Amazing support, Have great library of resources. Good service. Cost effective, and the team is flexible. Pros Easy to use, Support is great, Cost Effective, Have all the features for food manufacturing, Traceability, Bill of Material Management is great, Customer order to PO-Manufacturing order and to invoice, fulfillment flow is so great. I have already recommended this to many small business. Great visibility to cost structure, efficiency in production. Nothing but good things. I have used SAP Business 1 Manufacturing module and Netsuite, I love MRPEasy way better. Cons Lack of controls, not a big issue for small business. Template design flexibility. Returns and Credit management is bit tricky. You have to integrate with QB or an accounting software. I use this only for manufacturing and traceability. Business Operations Manager Furniture Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Better Communication, Coordination, and Efficiency" December 22, 2025 4.0 We are 8 months in and are functioning okay. A lot of our back end data is much more accessible and synced across all departments which is much better. We struggle with cycle counting inventory and need better reporting for sales analysis for items that are used in sub-assemblies and sold in many different kitted SKUs. We still have a few items to implement like productivity reporting and inventory syncing with our ecommerce platforms. Overall our staff has rated MRPeasy a 3.5 out of 5 on an internal grading compared against our own KPIs for the system. Pros The UI is modern and clean without a lot of clutter. You can navigate through different contextual menus and settings pages that are provided in relevant places throughout the system. Their customer support, while sometimes borderline too concise, is prompt and helpful. They don't brush off issues and investigate issues and report back to you when they have been resolved. They know their manual well and reference it often when troubleshooting so you get to know it well too to refer back to in the future. Their system is highly standardized which helps companies who have not used an MRP system before standardize their work too. It may feel restrictive at first but they implement best practices in order to succeed in their software and you are better off for it. Their network of consultants proved helpful during initial implementation. We paid for this additional service and were pleased with its impact. Cons The learning curve is steep and will test your patience as you understand how different functionalities communicate with one another. It is easy to bring your assumptions into the system and have it not work as you hoped. A lot of times you will say "that makes sense if you think about it but I have never thought about it that way" in regards to system behaviors that seem like a bug or go against how you currently operate. If your company is complex, MRPeasy will visualize that for you and some staff may be uncomfortable with that initially. The capability means you may also overcomplicate some parts of setup and may simplify them later on. You may still need to rely on spreadsheets for reporting as not all the information and reporting may match your needs. Helped to prepare material requirements for our monthly production requirements. Pros Improved our ability to Order and track required materials for different production facilities in different locations. Improved our materials forecasting requirements for different factories based on current orders. And allowed us to do more with fewer people. Cons limiting the number of BOM's and Routing allowable on the system at any one time. The initial quantity is very high and took almost 2 year to reach the Cap but once it was reached is caused a lot of issues and we had to start doing regular maintenance on the old out dated BOM's to get the numbers down. June 17, 2025 2.0 You buy the system online then are left to work it out for ourselves. For the size of our business it should do everything we need it to. A little more help in the beginning and ongoing reviews would support your new users and get a much more positive response. Pros The pricing for a small business is excellent unless you need more than a couple of users. It should do everything we need it to do and linking in to our finance system will help significantly once we fully understand how to use it. Cons The onboarding is challenging and understanding how to use it. You are given a 1 hour training session then left to work it out with the tools available on line. We are a small manufacturing business that makes 5 products. After months of trying to work things out for ourselves we engaged with one of their onboarding consultants Smart Manufacturing. We gave them a detailed brief of what we wanted. However, it was clear that after a couple of sessions they did not really understand how the system worked. They cancelled our project half way through saying we needed a three month onboarding consultation. For such a small business this is ridicules'. We have just had to work through it ourselves which we are doing. Not sure how it will scale once my operations expand esp bar coding warehouse etc. Pros Really customized. I can pretty much change a lot of things on the fly without hiring a professional coder. Cons Reporting can get better. This software has tons of potential but not sure why they don't introduce more tools such as tracking unfulfilled orders & partial orders, daily dashboard to see what is due and what is behind \[need to introduce on dashboard tasks eg: if an order is delivered then immediately it should alert that invoicing is not done. This would rival bigger players in the market only if they keep developing!!! It integrates well with Quickbooks and it has all of the features needed by a food/supplement manufacturing company. Pros The ease of use and short learning curve, it is intuitive to use, easy to add users and get them up to speed on using the system. Inventory and usage are accurate and easy to use. Cons The inability to substitute materials in a subcontractor BOM/order, makes it more complicated than it needs to be. Need to add a feature like other MRP's to be able to swap materials within an order instead of having to change the BOM short term or writing off the consumed materials. Would be better if made available in modules as many of the features are not applicable to our operation, e.g accounting. Pros The stock control system is efective and easy to use. Training manuals are excellent. Would be more useful if the BOM was not necessary as we add stock out as the build progresses. Cons A limited number of stock items in the basic version meaning we had to upgrade. Many of the features are not applicable to our operation but we find ways around that. Easy to use. amazing value for money. It does far more than systems that are 60% more expensive Pros Very easy to use. All information can easily be accessed from almost anywhere in the system. If all you have is a part name, or a few digits of a long item number. Its easily finds what you are looking for and you and trace the info with a click of the mouse. Very customisable. As a start up, we do not need the complexity and cost of a large ERP system. Using MRPeasy with it's integrations to finance and CRM tools allows us a level of flexibility as we develop. The support is excellent. The online materials as an introduction and ongoing support are great, well written and easy to navigate. MrPeasy is a great addition too. Pros This is an intuitive system. It is straight forward and simple to understand. The interface is simple and all major functions are easily accessible. The support system is great, all tickets are responded to within 24hr and the majority of questions resolved in that period. Cons Serial Numbers not being able to be displayed on paperwork such as MO means we overwrite Lot Numbers. The definition of WIP is sometimes confusing. Pros It has really helped with our scheduling and inventory. We use it to manage product and people from the purchasing of raw material to shipping finished goods. For the money it is the best program we've found. Cons It is really hard to get a detailed report on a manufacturing order. I like to see how our projected time matches up with actual on each process but I haven't found a way to do that. We have to create our own reports which means a lot of double entry. It then feels like various features have been tacked on with no real coherent design decisions. I am currently investigating alternative solutions in the market because of this. Pros In terms of headline functionality, it does provide an almost full solution. There is the ability to add the fields relevant to your business. Cons The UI and UX is genuinely terrible. Modules and features don't logically sit in the right places. Key information isn't highlighted in ways that stand out or provide quick insights to the users. Screens are crowded with icons yet don't segregate content clearly. The business partner they endorse to support with installation also failed to implement leading to my company hiring me to resolve the issue. October 4, 2024 5.0 Overall it has done everything we need it to do, and it’s easier to use than 3 other systems we tested, while still being a very capable platform. Pros We only use a small fraction of its features. I like that we can use it with the very simple workflow we have now, and activate or start using more features as we grow. Cons Write offs - you can only write off one item type at a time using the normal web interface. We have some parts that get scrapped during production, and when we write them off it would be useful to enter them as a list rather than one by one. Cons I struggled a bit with understanding the various data objects and how the fit into the overall workflow. As soon as I understood the concepts it was very easy to implement. Someone always answers a call for help. Pros MRPeasy integrates well with both Xero and WooCommerce. This was a fundamental choice for us. Cons There are a small number of things that could be improved. In order to send an invoice I have to either switch to Xero and send from there, or download the invoice and attach it to an email.
