Works the same on iPhone, iPad and laptop. Support is responsive and actually helpful. The AI support chat works very well. Documentation is expansive. We use it daily and have saved many, many hours from our days with paper MOs and spreadsheet planning and tracking. Pros Overall, It's very affordable for small manufacturing businesses yet packed with features and flexibility usually available only with expensive ERP systems. But it's the attention to detail in terms of data, functionality, and workflow that made me fall in love with it. As with any resource planning software - the key to success is understating, planning, and implementing the data architecture that is right for your business. From templates, video instruction, documentation to friendly and helpful onboarding assistance from real people, MRPeasy helps you get things right the first time. The fact that it integrates with QBO and other accounting packages is a huge plus. That you can track backwards from specific finished product lots to specific ingredient lots really helps out consumer packaged food manufactures who heed this ability as part of their HAACP plan. Cons Not much to dislike. There are a few interface quirks that can be annoying: Can't re-schedule an MO from the MO itself - need to move them around in the calendar view; CRM module is awkward, and not really of much use unless you plan to use it as your primary CRM. Real CRM integration with QBO (more than importing customers) would be a great help for HAACP to track lots sent to customers. If they improved the iPad interface and offered a "light" license for floor workers, it would be a 5-star product. Pros The core production planning and inventory logic are dependable. It does exactly what we need for managing manufacturing orders and tracking raw materials. Regional Logic: As a Canadian company, we’d prefer CAD pricing. Additionally, we’d love a smoother "currency toggle" in the UI. We buy materials in USD but pay labor in CAD; managing this across the system could be more intuitive. Way better than spreadsheets and customer service is very responsive when you have issues. Pros Great value. Robust enough to work for most manufacturers. I'm even able to find in system work arounds for a few use cases that aren't planned for in the software. Cons No good way to back date entries. As a small business you don't always have time to record everything into the software. This effects summary reporting. If we ship out an order on the 29th, but it doesn't get record until the 2nd. You can't make it appear in certain reports for the correct month. Multiple steps to workflows can be cumbersome. The software seems designed for a team of people. A sales person putting in a SO, another putting in request for shipment and someone in the warehouse pulling and releasing the order. The program is straightforward and easy to use. After getting everything set up and spending some time becoming familiar with the system, it has become a seamless part of our operations. We have been using it for nearly a year now, and it has proven to be a reliable and user-friendly solution for managing our processes. Pros We are an educational manufacturer of rock, mineral, and fossil kits. We manage a large inventory, and MRPeasy has been a great tool for tracking inventory, generating purchase orders and invoices for both suppliers and customers, and managing the entire manufacturing process from raw materials to finished kits. We also use QuickBooks for our bookkeeping, and all invoice information transfers automatically from MRPeasy into QuickBooks. In addition, as we were setting up, customer support was readily available to answer questions. Cons For cons, this is less about MRPeasy and more about QuickBooks. When we receive payment and close out an invoice in MRPeasy, it automatically transfers to QuickBooks, which works well. However, if the payment is deposited in our bank first and we close out the invoice in MRPeasy a day later, QuickBooks has often already generated an invoice to match the deposit. This can result in duplicate invoices in QuickBooks and requires some cleanup. It is a bit frustrating, but to be clear, this is not an issue with MRPeasy.
