Comments: Shiftzen has made it very easy to communicate our schedule to the staff.
The drop shift/swap feature is great because it allows the staff to prepare the change on their own and all I have to do is approve the change.
The support from the Shiftzen staff is even better! Any questions or issues I have with the software are answered and fixed immediately.
We are very pleased with Shiftzen!!

Comments: I have worked with several other scheduling platforms in my career. ShiftZen is by far the best with customer service. The ShiftZen team is great at listening to suggestions or requests for the software, and very quick to make necessary changes to improve the clients experience. You just do not get that with other scheduling services. ShiftZen can be customized to the needs of your business with ease. The only con I can think of is that they do not have an app for Android users yet, but I have been told they are working on it. Apple users will enjoy a pretty solid app

The only 'advantage' to the app is the ability to provide notifications, which is handled via text messages for iPhone and Android (and windows/blackberry/etc) users. Keep the suggestions coming! Comments: ShiftZen is the fourth online scheduling platform that I've used as a restaurant manager and is top to bottom the most cost-effective and customizable. The learning curve wasn't very steep when we switched over from another product, only taking me a few days and couple of emails to get it just the way we needed it. To that point, the customer service is unmatched in the sector with live, local people there to answer calls or quickly respond to emails, day or night.

My only issue is that the auto log-out time seems to be rather short (I log in to approve a shift, for example, get side-tracked for 3 minutes, and have to log in again), but I understand that's primarily for security reasons. Also, I wish there was an admin-specific iPhone app that offered the ability to perform the same tasks such as scheduling that you need the web-based software for. Otherwise, no complaints at all.

There are some other, much higher priced options out there with additional bells and whistles, but when functionality, performance & service are the most important, ShiftZen does not disappoint. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Chad! Based on your review we have increased the auto log out to 17 minutes and you will now be allowed to 'refresh' your session as well. Regarding iPhone admin functions, you can always switch to 'desktop view' from the home screen and do all that from any phone. We also have plans to make it even easier to approve swaps/exchanges/time off requests from the native mobile web app. Thanks! Peter and the whole team

Comments: For someone going from old school to an on line scheduler like Shiftzen was not easy, but Peter at Shiftzen made my experience seamless. We have been using it for almost a year now and it is great. The Tavern team loves it also as they can see there schedules on their phones any time of day or night.

Comments: One of the first things that runs rampant when you are away from your business, is labor costs. Shiftzen is invaluable when it comes to keeping those costs down. I can be away from the restaurant, yet still stay connected by knowing who is working, even with the multitude of switched shifts. I would recommend Shiftzen to any restaurant owner. It will save you hundreds of dollars and headaches a week.

Comments: ShiftZen is amazing! They have made scheduling so much easier for me. They have also been extremely responsive to the needs of my business and the features that would make things even easier for me... I asked, and they now have total hours for the week for each employee, so that I can avoid scheduling overtime when I want. Now, my scheduling is a breeze and I just need to approve shift-swaps that pop up on my phone to ensure a week of smooth service. Thanks!
