability means you may also overcomplicate some parts of setup and may simplify them later on. You may still need to rely on spreadsheets for reporting as not all the information and reporting may match your needs. You really can measure almost anything about your production processes and plan your manufacturing, purchasing and delivery for weeks and months in advance if required! Cons Due to the flexibility and potential for customisation, it can however sometimes be a little tricky to find the 'best' or most efficient way to reflect your manufacturing process in the system. As all of us knows, adopting to a new software takes time, they are not one size fits all since it's not custom made to our specific needs. Cons It uses a system where, to access further parts of an order details - say adding a payment - you need to create an invoice. In doing so, the page refreshes and extra parts appear. Pros For a small company, having a tool that is not only great value for money, but also simple to use, easy to understand, learn and implement has been a huge plus. With only a few employees, we have to make sure that the inventory management systems we use can be implemented quickly and efficiently and MRPeasy ticks all those boxes. Cons We sub-contract our hot works to a third party who works within our building, and so trying to integrate this to the system is a little challenging at first, but we have found a work around. Would be better if made available in modules as many of the features are not applicable to our operation, e.g accounting. Pros The stock control system is efective and easy to use. Training manuals are excellent. Would be more useful if the BOM was not necessary as we add stock out as the build progresses. Cons A limited number of stock items in the basic version meaning we had to upgrade. Many of the features are not applicable to our operation but we find ways around that. If all you have is a part name, or a few digits of a long item number. Its easily finds what you are looking for and you and trace the info with a click of the mouse. Very customisable. The help and documentation are outstanding, and the support is quick and responsive. Cons The price. We are a very small company and would like to do many things professionally, even at a small scale. However, given our current revenue level, the pricing makes it difficult to justify the higher-tier plans, even though many of the features could be very useful already before scaling. MR Peasy help is also a great tool for any general queries I have. As I say, MRPeasy has made it easy to track and managed all of my client Purchase orders, all of the stock that goes with that and allowed me to focus on what matters most to me in my business which is getting production out the door as quickly and accurately as possible. Pros MRPeasy gives you one central repository for all your order and manufacturing information with cross referencing available from almost every page. After two years of battling with spreadsheets that only I can understand, MRPeasy has simplified and streamlined my manufacturing-process paper trail and given me valuable reports for traceability. Cons Only that free users have no rights at all in the system. I would have liked to see role-based costing for users, that way I can put more of my staff onto MRPeasy. Delivery Manager Food Production Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Wouldn't recommend" June 11, 2025 3.0 It essentially seems like someone turned a spreadsheet into a database table and put a basic UI over the top that replicates pivot tables. It then feels like various features have been tacked on with no real coherent design decisions. I am currently investigating alternative solutions in the market because of this. Pros In terms of headline functionality, it does provide an almost full solution. There is the ability to add the fields relevant to your business. Cons The UI and UX is genuinely terrible. Modules and features don't logically sit in the right places. Key information isn't highlighted in ways that stand out or provide quick insights to the users. Screens are crowded with icons yet don't segregate content clearly. The business partner they endorse to support with installation also failed to implement leading to my company hiring me to resolve the issue.
